Worldofraids.com is a pretty mature one, also don't you have a guild(forum)?

Yeah that quest is some easy money (I did it when I was 70, so all exp = gold). If you really want to do a fun quest chain with awesome rewards do the one in Shadowmoon Valley which starts at the Deathforge (gotta finish some "omg kill these elementals plix"-quest at the quest giver here before he gives you the first quest of the chain, he'll send you to some guy (Oronok) in the northern part of Shadowmoon Valley you gotta help him find his sons or something and in the end group up with 4 others to kill some bigass elemental. Rewards are awesome for all classes (picked an insane tanking axe on my warrior and an incredibly cool (especially the looks) bow on my hunter).

They nerfed priest as heal bots yes, mainly because DPS class+priest where pretty unstoppable in "the days". They gave them some pretty nasty survivability in return though (the anti-crit stuff amongst some others). As for shamans, they've become a lot more gear-depended, a good gear enhancement (dual wield) shaman is unstoppable, compared to for example mages (see: Vurtne) who can pretty much you naked. Even though I agree with Nadril, it's one of the most balanced games I've played so far. And the problem with balancing it better is because you can't take the skill of the player in account since there will always be a player (Pat, Vurtne, you name them) that's better than you. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the fact that they gave Horde paladins and Alliance shamans. It's just a sign that Blizzard failed at balancing the two classes evenly for PvP and PvE, but ah well, I quit - so what am I complaining about! :P

Heroes 5.
Heroes or Heroes of the Might and Magic - V (HOMMV), does anyone play this game? And if you do which race and which hero do you normally pick, and especially, why? I normally play Inferno with my favourite hero being Deleb. Even though I think this hero and this faction is amazing, and pretty overpowered (empowered balista, gating ability), there must be some other factions which have some amazing abilities and heroes. Also does anyone have any information on the release date of the new expansion? I'm really interested in: [Source]

You can set it up the way you want rocketman089. Also for a good addonlist, look on: http://files.wowace.com Also Nadril, best thing to do then as a rogue especially when you fighting area with that bridge and those obstacles is to run exactly the opposite direction to get out of combat and then stealth, etc. Of course this requires common sense and experience (range, dots, class), but is pretty much the only way unless you have shadow step/cloak of shadows (whichever the one it is). --- Also I agree with Biox that playing a rogue, or a melee class in common you can't make as much "mistakes" as a caster can. Let's say a frost mage vs. a warrior (easier for my perspective). If I don't charge before he does fire blast, I'm dead. If I don't pummel his sheep or save the pummel (cooldown) for it, I'm dead. If I don't have enough rage to use intimidating shout when he roots me, I'm dead. If I don't get the hamstring on him I'm pretty much dead too, and the list goes on. I've PvP'ed quite a lot pre-TBC and I've seen my brother PvP in TBC with my mage and hunter and ranged > melee. As a mage you still got plenty of options to fix your errors, blink/frost nova/coldsnap and even a second frost nova of that crappy elemental (or blast wave when specced fire). Same for a hunter, and a warlock kills you before you can reach him. :P Proof: [Vurtne], on level 66 killing 2 level 70 rogues, twice. :P

Yes, Vurtne (that's how you spell it, don't ask me ^^) came out with a new movie, check it out and you'll know what I mean (read the description or check the last 30 seconds of the movie). Oh and it's no problem kido14, most of the time my nick gets misspelled to "Messy" so I'm used to something. :P

It's level 60, kido14. And Nadril, we also used a enhancement shaman yes, pretty insane damage output. Problem was he pulled aggro too fast. :P Also changing SS won't be any good for PvE imo. Btw, our group setup was: 1 warrior 1 druid (feral) 2 priests (holy & shadow) 2 shamans (resto & enhancement) 3 warlocks (pewpewpew) 1 random Since we were a pug (non-guild, just friends from several guilds) we just took whatever was on, either was a hunter, a 3rd shaman (elemental) or a 4th warlock. Let's just say, bosses' HP melted down in seconds. :P But as you can see, no mages, no rogues and (most of the time) no hunters. :) Also I don't know if anyone knows "Vurtne" the undead mage who made some awesome PvP movies - but he deleted his character since he thinks it's no longer fair to play a mage in PvP; has to say something.

In pre-TBC warlocks really sucked badly in both PvP and PvE, we almost tried to bring minimum amounts to raids else we would have DPS problems. Rogues, fury warriors and mages really were the top of the notch back then, but I guess Blizzard realised this wasn't balanced, so they nerfed these classes and buffed the other classes not in this list (shadow priests, warlocks in PvE and PvP and hunters in PvP), so now it's imbalanced the other way around. :P

I think you can download/order for free a CD which has the install with all the updates (or at least the biggest ones), a friend of mine did that. It's very handy if you don't want to wait for a whole day to play after you reinstall. ^^; Otherwise, don't download the patches through the Blizzard website since they're butt-slow, but use a Patch Mirror (Wowwiki.com). Also, can't just on PvP really - I focused only on PvE in TBC especially since I was specced prot (only [bleep]ed around a bit on my other classes, but that's not much). Anyway, I PvP'ed quite some in pre-TBC though, even made an own PvP-movie! :P [Linky!] Oh and biox, I'm in #runescape now! ^^

Rogues, mages and hunters are so crappy since TBC they're useless in PvE ^^; I've cleared Karazhan using 3 warlocks and a shadow priest. :P

Heh, if only it were. :P I've paid 12 Euro per month, times ~18 months is 216 Euro paid to Blizzard. Now I've had around 200 days playtime on my characters combined (of which ~120 on my warrior I think) now that's 4.800 hours of WoW. That's like getting paid 20 cents per hour to play. :P Anyway, I'll say again; I've enjoyed every single minute of it. ^^

OMG HEY BIOX! :D Can't you drop by on #darkwebz or where can I find you on IRC/MSN? (preferably IRC ^^) Playing a rogue now I see? Such a [cabbage]ty class! :P Also how can you people have problems killing the last boss in Underbog :\ I used to farm that instance for the heroic-tokens (shield and trinket). You just need a decent tank who knows how to mitigate damage when you're healer is levitated or you just need to bundle up (on heroic you get some adds that come in every x seconds and the boss has more hp, but same tactic non the less). Anyway, even when your healer and tank can't stand close to each other for some reason, you still got last stand, shield block spam, thunderclap (especially easy with the new patch), demo shout and if you really need to, shield wall). Easy mode. Oh and, bring warlocks! (we cleared Karazhan in 6 days with 3 warlocks + shadow priest; it's insane damage-output :P). Oh and Chris, I played RS like what, 4 years ago - I was very young still, and CS I never really played "hard core" but yeah, WoW that, that I played a bit too much. But still never regret a single minute of it. :) Also the funny thing is, I decided to quit my account by I shared my account with my brother (he plays a different character though) but when I saw him do some (like 10) pug-instanced I noticed how few warriors actually knew what they were doing even when some of them specced protection; it's scary.

Macroevolution
To help you keep your topic alive, because I find it quite interesting even though this is not me area of expertise by far (I study economics ^^;); I'm interested how you think that life started? How did we become from something not-living (a protein) to a living cell. And if you believe in the Big-bang, or whatever you want to call it, how can you live with the fact that the human species is just an "accident" which even had like a, what, 0,00.... % of happening? Once again, out of pure interest. :)

We got that Halo 3 coming at us real soon
I got myself a multi player beta-card so that'll be fun. Also I've watched some trailers, making off's, etc. and it really looks awesome - both the multi player (love the way the added some offence-defence levels) and the single player!

I played on Twilight's Hammer (horde side), had a 70 warrior, 70 mage, 70 hunter and 70 druid. Finished Karazhan and all instances on heroic on my warrior around 3 months ago, warrior had the best tanking gear on the server at least as far as I know. Before TBC I've killed like 8 bosses in Naxx and cleared AQ40. Sold him for $950 (the whole account obviously) since I felt I was too addicted (^^;) and didn't really had anything to do in the game. Actually have some screenshots still (:o). First Patchwerk kill: [Link] Last instance I did before I quit: [Link]
