You can post achievements in the "Rate This" forum and you can host images at http://www.imageshack.us/. I dont know if their still is but their used to be a whole sticky on it in the "Help & Advice" forum.

Look at the random event guide in the general forum. It explains everything that makes you more likely to get an event.
