yeh thats good news, i did see a video when mod hulme was bot busting on some free worlds with his "chicken of justice" it was funny lol.

but now there are more gold farmers in the member worlds, before they focused on the free to play worlds. :roll:

Hi all, I've noticed that the gold farmers are now slowly appearing on the member worlds infact there everywhere. As you are probably aware jagex announced on the front page about updating there methods to detect bots and to eliminate them from the game, at the moment were not seeing any evidence of that already its affecting gameplay for the many people who play the game without any intent to break the rules. Everywhere you go bots are there either chopping away at the yew trees or fishing in catherby to buying all the death runes at the shops in runescape, as i said this is greatly affecting game play, It would be nice if jagex made a update post to this problem as it appears to be getting worse all the time. you can tell there bots with names like ying yang etc and they are always level 3 so they stand out like a sore thumb. Solution A possible solution would be to increase the amount of random events on the level 3's in the game if jagex did this it might make these bots go away as they would have to train up there combat just to get rid of some of the random events they receive to begin leveling there woodcutting/fishing skills up to purposly cut trees to make real life money with. thanks for reading

I was at the yew trees behind varrack castle last night reporting them using the report abuse tool, I've also contacted jagex of this growing problem but i doubt if there is anything they can do to stop autoers. perhaps more random events in that area would work as when a random event did appear they all seemed to type a full stop, it was weird

mod mark used to talk to me but i took a break for sometime and when i resumed playing runescape around 3 months later it seems he forgot about me :( I also used to talk to mod daniel but he left the company sometime ago, i'll try adding a few and see what response i get next time i see them pop on.

hmm thats interesting as paul always has his pm off to the rest of runescape, do you know him personally ?
