I've thought a bit in the past about what would make me quit RuneScape. Seemed to me the main reasons would be: [*:1vmesymq]Something came up in my life, like a new job with a lot more hours or a lot more call on my mind; or [*:1vmesymq]Jagex completely removed PvP, the element of the game that got me interested in RuneScape in the first place; or [*:1vmesymq]Jagex announced that they wouldn't be updating the game any more; or [*:1vmesymq]Jagex confined your character to a specific subset of worlds, thus fragmenting and ruining the economy. (As many experienced players know, the fact you can log your char in & trade on any world makes the RuneScape economy work much better than most other MMORPGs.) Now, if when I've maxxed my main character and still can't do any good at PvP, I might try making different kinds of pures for the lower-level craters (never tried it); that wouldn't take very long. If I can't do any good with those, I might conclude that PvP is dead and give up. No doubt there are other things that Jagex, given their record of not reversing a policy change once made, could do that would irreversibly break the game in my eyes. However, they seem a fairly sensible sort of company, and I understand its creator Andrew Gower is still in charge, so I am not expecting anything like that.
