i saw a lvl 100 begging, on this forum, he said he lost all his stuff by staking and that he needed "donations" to get his account running again. (not very smart staking all ur stuff anyway) he asked for free ores/bars/raw food/logs/free money and more, telling people he needed it to get 4 stats to 90, and when i told him i was surprised that a lvl 100 was still begging he called me a noob, and he told me to "fauk off and leave my thread with your level 50 combat stats, newb" excuse me?? i might have crappy stats but atleast im not the one begging. and the thing that surprised me was: PEOPLE WERE GIVING HIM THE STUFF!! PS: i cannot post his name here cuz ill get banned but if u want to know PM me and ill tell you.

i think the reason that the game room is not exactly popular is that there are no popular games. if JAGeX would add chess, and card games, that problem would be solved (i think).

yes, in high level F2P they are a bit underpowered, but they are EXTREMELY overpowered in high lvl P2P (ice barrage, anyone?) if this would be implemented those high lvl mages would be totally indestructible. what i would suggest to high lvl F2P mages is to give them the wave spells and the snare (perhaps entangle too) spell. and i really do think that for all lower level spells, the max damage must be cut in half.

I agree with you, but I must point out that people under 15 are not a "race," nor are they a minority. The phrase you were looking for was "age discrmination." Still, I do hate all people younger than 15 :) Call me an age discriminationist if you will. Cool idea! i like chess, finally a GOOD game in that games room. and i also like the idea of staking a full rune on a game of chess. and card games would be cool too, i would love to sit on a large round table playing poker with my friends!

no, F2P mages can make only elemental runes, and a self-respecting mage would use fire blast, and it is impossible (even for P2P mages) to make deaths, and rangers get their arrows back. it is WAAAY more expensive to use maging than to range. and about smithing, the only way, and i mean the ONLY way, to get to smithing rune by buying your bars/ores and smithing them into stuff, without losing LARGE amounts of money (and i thought non combat skills were ment to earn money), is by making cannon balls, and guess what, thats P2P.

isnt there a 100 people limit (200 for members) on the ignore list?? just as with the friend list?? but lpinkus, begging is not allowed on JAGeX forums, so why should it be allowed ingame??

yes, it would be much better if people could just be nice to each other. i think the first step in the right direction for JAGeX would be to make begging a reportable offense (come on, dont we all hate the little sentence "phr33 st00f pl0x!!11!!!!11!!!!1!!!!!11!!1"???), (with a punishment of being muted for a week or something, nothing too serious) because when a beggar annoys someone, that person gets a bit grumpy, and will probably cuss the beggar/log out/take him to a place with high lvl monster (my personal favorite)/ and other stuff like that. if begging would be against rules, it would stop fairly quickly, and people will be nicer to eachother, i think.

Mages are already EXTREMELY overpowered! they do NOT need to be totally invinceble. mages can easily 3 hit warriors AND rangers in lower lvls. mages are totally indestructible when using ancient spells. THEY ARE STRONG ENOUGH ALREADY!!

J/K" I really, really hope y'all know what "J/K" means by now. If not, um, I was just kidding. That's in response to the "I'm not immature just because I'm younger than 15" comments. Also, I do help out with spelling and grammar, but I really never mean any harm. Lord Mujis, I'm a college teacher (really), and I'm often disturbed by the English skills of some students these days, and these are people whose first language is English. So, I hope you didn't take offense at my post. I also wanted to make that clarification because racism is a serious charge, probably more serious than age discrimination, so I didn't want the thread to drift there :) And yes, I wish people were more courteous on Runescape. The other day a new member (lvl 40 or so) asked me to help with the Observatory Quest and getting his symbol blessed. Now, I admit that when he said "Can you take me there, plz?," I said I was busy. However, I did tell him he could ask me any questions. So, as I fished for the next hour or so, he PMed me and I helped him finish the quest and get the symbol blessed. And, thankfully, he then said "ty" and didn't even ask for a free dragon weapon. So, courtesy does happen :) lpinkus nah, i didnt take any offense at your post, i just wanted to point out that the racism part was a mistake, and i really do know the difference between racism and age discrimination, still, its both discrimination. i do not like someone blaming all rudeness and begging on "people under the age of 15" because that is just plain not true. there are some people, both under and over the age of 15, that are rude, but with both, the majority are very nice people. it also surprises me that people seem to think that all younger people are beggars/scammers/rude for your information, as i already said, i am 14, and i have NEVER begged. NEVER, i HATE it when people follow you (phr33 r00n pl0x?) which is why i dont do it, and a lot of younger people dont do it. some of you people are basing the majority on the minority. and thats unfair. well, wallyweams clearly said that all people under 15 years old are immature brats. since i am 14 (and unless i am very much mistaking that means under the age of 15) i take that as an insult. no, its not kids in general, you are talking about a minority of kids who ruin it for the majority.

dude, this is a bad idea. a mage can 3 hit a warrior or ranger in the lower lvls with ease, thats just not fair already, if there is anything JAGeX should do with mages, it is to give them a downgrade. think about it, a mage has a max hit of 8 at the magic lvl of 13, something a warrior would only acheive at about lvl 30 strenght, and a ranger would get it at about lvl 45-50 ranged. with all the lower level spells the max damage must be cut in half, IMO. and just imagine the total ownage of a mage using ice barrage, and using a defensive bubble at the same time?? even waaay higher leveled warriors get owned by those mages now, if they can finally get close to the mage they hit a 0?? thats just plain unfair. mid lvl F2P mages are a tad underpowered, wich is why i would suggest giving them snare, and perhaps the wave spells.

maybe you would need lvl 99 strenght too, you know, to carry them LOOK!! im going to pk and im gonna take a super set, and 25 whales with me!! i am the l33t weightlifter!!! I'm sorry but it's not gonna happens But all whales (raw and "whales") takes 35kg erm dude, whales weigh a little more than that. id say about 5000 or 6000 times more. this would just not make sense. you cant cram a whale in your backpack, no matter how hard you try, let alone 25 whales.
