The following is an expansion to the planned carpentry skill, and is a game in itself. Player owned ships (sea ships that is). Buidling your ship: there are four types of ships. Lifeboats, sailboats, galleons, and frigates. They can also be build out of the six types of wood, and the wood must be cut into planks with a knife using the carpentry skill. Each type of wood also requires a certain type of nail. Normal, oak, and willow need steel or better, maple needs mithiril or better, yew needs adamant or better, and magic needs rune. The type of nail does not influence the ships strength, so use the lowest possible nail. All ships except lifeboats also need linen for the sails. Lifeboats need oars, which are made out of oak logs, also made using the carpentry skill. Where ships are built: Ships are built at another shipyard on the northern coast of members land. Speak to the foreman, and tell him which type of ship you want built. You must provide him with the necessary materials, which would be quite a lot. In addition, you need to pay a certain amount of money to have the ship built. Ships take time to build, and you can only have one ship built at a time. Lifeboats take 6 hours, sailboats take one day, galleons take one week, and frigates takes two weeks. Upon your request, the foreman will give you a receipt. DONÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢T LOOSE IT! After the allotted time has passed, you can turn in the receipt in exchange for the deed to the ship. Again, do not loose this. You cannot board your ship without the deed. The deedÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s title will include the ships class and what material it is made out of. After you board a galleon or frigate, you might also notice that there are several ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâlifeboatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ spaces. Four on galleons, eight on frigates. You may use the deed to a lifeboat here, and the lifeboat will be added to your ship. You must have the deed to the ship you are on in your inventory to add the lifeboat to it. This will also update the shipÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s deed with little parentheses saying, for example, (mglb1). This means that the ship has one magicwood lifeboat on it. An example of the deed to a frigate with four yew lifeboats and four magic ones would look like this: ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅMagicwood frigate (ywlb4)(mwlb4)ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
