Yes they are meant to be random but what I'm saying is that you don't have to complete the action to get the random event. Also we all know that "random events" are primarily meant to stop autoers so its reason able to assume that the more repeated action that are done the better chance one has to get a random event. ThatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m saying. Normally it takes an avg of an hour of straight fishing, mining, or wood chopping in order to activate an event, but when I repeatedly click on trees without getting wood I got to tree sprits in the span of about 45 mins.

I only have evidence for clicking making random events happen faster for the events that center around fishing, mining, and chutting down trees. In other words getting trolls, tree spirts, and golems faster. I can't prove that clicking on more creatures will increase the apparance of old men and genies becuase clicking on a creature more then once doesn't appare to change or restart your attacking like clicking on a tree, rock, or fishing spot will make you restart that action. However, thats not to say clicking on a mob and then running and clicking on another one without killing them won't make those types happen faster. More research has to be done and with your help we can find out more about this. I tired it with giants recently and didn't notice any difference in attacking but thats not to say there wasn't because i was using a rune skimmy at the time. Perhaps with a slower weapon the difference will/may be noticed. More to come on this later ;)

why so you can pk without any consinquences? Thats selfish and aginst the entier concept of why the wilderness was first implemented.

No its not that hard to do it myself but its time comsuming when you are constantly taking items in and out of your like when a person is doing runecrafting.

While fighting black knights I accidentally clicked on a tree. I didn't have an ax on me hand and of course it said that I need an ax to cut down a tree. All this is standard but the odd thing is an ent appeared in the tree I clicked on which I thought to be odd since I didn't have an ax. So i tried a little expirement using trees: I took armor and an ax with me and start cutting down trees, but before cutting them down I clicked on a tree as much as possible without getting the logs. By doing so I was able to fight 2 tree spirts in the course of 10 mins. So heres my theory: If you want a random event such as fighting a tree spirt a troll, or a golem just click the object that triggers the event as much as possible with out the item that would procure you an item. Of course this is just a theroy and that brings me to the reason why i started this treed. I'm wonder if anyone else has had this happen to them and I want others to try it out if at all possible. Its just something that could prove to be useful to people wantin old men and genies to get items and exp if it proves to be ture, and of course if this is a problem then the tip.it community could always altert the jagex crew of it :)

if you are talking to me, no. I got it form ffxi which allows both "stalls" and an auction house, although the stalls is the character and you have to be log on inorder to sell the item, but in that game you can turn the atuo log-off option off.

I wouldn't say its morally wrong because the only reason they have an unfair advantage is because of the bigotry of men. Think about would people be more willing to be girls if girls weren't given things by guy on games. On your terms its just as morally wrong to be a guy that treats a female differently. Besides, it adds more verity to the game. Some people do it for the same reason why people who are white play as black characters on the game, to add verity. As for them making the women skinner, blame that on society. Yes I am a man.

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice if runescape had an auto sort option for banks just to get things orginized. It would be simple enough wouldn't it?

This would just lead to further problems. If it was added with POH people would make their character female, get married to someone and then clear out all the stuff in mate's house.

So you mean to tell me you actually care about other people's highscores? Don't mean to flame but whats the point of this? The high scores aren't based on lvl they are based on exp and adding a seperate scoring system for these lvl 99s wouldn't make any diffence becuase they'd still be higher than most characters and lower then the ones above them. I just don't see how this update is needed.

and that would be there fault. You couldn't possiblly call it a scame becuase nobody would expect someone to buy their tinderbox. But like I said and auction house would stop this since a person would be able to put in the price they want to spend on an item.

This wouldn't work for the simple fact that your user name is also you characters name. It would take way to much effort to be able to do this considering it is trvial matter to begin with.

I don't really think so. Faster is exactly what makes things easier. Isn't using a search engine to find a plumber faster than using a phone book? lpinkus True, but the thing is this would only make things easier if items were being sold. I hate to keep making infances to ffxi, but its the only mmorpg i've played with and auction house system and I don't see it making things any easier on that game because most items are bought as soon as they hit the AH. Lets look at it this way, the only people would sell lets say coal on the AH would be the same people doing it now, the only difference is they don't have to be on and they wouldn't have to or have the ability to sell their items to one person, benifiting many people instead of just a few who can buy 300 coal from one person. This would spred the wealth amoung many people, but everyones items would be bought eventually if they are in demand. So a person who wants to buy 1k coal would actually be able to, but then again they could in the first place anyways and coal is always being sold somewhere at some time. Yes things would be faster mayeb a little easier, but not on the extent of a walmart because walmart is cheap and this wouldn't be. Now that I think about it I don't know what i just proved whatever I hate it when that happens.

The orgininal system for pking was [developmentally delayed]ed for the simple fact that you could only change it 3 times. I don't know if this option should be added, but I understand where people are comming from and that if it where add the best way to do it would be as it is stated in this post. Maybe they should just add it for treasure trails that require you to go into the wilderness, but then again maybe you should just not take anything with you that way you aren't as appealing to people who wish to be annyoing because I find nothing more annoying then having to raise money to buy a new armour or weapons. I see what you are saying, but I don't see it being implemented.

Read your history, Homosexuality amoung men has been preveilent since the begining of written history. Now back on topic: Idea has been done in FFXI and is been implemented by players in the past back on rsc and on other games such as everquest. It is stuff like this that ruiens people's lives. Not only that what type of marriage ceromoney would be used. If you used anything in rl people may get offended that their reglion or pratice was left out. For theses reasons I don't agree for that a formal way to marry should ever be implemented in any game that is internationally played.

Well it wouldn't be hell hound, but maybe a dog, cat, and dragon like creatures. All though to add the races their have to be quest intorducing the new races into runescape. Thats why it might only be prtaical to add orger, goblin, elf, and dwarf to the game.

Partially to bump and to answer the last question. They have a soul transfer mage just like the make over-mage that would allow you to change races. That way no one would complain and everyone wouldn't have to start over to pick another race. It wouldn't be cheep, soul transferring is great task and hard to do. Most likely 10k per transfer and every time you do it..

In stead of showing more of the minin map it would show people with skulls on the minimap in a different color lets say orange. That way it doesn't take up to much time to develope. I mean they already show friends, items, other people, and monsters so adding this shouldn't take too long.

I did suggest this, but your idea of having the races affect stats doesn't fit into runescape. They got rid of all "jobs" or class numerous times in the game for god knows what reason. If you've done a search then you came across my idea and if you read it then you know that it would work much better with out penalities or add ons. Pehaps you should rethink it espically since most characters are all around. Yes I did read the ending statement still don't agree.

I agree, but the current mage armour should stay p2p. Maybe they should release an in between armour for both types of the game that requires only 10 or 15 magic and def instead of 20.
