The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
The Swiss army didn't do anything but incite the South African Army....However, given that I have lost nothing and gained 300 tonnes of Gold, I am happy to withdraw peacefully. Switzerland is happy that its volunteer core is back.

South Africa tells Japan to screw off. The Swiss Volunteer army stir up the South African Army who impound one of the Japanese boats, looting it for aid. (You don't just leave a country without vital aid for a year and then come back in like nothing happen, so you can get the hell away from South Africa and go and colonise somewhere else.)

Mather the point is that people wouldn't use them and so they arn't actually worth anything to the economy...they might be collector's items, but that's all they are...something that you display, not pay with... Also you would have to ask people how much they were willing to pay for it, Switzerland is willing to give you 5 Dollars per Tonne of Paper

Cunning...Like a fox that has just been shot. Seriously, the Krone would stay at the same level, in fact people would probably not accept it because it was 'rare' meaning they had to go to the bank and change it up...More work for them. Otherwise you could just go 'I am releasing a new currency, there are only 5 coins and I am autioning them to my people.'

I have no idea how to work that out. NOK is 0.19 to the Dollar. If they are still valid but not being produced then they should stay at the same price... As I slowly gain more (and thus less is in the public) it should rise in value due to being "rare". They would still be worth the same amount though...If you mean buying and selling the notes then they are not in circulation and so don't contribute...They go out of the public domain and into the private domain.

Retech you can make your currency worth whatever the hell you like in your own country but, unless you lie to people when trading, your currency will still be worth the same amount. All you are doing is creating a knot that will bite you in the backside when no one wants to trade with you because Sere intervenes and tell you exactly what I have said. Your economy should crash because you clearly have no understand of any of the principles involved...like the price of living and taxation. I don't mind explaining them to you but you don't seem interested in understanding them, you just want to produce stupid amounts of money from nowhere. If we implement my system then Dusty can still sell his Industrial Capacity, I have no idea why you would think he couldn't....

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Why are we talking about this obscure thing, it doesn't actually matter. Internally you can spend AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE, all you have to do is work out taxation and then take away the domestic services. Printing money may very well sort your problem, but you cannot use it to produce any more goods than you would already be able to produce...So it doesn't matter if you have 5 yen or 50 billion yen, if the Yen is worth the same as 50 billion Yen then you get the same work done. Remind you I live in Britian, not America. Oh and Retech...How do you work out it is free? Does your company not pay wages, not have to buy raw materials and such? You confuse not making a profit with free...

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Or we could ignore reality and screw up the game...again.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
So basically your plan to combat rising prices is to make things worth less? That isn't going to work because wages also rise, its called balance. You going around printing money destroys that balance and so wages do not increase, meaning people get demotivated because they have done the same job with no real increase in money... In the real world the government stays out of the economy because it is self-correcting...Trying to help correct has almost always lead to it crashing. The amount of currency does not increasing(or should not increase) over time because the currency is not based on anything, it is just bits of paper or coinage. As the economy expands the currency is moved around more and there may be increases to the currency based on the country aquiring more Gold. Oh, as for the 'Can only trade 30 Billion internationally' do you think that might be a good thing? You know, not crashing your economy and all that. There is not a problem with the system, there is a problem with your premise....30 Billion is a massive figure.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Retech the economy is no where near as simple as 'Oh, problem, print money, solved  ' If you print money then people who have savings lose their savings because suddenly their money is worth less. As I believe I explained to you at the time. The balance of trade needs to be worked out then, since you can't just go 'Well that doesn't work so I am going to ignore reality and spend, spend, spend.'
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I don't think there is a hard and fast method of working out how much money you can spend...but usually you can spend all the money you want inside your own borders, since it will eventually come back to you in taxes. Course how long that will take is another matter. I would say work out how much money you get in taxes, then minus your healthcare, police and all the other domestic stuff from that, then put any of the surplus into a treasury and spend the treasury when you see fit...As long as your Treasure doesn't contain more than a 9th of your countries wealth you should be fine. (If you do your people will see their living standards start to decline because of cash flow problems) Spending money internationally is far more complicated, hence why I suggested using the Gold system. Foreign currencies are fine, as is silver. Things like 'Aid' must be exact amounts in Silver, Gold or Currency. Using your own currency will permenantly take the money out of your system, so your countries wealth will decrease. If people want me to help them work out their economic situation then do ask, every country is different so... Anyway Switzerland gets increasingly Anti-South Africa and so begins extracting Gold from the country and cuts aid to 2 Billion a year. It also SECRETLY sends in special operatives to put down the rebels and such. Switzerland spends 6 Billion a year on forcing South Africa to Industrialise...The situation is not pleasent and there is certainly no love lost between Switzerland and South Africa. Because of this happy event a number(4,000) of Swiss Volunteers depart for South Africa with the idea of 'fixing' the problems, by any means neccessary.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well my PPP is actually in decline, since most of my goods are being consumed internally, and my balance of trade makes something like half a million loss per year(now that I am looking after blasted South Africa)

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Switzerland's GDP is something like 2,474 Dollars per person, since I went to the Gold Standard. Though in this case only a few people are rich or poor...and typically the poor are the nambie pambe people who believe in human rights and other crap like that. The Rich, on the other hand, are bankers...and there arn't many of them...and there are always less of them. Industrially we are a power house, and morally and spiritually we think we are the most advanced. So actually we are very rich.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
