  1. HP 185 & LND 50.

Could you please use the code to post the results?

    Code:

    Link to the declaration:

Winning clan (both name + initials):

    Winning clan's member-list:

Losing clan (both name + initials):

    Losing clan's member-list:

Starting/ending ops of both clans (screenshot is valid proof):

Helps a lot & speeds things up for TWR mods, that's positive for both sides. ::'

  2. I pay for this game, so if I want to play nonstop for 4 days straight, that's my right as a consumer. Besides I don't believe in "gaming addiction"

You don't believe in gaming addiction? I beg your pardon? So people who have to play RuneScape every day, become aggressive when they can't play it and do it more then 8 hours a day aren't addicted? (there were examples of people like that in the article)

That gaming addiction excists isn't even a point of discussion, it's a fact.

  3. Hey,

I've just read an article about gaming addiction, and I was wondering if you (the players) think it's the responsability of JAGeX to limit the gaming time, to prevent people from playing 10+ hours a day on RS.

Keep in mind I mean for example a limit of 8 hours a day, for all accounts. Do you think that's needed. Would you protest against it?

I'd like to hear your thoughts. ::'

  4. Who's side would you take/who would you remove from the chat if the flaming was equal? Why?:

Flaming is never equal, but I would take the side of the person that is right. However, I'd give for example the clan member a warning but I'd give the non-member a (temporary) ban of IRC.

What if your ex member was the one taking most of the flames/insults and your member was the one dishing the most out, who's side would you take? Why?:

I would warn both, and talk to my own clan member. I think it's important that clan members respect the opinion of ex-members, and think a bit out of the box. Others can also have good opinions.

  5. I do agree with the post I must say. Before I was one of the "more pvp worlds", but that post brings up a few good points. I am a fan of alliances, I think if a clan can't win just get some help of another clan and it makes it more fun, although it shouldn't be the rule that every time you go into wild you have to do it with 5 other clans in order to survive. Some independability is also needed for a clan, just be together with your PK leaders & your members only and slay some clans.

I understand it better now from the view of JAGeX, although I think money isn't that big of an issue for them. ::'

  6. A very to the point question:

[b]Which clan that would be closed today would have the biggest impact on the clan world? [/b]

I was thinking about this when I was reading about RuneRaiders their closure. I was wondering which clan would have the most effect on the clan world if they closed. A few years ago when DarkSlayers closed the clan world was in shock, would any current (top) clan have that same kind of effect now?

Note: This is not a topic to discuss which clan you want to see closed, it's a topic that discusses the effect of the closure of a clan on the clan world.

  7. Would be nice if there were more BH worlds so I could actually take LGZ into PVP without being ripped by a bigger, better clan.

Jagex are trying though, perhaps not enough?

I strongly believe they are trying, the JCC is a pretty good example of that, but I sometimes have the feeling that JAGeX doesn't really have the touch with the clans. They know more or less what's needed, but I believe with more communication they would be able to know exactly what clans need.

  8. Another question: And what about the members?

How would you - as a member - respond to a slump? Would you be the person who steps up and asks for acitivty/positivity, or would you hold yourself on the background until it all calmed down and then act?

  9. From a completely non-staff-related point of view, I really hate the idea of changing usernames. If all of the people that I recognize on Tip.it suddenly started changing their names, I would get so confused :? And yes, I know that people COULD put something like "Previously ____" in their signature, but there is no guarantee that they will and I'd still like to remember their name without having to glance down and read who they previously were (or constantly check IP addresses).

I agree, a seperate place to add in your MechScape name is enough, and as far RSN's are concerned they have technically no relation to your forum name, unless you choose so. It would cause a lot of confusion if people changed RSN's and we'd allow them to change their forum names too, because you never know people might confuse you with somebody else and stuff like that.

You will lose your old post count and join date, but those things don't really matter do they? ;)

We might as well remove them.

    Note: Joking eh

  10. Lately some clans are experiencing so called slumps. A slump is a period of time where a clan goes trough some rough moments, but doesn't die, let's say just pull less people & have some internal issues. It's a phenomenon that not only happens in lower ranked clans, also top clans have a lot of internal problems now & then.

    Let's create a virtual situation:

    Clan X has problems:

    - people don't listen to the staff

    - some people want to PK more

    - some people want to PK less

    - basicly a lot of members leave because they are unhappy

How would you, saying you are a clan leader, deal with it? Would you do it the 'soft' way (trying to make a lot of posts, giving out a lot of warnings if people don't show up to events) or the 'hard' way (kicking members who make problems, demoting staff that isn't cooperative) ?

And do you think it's best to handle it the soft way or the hard way? Or somewhere inbetween?

  11. JAGeX spends a lot of effort lately on clans, so we're going in the right direction. However the recent reducing of the PvP worlds isn't a good idea, since somewhat smaller clans will have problems sometimes to just go on a PK trip because if a few top clans are out they'll wipe them away.

I hope JAGeX keeps spending attention to the clans, and certainly keeps accepting feedback from them.

  12. Bauke, if you're only posting on these boards to say how bad you find RS-Classic, I don't understand why you still keep replying on these topics then. Everybody is free to say he/she finds RSC better as RS2.

Sure, the graphics and gameplay of RS-Classic might be worse as RS2, but it still doesn't mean some people want to PK in classic (because personally I still find that a better system as in RS2) or just think back and explore the game it all started with.
