Honestly, hundreds of years ago people would have to walk to the market and stand there all day selling their items, it was part of life and people accepted it. God didn't 'update' his creation because people didn't want to put up with part of life. jagex shouldn't have either. He could still have walked into champs guild and bought rune long instead of standing 3 hours at varrock server 1. So how is his post so laughable? The future of Runescape Classic Everybody has the same chance as everybody else.. training will be faster than rs2 (for instance 10 times the xp per monster while training). There won't be any autoing, because it's not possible (sad that a few programmers can set up unstoppable defences while Jagex... can't). You'll be able to see your ID, along with everybody elses. There will be 1 server, and it will be dominated with pking and staking. This way, everybody gets their way. The wanna-be-mods of Rsc can play through the legit client and report everybody within sight, while the rest of us can enjoy the game as it gets brought back to it's glory days. lmao you have no idea what private servers are about.... for one thing training will not be 10x faster you dolt. no idea :s.. I know I started 1 of each but my first character was a warrior I do believe.

I started in aug or sep 2001, I only know I was very close to turning 13 (sep 12) and I am now about to turn 19 and going to college a&m :P... I quit rs whenever rs2 came out though so I haven't played in quite some time.

the level restrictions on armor were added a long time ago and throughout basically all of rsc you had to be 40 def for rune... and pures werent unfair if you ask me.. I was a pure in the 80s and I sometimes got tore up by impures who were actually smart enough to use magic against me (whether it be weakens or blasts or both)... and yah... the fighting system was 100x better than the rs2 one.. because you actually had to do something instead of bind and shoot.. or attack and automatically follow.... bah

pking always was the best part about classic.. and I hear it sucks nowadays so if you think it is good now you shoulda seen when it was actually good... '03 ftw

It depends on your perspective, do you judge who won a war by who actually won the war, or on the terms of Kuku Bananas? You will no doubt say that MI was more skilled blah blah blah :roll: In the revolutionary war, the British were FAR superior to the Americans in EVERY way, so I suppose that Britain won that war as well? :roll: Britain probably would have taken over America if they had the ability to "respawn" when they died... RSD controlled the altar sure, good job, that is because no one in MI really even needed to go there. Do you think MI came to control the altar? no.. it was to get kills. And I can assure you that if once a member of RSD (and MI) died they could not come back MI would have controlled the altar anyway... I think I died maybe 2 or 3 times in that war all at the end when I stopped caring. And by the way, I was a mid-high level 80s pure and it certainly did not take me a week to get my stats. Also, I was not jumping on any bandwagon.. I hinted towards a lot of stuff Adx talked about, he just elaborated alot more.
