But even so the armor would be useless on f2p servers. So it does not benefit the combat triangle on f2p whatsoever. So that makes your post kinda pointless. #-o Jagex already screwed up the old style by adding in better bows, arrows, and ranger armor. They might as well give at least a little something to the mages, too.

Bones, you seem to miss the point over and over again. This is not just a f2p update. This will benefit everyone. Including all us members who want to invite f2p friends to our houses. But you can't seem to look past the fact that f2pers are involved in this update that your anti-f2p bias is clouding your judgement. Many members will benefit from this but all you care is "f2p don't deserve anything". :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Anyways... Back on topic. I think this idea would work great with the clan hall idea. Whenever Jagex decides to ever release a clan function. You could designate your house to a clan hall. :thumbsup:

I think 1 update every 2 months for f2p would be fair. Inlcuding some updates members got a long time ago(like stated before).

You do know membership isn't permanent, right? When members aren't actively paying they're f2p again. They have to deal with smaller banks, but now with members items. I don;t call it "pity" I call it sympathising. When I quit members I realize how freaking tiny the f2p bank is. Not to mention former members have to deal with the tiny bank all over again, but with members items as well to deal with. I think 1/10 is extremely low for members who want more free bank space. Instead of spending the money on updates, they pocket the rest of the money to themselves.

They make enough to profit from the f2p servers and constantly promote their members version. After 2 months, no. I've played RS since before members version existed. And after it came out it was about 8 months before I even put up my first $5. If they cut me off after 2 months, I probably would have quit. It's your opinion. So it must be true! :roll: Them being "leeches" is also only your opinion. f2p does help the game. And this "higher conversion rate" makes no sense. You seem to completely ignore the fact that f2p makes money from ads. If they did that I probably wouldn't have paid for members and quit Runescape all together after the 2 months. And Jagex wouldn't have seen a cent of my money. Cutting off potential members as well as constant ad revenue would definitely not be smarter. In fact. It would be very stupid. My thoughts exactly. Whats the point of buying members for the capes if they can't be used on f2p?? Jagex had a good idea with these capes. It's just too bad they implemented them wrong.

You probably need to hang out with a better class of person. Whats that supposed to mean? Almost everyone I know didn't become members after only 2 months(myself included). And some waited years before they bought members, and their perfectly good people. I just wonder what "class of person" you think others should hang out with. :roll: If Jagex did limit f2p like that it would well possibly ruin Runescape. I would hardly consider that "smarter".
