  1. I lie about my stats all the time... well only if you consider it a lie saying you're level 51 for example while you're only level 50 with almost enough exp for level 51. I don't go saying I'm level 90 strength when in reality i'm only level 75. Somthing like that would make you look like a noob. One question about the first unwritten rule... what if there is more than one runner present each with their own supply of essence? If one runs out and he dosen't know it is it stealing to continue grabbing ess?
  2. I'd buy 2 sets of full dragon and whips, full guthan, dhorak, and veracs, ranger boots and robin, blue partyhat, and full black mystic. Then I'd use it to get my c bow recharge down to 180k, then I'd get my ranged, mage, and all other combat skills to 99, then most other skills, then I'd use it to buy a big stockpile of rune armour, rune scimmies, dragon weapons, black and green hide armour, maple and magic shorts, addy and rune arrows, prayer potions, super sets, runes, and lots of swordies and sharks for all of my F2P and P2P clan PKing trips. The above would all be very nice things to have, but lets face reality, not many people have a billion gold, and i'm certainly not one of them
  3. Nope, wouldn't shut most beggars up for one simple reason; just like neopets (yes I used to play it, when i was 10...) everybody would donate nothing but junk that not even a noob could use. And most beggars are after free abbysal whips, million golds ect
  4. Looking at your post I'd say this idea isn't very well thought out... and how exactly would this be a skill? The more of a certain monster you kill, the more exp you get, and the higher level you are, the tougher monsters you can hit? Hmm, sounds awfully familiar... Slayer duuuuh.
  5. Healing spells would render food useless. I would much rather have a ton of stackable runes to heal with instead of food. Perhaps I could use the empty space left by the food for an inventory full of prayer potions and super sets? I at level 87 could probally solo the KQ with somthing like this :?
  6. Wth? :? Anyway, chemistry might be an interesting alternative to herblore. IRL, herbal medicines and tonics tend to be a bit less effective than snythetic ones, but herbal medicines tend to have less side-effects. Therefore, mabye with this skill you could make somthing similar to steroids - eg: Somthing that gives you a 50% strength bonus; but mabye like a 60% attack decrease; which could be countered with a few doses of stat restore. I agree with apinagez though (for once...) in that there are many other, better ideas out there that would help RuneScape much more than this would. Sadly, most haven't even been looked at. It would be nice if Jagex would look at theese ideas and impliment some of them instead of contiuing on releasing all of theese dissapointing updates, like the recent Shadow of the Storm quest.
  7. Well you can't run before you can walk, can you? Just like that, you can't have engineering before you have carpentry. Why? Carpentry involves simple building principles; as used in small objects like chairs, benches excetra, and mabye small houses; while engineering has more application in things like commercial buildings. Furthermore, I don't think somthing like engineering would be all that useful to the game of RuneScape, and I don't think Jagex could realisticly release somthing like that.
  8. Don't bee to surprised... "Selling dragon longsword 100k!" "Selling dragon scimitar 110k!" "Selling dragon battleaxe 200k!" And... "Selling dragon medium helmet 1100k!" Last time I checked, longswords, scimitars, and battleaxes were always higher on the smithing table than medium helmets... yet meds are way more expensive due to jagex blowing it out of proportion. Its the other way around with barrows; weapons are more expensive while the armour is cheaper (even though its better than dragon). You see a lot of 'OMG BARROWS *insert chest piece name*!'. Not a lot of weapons though.
  9. I don't think there will ever be a world like this seeing how the dagganoths are fairly similar to KQ and KBD whose rule is, just get a group together, or find one, and go.
  10. With mud staff it's like 5gp/24xp, if you get your body runes from the magic store.
  11. OMFG I want one so bad right now... you can cast as many curse spells as you want as long as you have cheap body runes with that staff, and when combined with full armour + d vampz, that means really really easy mage training :D
  12. I don't know about you, but I have wanted to sell my members stuff, but my members credit ran out. I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I think it would be realisitc. Instead of making members items on free worlds say simply 'members object', for example, a dragon longsword on an F2P server would show as 'dragon longsword (m)', the (m) to show that it's a members object. members items that are untradable in a members server would show as 'members object' like always. even though some of the members items would be tradable on free worlds, they would be completely useless. you can't equip them if they're otherwise equippable, and you can't make anything with members items on f2p servers. if you equip a members weapoon on a p2p server and switch to f2p, it will be equipped, but it will still be useless as always. This would be a nice way to help ex members sell their members items, and this would also allow free players to buy member objects before their membership is activated so they can keep it in their bank until that time. to warn free players that they are trading for a members object; on free worlds, when those items are being traded, a warning will appear above the accept button and below the item screen.
  13. In this Idea they can't telly 10 seconds after the battle starts. They can't telly at all during a PVP battle, and they can't telly 10 seconds after the battle ends either, which is either when they die, or run away. On another note, I'd just like to say that my sig does not at all promote the use of teleporting. Sure I said I have the right to do it because it's legal, it dosen't mean I agree with it. As long as it's legal, I'm going to use it to the full because so does everyone else 8) And the picture sig simply says that you shouldn't whine like a little noob when people do it. No I'm not whining like a little noob in this thread about it, I'm trying to put a stop to it. So are you like some pjer that likes screwing people over once they get a kill? You are whining by even creating this thread. This thread completely screws over abyss crafters, seeing as theyd more or less be killed automatically, if a person even kicks them. Magic is hard enough to avoid when runecrafting as it is, and most can barely survive 10 seconds, then not being able to tele for another 10 seconds. It just isnt fair. How am I whining? I don't even PK  I do think it's a good point about the abyss thing though. They're skulled when they craft there.

  15. x2 Like I said in the beginning of my post, I'm not a big fan of the honor crap. But, I still think you shouldn't be able to teleport in the middle of battle like that. I never said you wouldn't be able to teleport at all.
  16. As my sig suggests, I'm not too big a fan of all this honor crap. I don't really think its really that bad if someone prays because pretty much everybody can. Even though everybody can teleport as well, I still find it really cheap. Just today, I was trying to charge my zammy flames. Some ranger was heading towards me, and I loggged. When I came back on, I was in falador with three items *insert some pretty bad language here*. I was mad. But then I got to thinking, if I can't log even when I haven't been attacked yet, why the hell should others be able to teleport in the middle of battle in lower wilderness? Therefore, I propose a quick fix to all of this. Make it to where you can't teleport during or 10 seconds after a PVP battle, similar to properly logging out. The reason I'm not applying this to PVM is because many people would still like to escape from a particularly tough monster when they're getting owned. EDIT: Better yet, apply the above rule to people that are skulled. This protects people that just want to go into the wilderness to hunt greens ect. Thoughts?
  17. I'm sorry, but the engine used to make Runescape just dosen't allow for a full 3D game. If RuneScape was to go completely 3D, then it couldn't be played in a browser window, it'd need a client. Seriously, you've got to hand it to Jagex for actually being able to create somthing this good with Javascript. It would be nice if Runescape were 3D. PKing would be so much cooler, comparable to CounterStrike... :D If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about actually being able to sneak up behind your opponent... and being able to hide from them behind a tree or somthing. Ahh, it would be nice, but it'll never happen.
  18. Those boots don't look useless... Around the same stats as rune boots, aren't they? And about 300k cheaper. I agree. I only wear my rune boots in occasions where I can't loose them. However, an easily replacible item like that would be nice to wear PKing. And when I say easily replacible, I mean HELLA easy. For godsake, you can spawn at white knights castle if you've done that quest, run to the bank which is nearby, run back, and buy more.
  19. If you ARE invisible to other players, go PKing with it  Nah once you skull they'll be able to make your position. Oh well, have some fun scaring noobs on F2P. They'll be like '0|\/|fg$0r$ t3h 1|\|\/1$1b|3 |\/|@|\|!!!'.
  20. Not even close. Remember, I said attack/defense negitive bonueses for mage be REVERSED. That means you would get owned by another mage, since he has armour that defends against magic, and you have armour that is very weak to magic.
  21. Like i said, that's because melee's magic defense isn't low enough. It needs to be lowered, SIGNIFICANTLY. I can wear god cape and drav vamps along with rune platebody, zam book, rune legs, warror helm, rune boots, and have a +8 magic defense.
  22. Yeah, I know they would. Meleers are supposed to die against mages, yet they wear d hides and own the mages. And, meleers are supposed to beat ranged, yet rangers in mage armour can entangle them and range them, and do a few spells, too. I agree, you could lower the defenses on h hides, and furthermore, you could add negitive ranged effects to wearing mage armour. Either one needs to happen, that's for sure. But I like the idea of just leaving everything alone and modifiying melee armour, so you would have a better foundation for melee-mage pures, melee-range pures, and range-mage pures.
  23. I would first like to point out that melee players can use ranged armour without any disadvantages, and they can also use ranged. This makes a range-melee pure very useful. BUT, they are weak to meleers, because a normal melee PKer or pure would have a much better defense, so the Range-Meleer couldn't use range so effectively, and his defenses would be sliced through. The same thing goes for range-mages. They wear mage armour and use a bow and arrow, and they can entangle or ice their opponent and range them to death, without any ranged disadvantages. But, they are weak to ranged PKers or pures, because their arrows would easy penetrate the range-mage's defenses. However, I see somthing imbalanced in the PKing triangle. That is, meleers aren't that weak to magic attacks, yet they can't use magic worth a darn. Honesty, if I can use my zammy cape with dragon vamps in melee armour and have a + magic defense when meleers are supposed to be very weak to magic, somthing needs to be changed. God forbid, I even easily defeated a saradomin mage like that. So, I propose that the magic attack negitive on melee armour be GREATLY reduced, mabye to -10 with full, and coupled with a staff and other magic enhancing items, can get to +40 or higher. But, I also propose that the negitive magic DEFENSE, be greatly INCREASED. That way if a mage was wearing melee armour therefore owning the melee class, they would get owned by other mages due to their horribly bad magic defense. There is one common factor in all of theese melee-mage, melee-range, and range-mage classes, they can't use both of their methods as effecivly, it all depends on what type of armour they are wearing. Range meleers could use ranged as well if wearing melee armour, and they wouldn't survive as easily in ranged armour in a close up melee fight. Range mages if wearing ranged armour couldn't use magic as effectively, and wearing mage armour they wouldn't get any ranged bonuses from their armour. Mage meleers coulnd't use magic as effectively in melee armour, and they also would get beat up pretty badly if wearing mage armour. So do you guys agree that melee armor's magic attack/defense negitives should be reversed? I think it would better balance the triangle, so mages would have a better chance against those cheap melee dudes wearing ranged armour... Discuss :)
  24. Wow, I hope this is made up, else....   Market prices is 600k, would have saved you lots of trouble, and you could have just bought a full set from the dwarf for 750k. And, easier to look up how to make CBs on tip.it than go all the way back and buy a manual...
  25. I don't PK. Also, this wouldn't help meleers one little bit against ancient magicks, as they are still stuck in the same place with the ice spells. I do think that meleers that can't afford a whip should have a better chance against rangers, however...
