  1. Something Corporate - Konstantine. Great piano, great climax, decent lyrics, amazing structure!

What he means is that's normal that the light blinks now and then, because when it does it's processing (thinking).
  3. Thanks for notifying! :)
  4. The worst pain I ever had was probably that time when I first ate peanuts and then like 30 minutes later, french fries. Well, for some reason the oil of the peanuts and the fries weren't really a great combo, and I had to biggest stumic-pain-attack you can possibly imagine! I was rolling on the floor, but this time not laughing.

Lol that's really some good stuff! :D :D
  7. Maybe it's because Oasis is such a crappy band with an even worse attitude? :P Lol, you're just saying that because Liam Gallagher compared Chris Martin to a geography teacher and called him a knobhead pretender. Get your facts right. First of all it wasn't Gallagher who said Chris looked like a geography teacher, it was Chris self who said something like "we all look like geography teachers" it's even on the DVD. Gallagher did say that Coldplay/Chris made whiney (or however you spell it) music, but he took that comment back after the second album was released. If you wish I got some news-articles about this (all of it). Now, you were saying? Edit:
  8. Maybe it's because Oasis is such a crappy band with an even worse attitude? :P
  9. Actually Coldplay's last album (AROBTTH) got the 4th place in the "best selling album of the year"-list of America.
  10. My guess is that it's called Parachutes.
  11. im guessing you like coldplay? My signature formulates it better.
  12. "Fat boy slim - Push the tempo" And of course the all time favourite... Mr. Oizo, by ... some artist I can't remember. :) ^ Mr. Oizo :D

You can here 30 second previews of every song here (sorry about the dutchy-ness of the site). Scroll a bit down and click the musicnotes in front of the songs.
  14. It's funny that you mention that, since Chris hasn't really said any good works about his own music, he's always downgrading it in interviews. But he's kinda weird since in interview A he's like "our music sucks, that's a bad songs" and in interview B he's like "the new album is going to be like the Eiffeltower fired into space, covered with beautiful gems"... You shouldn't take everything that Chris says seriously. :P
  15. I've been googling for it, but I don't know exactly what to look for. What's the tournament called?
  16. It's not a legal or illegal thing, it's more like a moral thing. Being a rapper doesn't really include much creativity as it is, but if you then also can't come up with your own beats you might as well stop making "music".
  17. Ah well, was worth a try. :\
  18. Wow that sounds like a pretty nice shot. :| Does anyone have a link to it?
  19. What date is Glastonbury?
  20. On demand of How-to-pee-kay (who wanted to know more about the music and "some funny facts"): The band formed when all 4 of them were still in College (London) and was first called "Starfish" (:P), finally after some recording they came with their first EP; Safety. Just before this they decided to name their band different, so Coldplay was born. The name comes from a poetry-collection-book-thing (poÃÆÃâÃâëziebundel in dutch). Anyway after this limited EP, of which only are like 400 made (that's the same as an Enzo Ferrari! AND I OWN ONE! :D) Anywaaaay, after this there came their first single (1998): Brothers and Sisters. From here it went crazily fast, a second EP (Safety) and a third one (The Blue room) and finally in 2000 they got their first album (Parachutes). Btw, did you know among their fans are the following: Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Al & Tipper Gore, Jack Nicholson, Winona Ryder, Sylvester Stallone, Kirsten Dunst, Tobey Maguire, Keri Russell, Elijiah Wood, Daphne Zuniga, Jennifer Love Hewitt... Just to name a few. ;) After touring for a year straight they started on their second album which they said was going to be a lot different, but still Coldplay. With this album (A Rush Of Blood To The Head, a.k.a AROBTTH by fans ;)) they CONQUERED THE WORLD. With pop-aimed songs as Clocks and The Scientist they got number 1 hits all around the world. Nevertheless, these songs aren't the only ones on the album, and in my opinion really not the best songs at all. After this, the awards started to get more and more; Brit-awards, NME's, Grammy's, MTV awards, Q-Awards, Music awards.. You name it! In total they won (so far): - 4 Brit-awards. - 3 NME awards. - 6 Mtv Video Music awards. - 3 Music awards. - 6 Grammy's. - 4 Q-award. - 1 Ivor Novello award. - 1 Silver Clef. Most of them were either "Best band", "best album", "best songwriter" and "best live act", which are basicly what's it all about. :P Oh and, did you know Chris Martin was named the 4th most inspirating songwriter ever? :)
  21. COLDPLAY ROCKS! :D :D :D Anyway, name a song and I can play it on piano/guitar or know the lyrics from the top of my head. :P Also ask anything about any of the bandmembers or songs. :P >_> Coldplay are just a band that have songs, especially from the first album, to listen to when your doing something else or just to lounge about on the couch, but they also have more "rougher" songs that are more rock-like. Not to mention they're one of the best live bands ever. Besides, I'm not the only one who likes Coldplay now, that's pretty cool since it used to be like... me vs. the rest of the world and now it's me and some people.. vs. the rest of the world. :D Threads like this make me... full of energy and stuff. :| Oh and CJ, shut up. :) OH AND: What's wrong about normal? Besides it's not the music, but your personality that makes the music sound depressive to you.

What a lame excuse! LISTEN TO COLDPLAY! :( Btw, "She's hearing voices" is an awesome song as well.
  23. Meesy replied to Kane's topic in Off-Topic
I've heard it already and it's not as good as I expected though, they're sounding too much like U2 now. :\ But still, it's a fantastic album, but just not as good as "GODLIKE". >_> Ps. If you like Coldplay... Why aren't they even in your top 39? Anyway, you have a nice musical taste.
  24. Meesy replied to Kane's topic in Off-Topic
Ah well, I got front row tickets for the upcoming Coldplay concert. 0=) Ps. I like the front of their album as well, the picture is cool and the font is even sweeter (almost as good as Coldplay's ;)).
  25. Meesy replied to Kane's topic in Off-Topic
Lol, you've been listening too much if you write October like that. :P Too bad their tour isn't across Holland as well though. :\
