Well, i have been sitting at 84 slayer for well over 6 months now. I just havent had the urge to get my level lol. People at abbys would poke fun at me all the time, because im a lvl 125 using Wild Pies to train on abbys for whips lol. But one day, i was sitting there killing abbys, and a guy came up there wearing the new slayer mask. I never really got ambitious to get one, because i was happy enough just making pies to kill abbys. Until i started watching his hits... Constant mid to high 30s so it got me interested. So i head off to cave horrors for the day, without any luck (guess i used all my lucky drops up from getting 8 whip drops in 3 days) So instead i hop over to world 2, go to fally park, and buy one :P Who knew something like that would make me get up and train slayer again hehehe. I went from 250k xp away from 85 slayer yeterday, to 40k away from my lvl right now as im typing this. Its great being able to burn through tasks so quickly, and hitting so hard. Some small things i noticed about the mask... and these are things that i notice about it, dont chew me out for it, and it might just be me. When im training on lets say.... Gargoyles. When i first drink a Super Attack, and Super Strength, my stats are both at 118. I wear full guthans and alternate the helm with the mask, and the weapon with drag square, and whip. So anyways. at 118 strength, and attack, the number that pops up the most with my hits is a 37 (the odd time a 38). Now, here comes the confusing part. There was one time, i wasnt paying attention, and my stats ended up going back to natural (99) I didnt notice, but i usually drink a pot when i see my hits are getting lower. But when im wearing the black mask.... at 99 strength and attack. I still hit 35s Its only a couple hits less then when im fully potted, and i dont hit it very often. Not really all that special, cause i drink a super set anyways just to hit harder and faster :P just thought it was pretty strange. Also, i spent all yesterday TRYING (yes trying) to get an Iron Dragon task. The best part is... they are now my favorite Task to get. Yup, you heard it. They removed the first digit of the task number. Rather then always getting 150 or so Iron Dragons for a task... I get 40 - 60 Iron Dragons. Which is GREAT !!!! Its not to low a number to make it a pain to get down there. And its not to big to where u have to spend a couple hours there. Not to mention (and this is just me, doesnt mean its the same for everyone) but, i can kill 3 Iron Dragons now before i have to take a drink of a prayer potion. THREE !!!! (sometimes more, sometimes less) Before the mask, i was lucky to kill 1 and a half per dose. Its also very easy to tell when your task is done... you go from hitting constant 30s on the dragons, to hitting constant 0s lol. so this makes them ultimately my favorite task to get now. Whats the point of the story? I dunno, im bored. Im killing Gargoyles right now, and felt like typing out a story :P

NEO !!!!! dont listen to these crack heads, they dont know what they are all talking about :P gold is fast to mine (i mine it sometimes faster then coal) im 88 mining though, so im sure its different for you..... but anyways. If you havent done Between a Rock... Quest DO IT. You put on your gold helm, mine 27 gold, take off your helm. it will TP you out of the mine. Take a quick sprint east to the boatman, he will deposit your ores automatically to your bank... oh yeah WEAR RING OF CHAROS (U) Charm him, he will only take 3 gold from you each trip. Its tedious yes... but its alot less work then all these other options you are getting from ppl :P But look at the bright side. you will need 30k gold to mine for 85 mining. thats 1112 trips to the mine, and you keep 26688 Gold ores for yourself. which will get you to dam near 80 smithing (couple hundred ores short) thats if you go and pay 20k for gold smithing gaunts, if you dont have them already. but DONT FORGET THE RING. or else i think he takes 6 ores per trip... and when your doing 1112 trips, that adds up :P Why there? As you can tell, no one knows about it, there are TONS of rocks down there, you NEVER stand around, even with another person mining gold there as well. If u did that quest and you dont quite remember what im talking about. Go to Keldagrim (the cave east of the freminick town) go into the next cave east of the entrance you just came into. then since u will have your charos ring on you, it wont cost you 2 gp to cross the river (its free) and then run east around the wall to the cannon, ask to be shot through it, and mine your heart out. and like i said near the beginning, run straight east after your load, and the boatman is at the water there. i hope they let you charge the masks soon..... i was hitting 38s like they were nothing when it had 10 charges... now im lucky to hit over 30 now that its at 0 charges (im 125 combat)

my favorite one...... in our houses, u can put a small imp in your garden for a pond.... when you build it, it looks like the imp is peeing in the pond, and when you examine him, it says something to the effect of "what a naughty imp" :lol:

i find only being able to build 20 rooms in our houses a bug, considering all the different types of rooms there are.... why havent they fixed that one essential thing? grrrrr

im not sure if its an idea or not.... but is there a way to have your house demolished in one quick shot? hehehe. if there isnt a way, then its an idea :P heres my prob... i have a fair size house. 16 rooms on the bottom 4 rooms on top. i can finally make formal gardens, but i cant add them to my house, because my portals are on top of my old gardens.... thats alot of runes to get rid of to change a garden... so i left it as it is for now :oops: they should have a demolish house button. only getting back the items that you would get back if you deleted them by hand (glory ammy, armor stands, etc) just so u dont have to sit there and delete every room, whinning that you had to remove 6 portals that cost you thousands of runes :P at least if u can do it quickly, and painlessly, its not so bad ;)

aww. i was thinking about that as i was reading through the topic. as soon as someone said taverly isnt close to keldagrim right away i knew that those noobs better start doing quests :P i think taverly is the fastest way to keldagrim... sure it costs 50gp with ring on. but its quite the time saver :lol:

Well im only 21 (124 combat) my wife who plays is 35, shes also 124 combat, my Dad plays as well... hes 42 years old. (he was 92 smithing, and 109 combat, but Jagex banned his character for macroing, LMFAO !!! but they wont let him appeal it cause they are jerks) My mom used to play, shes 41. (she was also banned for macroing, just cause she plays all the time, and same thing, they wont give her, her character back. but yeah, we are all older who would rather play a game, then go out and sit in a bar and get drunk off our faces all the time.

at the end of january i will have been playing this game for 4 years. when members first came out, the ONLY item that was seen at the time on f2p was a UNICORN HORN! and it wasnt even tradable, you could only drop it on the ground and it would show up. SOLVED!
