Little advice on how to start ports? i've just achieved 90 herblore and wanting tetsu armour all i need left is 90 fishing. >.< but what can i do when im just starting out?

So tonight I spent about 3-4 hours at bandos soloing, not one single drop.. 300+ kc all up and all i managed to get was a damn godsword shard 1.. wasted like 10% on my drygores, really need a drop to pay for recharges.. -.- BUT! in brighter news, gained 95 str! :)

I can't see your skills at the moment but im hoping your close to these goals/stats. 1) Get 90 fishing and 90 smithing and do ports for tetsu armour, which solves your high level armour problem. 2) train or leech your dg to 85 for frost dragons and by the time you hit 85 you'll have enough toks for a rapier/longsword/ccb/cstaff, 1 inventory of frost dragon bones is 450k and takes about 10 mins, very good money making in my opinion. or if you have a pack yak you can use the scrolls for pack yak and camp frost dragons while using scrolls to send bones to bank. 3) if you manage to obtain both of the above, use the tetsu gear and try to aim for a dual chaotic weapon it doesnt take long and camp bandos. once again this is assuming you have at least 80+ cb stats. TIP: If you go to bandos be sure to buy a scrimshaw of vamp, turn it on when minions and boss come flick it back off once there killed. it will prolong your trips by a alot! 4) Slayer! everyone knows slayer makes money, tasks like dragons are very good money. make sure if you get aviansies do it at Armadyl for drops and alot of exp! really them 4 options should solve your money/gear problems and in the process give you tons to do! [EDIT] If your having trouble leveling smith for the tetsu do warbands! it also gives 6K slayer exp - 10-13k Prayer and summoning! Finding a fc isnt too hard either. :) Just join Warband 1 or Warband 2 :)

Since i do warbands everyday and pvm quite alot i'm looking to get overloads rather soon. and in preperation for that i was going to make 1k of each extreme for the overloads, im 89 herblore at the moment and was just wondering how much exp would this give me and how much would it cost? so it'd be: - 1000 x extreme strengths - 1000 x extreme attack - 1000 x extreme defence - 1000 x extreme ranging - 1000 torstols for overloads - 1000 overloads? how far would this get me in terms of exp and levels? if i dont make 96 i can boost to 96 for overload making?

Also remember to flick your scrimshaw on and off when killing Krill', makes that 3 hours last alot longer. :)

Well no drops at KK tonight, Bandos didn't drop sheit either. So I decided to make up a challenge for myself for frost dragons, its in the main post anyway. :) Pree' keen to go to sleep for now, but i'll be back after work. :3 not like anyone cares anyway. >.< Goodnight tip.it'ers. :)

Start with whatever items you like there are several fcs around you can use to flip with. For example, "nex and ss" if you ask for Virtus line and they say V: 19+/21+/21-2 obviously not the real prices, what you wanna do is go with one. im going to choose virtus mask - its at 19+ so i'll go and buy at 19251k once it buys report in fc "nib v mask 19.25m oc" which just tells them you bought it at that price, it will generally buy pree' fast now for selling just put it in as 19499k - 250k margin it doesnt seem likemuch but you do it twice with every items and its rather rapid and easy. you'll start to profit heaps off this method and then eventually work your way up margins - try 300k margins.. Nib - non instant buy Inb - Instant buy nis - non instant sell ins - instant sell oc - overcut uc - undercut incase you didnt know what they mean and you see them in the chat, anyway just do that for awhile and you'll make plenty of cash. Goodluck! and remember flipping is done at your own risk so be careful!

I heard making adamant platebodys were still fairly decent money? also, if you wanted to profit while smithing which is faster then superheat gold as far as i know in theory; superheating mithril averaging to 150 gp profit per bar is what i hear from clannies.
