  1. I know a few of those rules do not work by themselves. That's why I said you should try multiple of them before coming to any conclusions!
  2. I don't think PKers would give you any trouble, as I don't think there are many PKers within five levels of yours. However, I think you would be owned pretty badly by the abbysal monsters, especially the gaurdians and walkers. Usually they hit lots of 0s on me, I'm 68 defense, but every 3-4 trips I get hit by a few 5-11s, and sometimes, like last night, I have near death experiences (somehow), when they hit me down to 25/75 health. So no, I wouldn't reccomend it for you, especially if you don't have the money to buy 10+ glorys anyway, and ESPECIALLY if you haven't done the heros quest.
  3. Well, I don't know if you guys would consider this weird or not, but I actually LIKE the way whips hit now, it actually looks a bit more like a 'whipping' motion :) But the rubber chicken just looks weird... I don't know about the flail. And, to clear up some things about the speed and accuracy of the whip; It's all in your head if you think it has changed in any way. It hits as hard, fast, and as accurately as ever for me
  4. lifes the longest thing... ever. and btw Adroit, i can lick my elbow, pm me and ill send you a picture :P LOL! Awesome... i'll be able to someday if i try hard enough.... Just don't dislocate your arm, k? :?
  5. Please try to spell everything right, please try to not post ideas in this forum, rather the RuneScape discussions forum, and please, please, don't post ideas that have already been thought of 10,000 times :?
  6. Whip for attack and defense, dragon scimmy for strength. Both are very fast weapons, and whip hits higher than d long, and more often.
  7. I actually made 300 iron bars and made 20 sets of the same thing, and do you know what some of them did? They tried to act like a different person so they could get another one  It's not that they are helpless, it's that they're lazy, and I really don't respect that kind of person. Granted, yes, there are some that will actually appreciate the gift and use it wisely, but most just want to get by the game without acually having to do any work
  8. Ok, well I read thorough it... you might want to change the part where it says throw a gnomball at someone with a whip, because you can't throw it at them if their right hand is occupied. If you could just use the gnomeballs like that, then you'd see many AFK pkers running around with em'.
  9. I doubt that. You actually have to pay for members and TRAIN the autoer first. I'm sure if we were all vigilant enough about reporting them they would be banned faster than new ones could gain access to the guild... mabye even get a few of them banned even before that 8)
  10. It's easy: Just stop dueling if you keep loosing money. Instead, get a fair ammount of money and merchant it. Or, better yet, get your runecrafting up to 50 or so, buy up a bunch of glory amulets and rune essence, and craft nature runes through the abyss. It's an awesome way to make money; like 400k gold an hour. I've tried cutting magic logs myself - and it just takes way too long to cut the logs. i couldn't beat 400k gold an hour with woodcutting by chopping over 400 magic logs in an hour even if I had a dragon axe and 99 woodcutting!
  11. That's exactly the point of my post. A few people reporting these autoers simply isn't enough! If you see an autoer, report him, and encourage others to aswell so they get enough reports to be flagged. Once that happens, a Jagex mod investigates the situatioin and permanantly bans the account if they appear enough like an autoer.
  12. I sure hope so too. That's why I try my best to make very sure that I'm reporting someone who is actually an autoer.
  13. Over the last few days, I've seen a few posts here pertaining to how badly the fishing guild was swarming with autoers. So, I decided to check it out for myself last night. I checked several worlds, and what I found was absolutly horrendous. Just about every world had at least a 3/10 autoers to total players ratio (players that behave like autoers, are low level, have level 76+ fishing, ect, ect). Some had as high as 1/2! The problem I see with the rest of the people who are actually fishing is that they were not reporting thed autoers. I asked many people about it, and they said no, they don't, because they used to but Jagex dosen't do anything about it. What I have to say is, you don't know that. You may never see that autoer again, and assuming that they were never banned isn't reasonable. And, if you saw them still there the very next morning or whenever you logged back on after several hours, well, Jagex just hasen't gotten around to them yet because they already have a TON to do! So, I implore you, take some time out of your day and head on down to the fishing guild if you can, and report any autoers you see, and encourage others to do so too. If enough reports come in on any one person, than Jagex will be more inclined to check that person out. And, if you can't take time out of your busy schedule, if you ever drop by the fishing guild to do some fishing, please, report any bots you see, and again, encourage others to do so. But how do I know that are an auto bot, you say? Well, I will list various ways to identify them here that I have found, and you might want to use more than a few of them if you want to be careful not to report some innocent skiller. 1. Look at their level. If they are a very low level (25-) and they are fishing sharks, 9 times out of 10 they will be an autoer. 2. If that isn't enough for you, look their names up in the highscores. If their name only appears on fishing, and is somewhere above level 70, chances are they aren't a skiller. 3. If that still isn't enough, observe them for awhile. Usually autoers exhibit behavior that is very unlike an honest player. Here's a list of them: a)Usually if a random even appears, like a troll, they will be very slow to respond to it, and will run after 10 seconds. Also, after running, they will stand where they ran to for like 15 seconds and then return to fishing. b)When randoms like dwarves, highwaymen, and pirates appear, they will ignore them until a bit after they start firing. c)If their fishing spot moves, usually they will be slower than all of the honest players to move, and on top of that, when they finally do move, they will move in a very akward way, almost gliding, like clockwork. d)They will normally ignore genies and sandwitch ladies. If a suspected autobot gets one of those randoms, then write their names down. The minute they get teleported away, report them. A snapshot of this activity will normally be a lot more incriminating than just simply reporting them any other time. 4. Also, another way would be to add them to your friend's list. If they appear red, than means they have private turned off. Most autoers turn chat off to make themselves look like skillers with their chat off. Well, in my experience, normally low leveled skillers are pretty talkative. And, even better, if they have private on, keep PMing them. If after awhile they don't PM back telling you to shut up, then 99% of the time they will be an autoer. 5. A slightly time consuming but funny way to id one would be to go collect gnomeballs (you have to bank them after each game), and throw them at autoers if they don't have a weapon wielded. This will also let people that come after you log out that that person is most likely an autoer, and some may be more inclined to report them. Also, don't waste your time just standing there observing autoers. Grab a harpoon/net/lobster pot and fish, silly person! PLEASE NOTE THAT BY NO MEANS DOES THIS APPLY SOLEY TO THE FISHING GUILD, THE FISHING SKILL, OR THE ABUSE OF MACROING FOR THAT MATTER Please, if you see anybody breaking the rules, don't just stand there, report them and encourage others to do so aswell so we can clean out a bit more of the bad apples that are a scourage to this game! I only mention the fishing guild and enoucourage others to take the time to report autoers there because the situation is becoming increasingly worse! If somthing isn't done, then the hundreds of thousands of sharks that are funneled into the game unfairly by autoers will cause the price on sharks to decrease! Sure, you PKers will be happy, but then all of those people that fish sharks for money will be out of a way to make money. And is it really fair that these people make millions daily because they aren't banned for breaking the rules soon enough? No! Certainly not!
  14. Oh yeah, I make around 1.5k an hour and I'm only level 53 Rc. I figure If I had 91 with a giant pouch I could make double that :)
  15. There is a major problem with autoers: They will cause the price of the items that they auto to go down, runing a money making method for everyone else. While I was in catherby I threw a gnome ball at a level 32 who was obviously an autoer (fishing sharks, not responding to me talking/pming him, and did nothing about the gnome ball) and some guy said 'Oh great, another autoer'. He told me that the same day he saw like 4 different low levels selling 20k+ sharks. Thats some lame noob that made 20 mil unfairly. I see a problem with that.
  16. Lol the only time I've ever seen any good parties there was in beta. For some reason D Meds were really common and you could buy one for ~ 50k. I recall someone dumping loads of like 100+ of them in the chest  Every baloon I popped just about was yet another Dragonstone, Rune platebody, legs, 2h ect ect. Beta was the only time i've ever had a cannon. And it was pretty sweet hitting 25s+ on monsters at level 3 :D
  17. It only sucks if you're an AFKer.
  18. I'm the opposite. When some guy under me is taking heavy damage, I always think it's me, which is why I almost always have my stats screen up to moniter my health.
  19. Man, reading all of these stories just puts a pain in my gut that wants me want to strangle the life out of those good for nothing scammers. Seriously, people like that should get a freakin' life  I myself have never fallen for a trade switch scam, but reading all of these makes me feel like I have  And, from all of the whip alching stories; I'm never bringing fire + natures along with my whip again
  20. Yet. Fortunatly this random even it a lot harder to circumvent than other randoms. With randoms like trolls, they have a detector that can detect the "Fishies be mine, Leave dem Fishies!" line which triggers the program to run to a safe place then come back and revert back to the original programming. With this, however, you must listen to which sandwhich the lady asks you to take and then pick it out of the basket. This would prove difficult. But not as difficult as a mysterious box i assume.
  21. Ok, can someone please find somthing that confirms or disproves the before statement by notorious_NICK for our skepticist here? I'd like to know too.
  22. Hmm, well if I got it from a dustdevil and it was rightfully mine, I'd spend it on pretty much everything I ever wanted :) ...And if I was partnering up with someone, I'd share it with them and STILL be able to buy everything I ever wanted :D (D chain not included in that. lol). If, though, I was with like 20 people and miraculously I got the drop... I'd say "Agr more mith arrows." then a minute later... "I've got to go...". That's pretty much what everybody does at those trips anyway. Keep it all for themselves  (last KBD trip I went to with 10 people... 2 meds were dropped, both people who got them kept them, I went home with one D bone and a coupla' black hides...) So why should I share?
  23. thats one nice freind there whenever i die and lose everything i say "can i borrow 2k" then my freind says "no" then my freind dies loses everything "can i borrow 200k" back on topic i really think thats edited Yeah, I don't have many friends on my list but pretty much all of them are like that. I wish I could find some friends that nice
  24. Well, I just feel fotunate I started an account in those days :) If I had started a few years later, I don't know how it might have turned out. I probally would have quit.
