  1. ...so basically Jagex went and added another completely useless slayer monster :?: Wonderful...
  2. Well where is my money then? i was exaggerating a little.... Waay more than a little my friend, the chances of winning the lottery (at least where I live) is 1 in 172 million. I doubt D chain from dusties has any bigger odds than 1 in 20k tops.
  3. Your crazy  Runecraft is a freakin walk-a-thon. I kinda like...magic Yeah, you won't be saying that once you get 44-50 rc and you use abyss. I'ts a run-a-thon. Run from the psycho killers (abyss pkers). And the abyssal monsters too. And by the way, out of all the skills RuneCrafting is by far the fastest money. Not exactly the funnest, but the most rewarding. (pround of my 59+ RC). But, RC isn't my favorite skill, even though it's my main moneymaker. I love fishing and cooking. It's just so... relaxing :) And I have fun tracking down autoers at the fishin guild, too
  4. Hmm, thats quite interesting. Would be nice if someone else would take a log of burns/sucesses for lower fishes too :)
  5. The only time i ever staked in a duel (100k) i used iban staff, and owned the guy. But after I got zammy flames... I don't think I'll ever use that stupid spell again :)
  6. Bad idea, if somthing like the fight caves were in quest format, then Jagex wouldn't give you the luxury of keeping your items if you fail. And if you do fail, there goes your guthans and whatever else you were carrying. If somthing like that were released, the reward better be damn good
  7. Good idea, mabye that's where the blood altar could be, too?
  8. Well, for me it's because some of the skills required in some of the quests are really boring, repetitive, ect., or I just don't like them. For example, the only requirement on Devious Minds I am missing is 65 smithing. I am only 55 smithing. Why? Because it's extremely hard to train, either that or just downright expensive. I DO have 50 RuneCrafting, however, in fact I have almost 60. The reason that is is even though that is a VERY hard skill to train, and it can be boring and repetitive one too... but it is extremely profitable. How do you think I got my full torags and whip? Another example is the forgettabe tale of the drunken dwarf, the garden of tranquility, and rum deal. The reason for the former two is that they require farming. Period. And their rewards are useless for anything but farming. I hate farming with a passion, and those quests require too much standing around waiting for your stupid crops to grow. And I can't stand there and high alch because I don't have the money to buy all of the supplies for it. And Rum Deal isn't done (Believe me, I would do it if I could, even though it has farming... that holy wrench probally will come in handy) because it requires 40 farming and training that skill is somthing I simply will not do without tears of Guthix.
  9. Easy: Raise your combat level :? It's not that hard...
  10. I don't think if a new quest were 4 times harder than desert treasure anybody would be able to do it... I'm level 91, I just completed DT yesterday, and I almost died on ever single boss, and I even died once on the ice one (no big losses, fortunatly) :? Some people find DT easy, but if there were a quest four times harder, I think even the level 120+s would have a hell of a time with it. I personally would like to see a quest that uncovers some more history behind armydel, and how Sardomin became the god of good instead of him. Mabye it will be along the same lines as Desert Treasue, mabye a bit harder than that, and featuring a new set of spells that are defensive instead of offensive (eg; healing spells, some spells that mabye boost your combat stats, and mabye even some poison cures, and possibly immunity spells that make you temporarily immune to being frozen, or being poisoned).
  11. Diango, of course! He looks after all my 'rares' so I don't have to waste bankspace :)
  12. I'm up in the 5 year range with you too, getting kind of weary myself. I really hate how the fluctuations in the market make every conceivable avenue of training eventually less and less economical due to price manipulation :? ... not to mention all of the bad people with their increasingly provokative language. But as for me, I still have some things left in RuneScape to accomplish before I quit. After those years, all I have to show for it is full torags and a whip, and a couple of mill. Not... enough... pixels! Anyway, good luck with real life, hope you find some other game community to fit into :) ...and, this makes my 1000th tip.it post. There's another milestone for me :D
  13. The only thing left to do I suppose is kill chompys until you get that nice last fire-feathered hat, get full CW gold armour, and any other wearable items that actually require a lot of work to get.
  14. I wonder how 'uggh' and 'arrgh' got named, then. Just what is an uggh and an arrg now?
  15. I just wonder how the heck the wise old man managed to do a 44 with saradomin strike :?
  16. I spend 100% of the time I'm on RS in the forums. Gotta love those duel moniter video cards :D
  17. What would be funnier is... Noob: Jagex blocks your password, here look ********** Me: Really? Ok, ********** Noob: OMG, they really have one of those now? Noob:*enters password* Me:*Hacks noob and steals his precious bronze med  *
  18. Newb = New, low leveled, inexperienced player Noob = Some random insult that the little kiddies throw around too much. Choob = Some knowledgeable player that intentionally acts like a newbie just to be annoying.
  19. The frog prince outfit kind of makes you look a little... sophisticated :) The mask however dosen't really go with the outfit. It's just... creepy
  20. That's the same thing as me gaining five ranged levels in a row. I had my chat off
  21. Mully! You said everything I wanted to say! Well written! To clearify something (I think some of you misread mageys post); We here at TIF do not think JAGex' quests are stupid, boring or needless. Magey pointed out that they are to frequent. The players dont have time to explore new areas, mini-games or any of the updates because of the new quests comming out so often. Remember that JAGex' used weeks maybe months on developing those quests for your amusement! The quests are funny and easy, and gives you lots of free experience! Do not talk badly about them, unless you are a game programmer/developer and could do it better  Take me for example: I cant stand see a 'red quest topic' in my quest book. I have to logg in immediately when a quest comes out and do it (im obsessed I know). Im a cb 124 but have yet to explore the barrows! I simply have no time! Thats why I wholeheartedly agree with Mageys post! The only reason I peronally complained about the updates being pointless is because I don't really mind the frequent updates, but when they are both frequent and pintless; I just don't have the time.
  22. It is good in PVP because it sometimes ignores armour, which is especially useful if your enemy is wearing phu11 dr4g0nz0r
  23. Well why not have some in your bank, if you CAN Well I guess you're right. Not that I'll ever need to worry about that. P2P 4 lyfe!! :P (I can't stand all of the noobs on F2P. I try to keep my time on those servers to an absolute minimum...)
  24. Experiments are crap, seriously. If you want good xp, go to rock crabs. They might hvae a lot more people, but there is proportionally more crabs than people, and it's multicombat there anyway, so just attack the same crabs as other people. And turn off public chat so you don't have to hear the kids yell at your for that...
  25. Oh great... as if we didn't get enough immature little begzing noobs from miniclip
