As i said, it DOES increase the chance BUT it's only a very small chance.

Runescape officially say it will increase your chance of a rare drop, but that chance is VERY small. I just prefer to use zerker/warrior.

Since coming back into the game and reading through forums and such what not i decided that i would trainy slayer up to 85 and all the levels gained in combat would be used for GWD, DK, KQ and other such things. Basically i was just wondering what is the average required levels for the afore mentioned monsters to hunt. Cheers in advance ;)

Very good, simple and easy to read! When ranging for slayer assignments i usually use 2/3 range potions to speed up kills.

Is it REALLY worth getting doing the quest to get use of proselyte for certain tasks? Or can i stick with the ol' faithful monks robes?

Excactly the same problem as me. I guess over time you can gain more friends. I sometimes get annoyed i removed some of my old friends.

Since i started playing again I've gained 4 friends in 6 months. (Removed all my old friends, so that is all i have :() People are alot less friendly these days. My guess is it has something to do with the number of people who play now.
