  1. I agree, I think we should be allowed to train our pures with trade, I mean just because it's the same person it is a different person as far as Runescape goes. Enough said.
  2. Nope, f2p. Nothing different to how I used to mine. I was wearing Frog Prince hat and leggings though. I doubt that'll make a difference, but you never know...
  3. Maybe also because if people said Di.ck Turpentine it would be bleeped.
  4. I am finding that I'm getting uncut gems VERY often now. Nearly every trip to the mine. I mine coal, just started with mith, and a bit of gold if I find a gem so I can craft it into an ammy or something. It is mostly sapphs (half the time), quite a few emmys, and one or two rubies, but no diamonds yet. :( I'm not complaining though, since my crafting levels are doing great. Are they more frequent because of a recent update, or because my mining levels are getting higher?
  5. Kudos, that was a very funny thread. Noob PKers... Made me laugh out loud several times. Making a n00b seems more rewarding now, I think. Looks a lot of fun. Problem is I'd be low on funds :? maybe making a mage would be too much hard work for me, I'm happy with my (still fairly nooby) level 61 warrior :) Some people ought to listen, the guy who followed you seems really persistent. I am quite surprised the extent of his persistence, in fact. Why people don't see the world map button is beyond me. See how low a level you can beat Elvarg at :D would be interesting.
  6. Interesting, I may have to say my passion, cooking, as long as I don't need to make flour. I like to go to the guild and rustle up whatever takes my fancy, then eat it or put it in my bank if I'm making it in bulk. Fishing and cooking the fish in Karamja can be fun if there are some cool people there! :D But normally I Alt+Tab to the forums or something.
  7. I flit about all over Runescape (except the wilderness). I think that it may JUST ABOUT be Varrock, because I mine rune ess quite a bit and also love the chef's guild which I am rarely away from when it comes to cooking. However I don't even stay in a particular spot for one skill, right now I'm going from Draynor Bank (Aggie's cheese respawn) and the stove in Port Sarim. This has all the ingredients for anchovy pizzas nearby (except bases which I did at the guild). Also my cheese + tomato gathering slave is offline for some reason. :( I was gonna pay him full black for 100 cheese + tomato. XD Ah well he lost that chance. [/off topic]
  8. I'm still going what. It is highly unlikely it was named after the song imo. http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=schism&gwp=13 If it was it'd be a pretty obscure and oblique reference.
  9. I found this 5 minutes agowhen I examined a rat that I thought was a bird (or something...). I was informed that it was "a popular dwarven delicacy", which I am rather sure is a homage to the dwarves of the Discworld series!
  10. http://thefifthdistrict.com/potter/ Worst ripoff of a flash movie ever. :( I hate that book
  11. How about this :? . Quote there kinda explains it all, guy commited suicide after overhearing a spoiler at the mall. Here's the article: http://www.yubanet.com/artman/publish/a ... 2620.shtml You really need to check your sources better. The guy who wrote the article "writes a daily humor column at http://www.borowitzreport.com". It comes from a comedy website. And just read the article: If you can read that and take it seriously, you have no sense of humour. Of course, if the guy was real, then he was bit of an idiot. What was he gonna do with his life once he'd finished the book? Sit around in front of the computer for 4 years waiting for the next one? I highly doubt that's real. Well... I certainly feel like laughing. He'll never know what happens in the end anyway. I don't really see the point of suicide in a situation where you found out a little of the book on which your life depends. Actually that sounds a bit stupid now I've read it. Hey, well. I don't even like Harry Potter.
  12. Yeah that would work :P I assume that you haven't read it and have recently decided to be anti-HP, like me. I only bothered reading this to see what happened and I didn't really find out... well, I did a bit. And I know what it means a bit since I read the other 5. ANYWAY I'm overthrowing HP. Huzzah! Discworld p0wnzorz all other books anyway.
  13. Sorry I've revived this topic (hey, I was on holiday...), but um, yeah, what are your secrets Runesmithie?! I couldn't even get off the stage so I don't know how you managed that. I also didn't think you could get two people in it! What do I know? Nice pics.
  14. Whoa! When I got my mime as a noob i only noticed a) i was on a strange stage and B) I couldn't get off. I didn't pay much attention to anything, even the mime, for a couple of minutes, then I figured it out.
  15. I don't think this is true. I think that if you ignore him he teles you to Lumbridge Castle Basement.
  16. In general, the gist of this thread is that it wasn't nearly as good as the books, and I agree, but I think the film is better than most of you say. I liked Zaphod even though his heads and arms were a bit messed up. I liked the random probability thing... can't remember the name exactly even though i read the books... ; Ford and Arthur as sofas and wollen dolls. I doubt Douglas Adams would have wanted the Point of View gun and the Vogons' main part in the film included. There were, however, some well-adapted scenes which did make me laugh, and even remember the bits in the book I forgot before which was nice.
  17. i was hoping for a mime one time when MOM appeared. I didnt talk to him (I assum thats how u get a mime??).... He teled me (like i thought he would) to downstairs lumbridge castle. Some noob was walking around saying he needed sausage (huh??), then he saw me appear. He thought i was like the coolest person ever cuz i teleported to him   . But the bad thing is he followed me *ALL* around until i went to varrock, then he went straight to a lvl 90 who led the lvl 3 into the wildy. Some other lvl 4 dude killed him then =) :D     DAMN! That must be how I ended up in Lumbridge basement while I was alt - tabbing between tip it and RS2. Aw, I could have got something free.
  18. I'm gonna try that. By the way I got mine killing a couple of Prince Ali's guards. I didn't kill many but I got teled anyway.
  19. Umm I think I understand. I doubt you shecked through checked through what you wrote. :)
  20. Usually he gives you one of those little 'puzzle' boxes, basically, a 2 year old could do them, (what is the red shape?), they are way too easy, unless of course you are colourblind.
  21. It will never surpass the books, I've not seen it yet, though I want to.
  22. Wibbliest. The one who can wibble the best. Ivegotnoteef. For the mysterious old man. El Scorcho3! No, I'm just joking. It is a Weezer song and spanish for fire. Chavhunter1. That one will probably be taken. Unbesiegbar0. German for invincible! Big chinny. If you have a large chin. Kill popups. Everyone hates popups! Oh plugs. First thing i thought of. MortStoHelit. From the Discworld. Ahahaha Noob. Also, everyone hates noobs! Wobbliest. The one who can wobble the best. I checked and all of these are valid in runescape.
  23. It is what you would be able to do in real life, and the real reason is that it looks better I guess. It would stop members swarming f2p with "Giant coloured gloves sale! 2K per item!! Hit 666!!!" which is a perk.
  24. OK I think you should be able to dye all material... leather, capes, skirts, aprons etc. That at least makes sense. I don't think we should make our own dyes though, it is too easy. I do think that that's a good idea except armour dye-ing!
  25. Wow, I never realised. I should protest to Jagex to give me free membership with ads so that they won't lose money. Do you reckon I have a case? lol. And to everyone saying p2p would be overrun with noobs, my idea was that not everyone would get their free trial on the same day, and it is only available to high levels. I am only going to become p2p when I get a good level. Noobs are annoying in p2p and if memers are used to a world without them, fair enough, because they pay! I think it is funny that all the f2p would love this day, and the p2p would dread it!
