I support too. This game has the worst censor filters of any game I've played. Really stupid decision of Jagex.

I don't know of any MMOs that have demos that short. Besides, there are a lot of MMOs that have the whole game for free(Maple Story). This topic is about quests.... :?

With enough support nothings impossible. If your going to post here you might as well support the idea. Even if it probably won't work, its better than doing nothing about it. Anyways, it's not begging. It's suggesting. Currently, no it's not. And yes I can. :P Oh yeah, and.... 1,000 posts!

Actually, after the membership is over your bank space problems would be even worse. So there would be even more reasons to complain. #-o

I feel your pain. I went though that a number of times already. And now I'm a member all over again. I might try the at least 2+ of every item trick. But the problem with that is that I would never be able to take out my santa hat or blue mask without being unable to put them back in the bank on f2p(since its almost impossble to buy extras of those in the game with the money I make).

They should waste their time on f2p because f2p is a big part of the game. And they deserve to get more updates once in a while, too. IMO f2p should get updates once a month. As opposed to members updates every week.

I'd stop playing. Not much use playing a dieing MMO. When did they say that? Keeping the money to themselves instead of improving the game... Yeah, I guess that's something Jagex would do. Not exactly the smartest thing, though.

Spoiled? i doubt that, Parents don't have to be "multi-million dollar rich lunatics" to afford $5 a month it's not that much. And i don't get the membership all free like my parent's pay for it and i just play Runescape Non stop, i have to help out around the house and do lot's of job's. And if my parents were "multi-million dollar rich lunatics" then i would be playing world of warcraft for $30 a month. that's like $360 a year. WoW is $15 a month.

It seems illogical that f2p has yews but no maple trees. Jagex should just implement some maple trees somewheres already.

Without F2P, runescape loses its population without new members joining. It dies. Jagex goes bankrupt. End-o-story. With F2P people get a chance to try it out, see if they like it, if not they quit, Jagex barely notices. If they like it, they continue, most eventually buying a membership. Those that don't contribute to the income through ads. Either way, Jagex gets money, even if it is a little less than members provide. What did he say wrong? Are you saying that the statement "If parents won't let them pay, it isn't JAGeX's fault" is false? So... does JAGeX have to BEG parents to let their kids pay for membership? As for F2P is lucky to get a free version, yes; F2P is lucky. No one is denying that F2P holds quite an importance in Runescape, but neither can you deny that it is lucky that Runescape has an F2P version. Remember, most other MMORPGs of any sufficient quality are not free at all. However, even if we agree F2P holds quite some importance, explain to me why this justifies F2P getting updates. Do you really think F2P getting more stuff will attract more people? I doubt it. People don't just play F2P and immediately see all that it has to offer: it is a gradual process. And those who are able to pay for membership would generally be convinced to get it before they have finished through all the contents of F2P. Giving more stuff to F2P will not increase in influx of members by much, although some bitter members may leave. There is nothing in it for JAGeX except for kindness, so it is highly unlikely they would update F2P to any great degree. If you read my post, I mention nothing about parental permission. I was simply showing why we are not LUCKY we get to play for free. Look at what you are typing. So we are seriously NOT lucky to be able to play Runescape for free? What would your definition of lucky be then? Having JAGeX release the game totally free, in one huge selfless act? Don't you think that is a bit greedy, not to mention selfish, of you? This is how I interpreted your comments. If your meaning is not as I suggested, please explain deeper. I fail to see why the fact that the members population is reliant on the free population makes F2Pers "not lucky" to be able to play this game for free, unless you mean it is deserved. I think you're a little slow on the uptake. I believe what he means is Jagex keeps f2p for a reason. Without the f2p player base Runescape would not be nearly as successful and thus not make nearly as much money. f2p players being "lucky" has nothing to do with it. And all you seem to be doing is constantly be putting this luck factor in the argument. If f2p did not contribute to the game Jagex would probably just do away with it. Since they only seem to care about making money.

F2P needs bank space more than anything right now.

Strange. F2P bank space was one of the reasons I did not renew my membership. What use is getting all this bank space just so it will go away in a month? Not to mention being stuck with members items in the f2p bank.

Oh come on now. There's already petitions for other things. Adding more bank space wont change a thing (except make less petitions for bank space). The whole domino effect argument thing fails. I guess I'm part of the 2-5%. :) Although I'm sure the number of members who want it is much higher.

I never even wore granite armor when I played members. But anyways. I'm fine with this idea. :thumbsup:

Sounds like a good idea to me. The chaos alter isn't used that much in members anyways. Then just change it so chaos runes can be made with regular ess. God, pure ess is one of the stupidest ideas Jagex ever came up with. :x
