  1. Already did that. I have a Hellhound as a guard dog for my POH :P Heh I could own your hellhound so bad; in fact, my char is sitting at hellhounds right now ranging them :P Anyway, I don't see how this is any kind of conspiracy or anything... it's just a bug
  2. i think they might make it fluctuate like proper exchanges, but the tokkul woul be worth less than 1 gp i think, to stop multi-millionaires buying out the shops Umm, if tokuls are worth less than gps, then why are fury ammys 5 mil gp but only 300k tokul? (that's the price for onyxs). And if you think making tokuls worth LESS than gp would stop multimillinaries from buying you the shops, you're dead wrong. That would make it all the easier. I personally believe that tokuls should exchange for like 5 gp each. That would make furies like 1.5M, which i think is fair for how useful it is... and for how crappy it looks :|
  3. i dout that they would put the clue in a place that can only be accessed after doing a 'hard' quest actually, some quests need to be done for level 3 clues, like regicide Yes, I have gotten pleanty of level 3 clues which lead you into areas like the elven lands, the kazarid jungle, ect. but never on a level 2 clue. Jagex even said when they first released treasure trails that only level 3s would do that.
  4. Of course it isn't when it comes to Jagex making NPCs that say "I'll pay you well", their 'well' is open for interpretation. Like at gnome stronghold: The bartender and chef guy's idea of 'well paid' is what I consider pocket change.

Mabye so, but it is very hard to tell the difference between them. If there were two reptiles, both looks very similar, but one had deadly venom, would you take the risk of picking either of them up?
  6. Peronix replied to ScubaZteve's topic in General Discussion
That just about says it. If you feed the ferocious animals at the zoo, you get your hand bit off. It's kind of sad that we have to treat people like that, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
  7. I have a question: Are these firelighters one time use? If so: BLEH. Some tt reward
  8. ...That was an idiodic thing to say. It stands to reason that dragon and rune axes are the same for woodcutting because they need the same level to use. Bronze-Addy, though, have lower level requirements. And I think if F2P get all jealous because members have better tools, then they need to join members. Getting better stuff is what being a member is all about. It shouldn't be restricted to better combat items, more quests, more skills, and more areas which it seems is what Jagex did in making dragon cut the same as rune. I mean, who actually cares to use a dragon axe while woodcutting? You stand to loose more if you lag and die
  9. Nice! I have one request though; could you post a picture of it with the equipment page open? I'd like to see its stats compared to whip. Even if they are higher, I probally won't buy it; 2Hs are slow and two handed (no using shields :(). Whip still would own it. Also, do you know how effective the special is? What's its max hit, and how far reaching is the blast radius?
  10. In terms of boredom, I'd say woodcutting is more boring. In terms of profit, woodcutting definatly takes the cake. Here's my top five 100.PKing . . . 5. Fishing (umm... 60k/hour I guess?) 4. Woodcutting (like 100k/hour) 3. Fletching (200k/hour, if I have enough supplies lined up) 2. Green Dragons (250k+ an hour) 1. RuneCrafting (like 400k+ an hour) Best PK ever was a rune scim. Lol. My clan dosen't share cause I'm new :( ...BTW, if the original poster would tell me how herblore could possbily be profitable, I'd like to know how. I'd gladly do it; I need to get me level up (47 Herb... I want all 50+s).

I joined when I was around level 15; I was just curious as to what the heck all of these members benefits were, and was frustrated when I kept running into gates that kept telling me I couldn't pass through them, and all of the NPCs, doors, and trapdoors that kept excluding me. Then I spent most of my time exploring, then settled down and finished the rest of the F2P quests, and started building my members skills, which I found quite boring.
  12. I'm afraid I don't have any real friends from "back-in-the-day" (and by that I mean RSC, I started my account then). Some level 80 did smith me free full steel when I was shouting that I was buying it, I thought she was the nicest person in the whole world lol. To me, back then, even little ammounts of money like 200 gp was alot. That's because players to new games think the currency in terms of dollars. To me, 200 gp was like 200 dollars  I remember being so flabergasted when my IRL friend told me that one of the easy quests gave 500 gp as a reward. It wasn't until I found out that 1 mil RS gp = 10$ that I truly knew the value of my money. Now I throw around 200 gp like it's nothing. Heck, now I throw around 200K like it's practically nothing :) (...and to my IRL friend that's still alot...)
  13. I actually thought of that awhile ago, but immediatly dismissed the idea when I thought about it thouroghly. Just how are you going to mix 3 4 dose pots in the same vial? :? And if you mix three one doeses, wouldn't you have to drink the entire potion instead of one dose to get the entire effect? If you just drunk one dose of this, then since the potion is dilluted, it would only give 1/3rd the effect of each. It just wouldn't work.
  14. Smithing pickaxes, YES, I have wanted that ever since... well forever. It never made sense to me that axes were smithable but pickaxes weren't. It would also be nice if you could make halberds (required Regicide to smith) and spears. But drop all, no. It would only mean we would see many more macroers, especially at the fishing guild. All they have to do to macro their way to 76 fishing would be to run their usual macro on a low fishing spot, and hit drop all on all of the useless fish. That would shave off a significant ammount of time needed to macro to shark level; and probally the same with woodcutting macroers aswell. So NO on that one.
  15. Bone spear. It dosen't nescicarily look the ugliest, but it looks so damn ugly when there are 10+ noobs in the castlewars waiting room with them
  16. First of all, pushing aside all of the obvious massive experience gains per hour that would come from that; just how the hell are you going to lug around an anvil that probally weighs literally a ton?' And there is also the fact that you could set it up in Port Patahsmas (lol never could spell that right) furnace place, then grab a bunch of bars, smelt and smith them right there. Bad idea.
  17. OMG if Jagex dosen't stop that crap I swear I'm going to fly down to their HQ and slap them IRL. How is that website advertising? Only people that have been to tip.it will understand it, anyway
  18. Well I'd say you are lucky it was just a black mark. Usually Jagex BANS people for impersonating Jagex staff. They probally knew you were joking, but gave you a black mark anyway to teach you that you shouldn't jokingly break the rules. It's no laughing matter to them.
  19. Whoa, 750k an hour? Are addy darts all that expensive to make, BTW? Yeah, fletching is the fastest XP. That's why it's my highest skill (85). I got there in like three days, each day getting 1m+ xp. Xp per hour was somewhere around 300k an hour. It was only that low because I was fletching and stringing yew longs, and selling for profit. Had I been only stringing, it probally would have been like 500k+ xp an hour. I find it kind of funny though how fletching used to be one of the HARDEST skills to train in RSC, and now it's one of the easiest
  20. Aww you just HAPPENED to schedule it at the exact same time as my clan PK trip  ... I ain't missin that over a drop party I probally won't get anything at, sorry
  21. I've never calculated this, so I had no idea how rare it was and why nobody has gotten more than three yet, but now that I've taken the minute to do so I'd like to share it with you. It's not a topic meriting any real discussion, just a little food for thought. 1 Barrows item: Most people get one ever 50 or so runs, some have a lot more luck but I'd say that is the average number. 2 Barrows items: That would be 50^2, so the chances are 1:2,500. 3 Barrows items: 50^3, so 1:125,000. Now I understand why only one person has gotten this. He was REALLY lucky. 4 Barrows items: Don't expect ever to see this. 50^4 = 1:6,250,000 5 Barrows items: ^Ditto^ 50^5 = 1:312,500,000. The chances of winning the lottery in my state is about 1:172,000,000. And that gets up to like $120 + million dollars. You have twice the chance of winning that than expecting a 5 barrow item drop. lol 6 Barrows items: ...do I even have to say it... 50^6 = 1:15,625,000,000. That's about the chance of lightning striking twice in the same spot, in the same storm... and you know what they say about that...
  22. He used to spawn twice for everyone? I remember hearing that he spawned twice for one person because he was chosen as the monster that respawns after you kill it. That's the only occurence that I'm aware of. Psst, his name is TzTok-Jad.  Actually, I saw more than a few posts about this happening on these forums. Dunno quite how many, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't an isolated occurance.
  23. I actually have a similar story, not quite as extereme. I had my account stolen, and my recovery questions changed. But I sent in a recovery query with every previous password used on the account, and as much info about the account; like when I made it; as possible. After a few attempts I got it back. And by the way; if he is paying for membership on it, then as soon as you get the account back cancel the subscription via the 'cancel your subscription' button on the frontpage. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I'm pretty sure if you have access to your account you can cancel it immediatly. By the way, send in the password recovery thing as 'Someone else knows my recovery questions'. If they believe you and change your password, then they will also reset your recovery questions; and you can set new ones which will appear in a week. In the meantime, the hacker can't get back in unless he finds out your new password because the recovery questions no longer are avalive for retrieving the account.
  24. Well... the low levels couldn't exactly do this quest when there are some pretty big reqs, not to mention the level 150+ monster in the reqired quest rum deal, and all it's reqs, too (40 farming -.-). So basically Jagex designed it for higher levels, but failed miserably to make it in any way challenging. It's certainly worth the time, but is definatly lacking.
  25. It would stand to reason that they are exactly the same, because leg stats = skirt stats, and the price of bronze-addy legs/sirts in Louie and Sally's shop is the same. It's kind of rediculous IMO that skirt is so much cheape i comparison with legs. It has nothing to do with rarity, it's 100% supply and demand. Legs are exactly as rare as skirts to drop; people, including a lot of girls, prefer legs over skirt. The same story with D Med and all of the rest of the dragon items. D med is dropping so rapidly because people don't like it, and it's only a few points better than warrior helm. And the D Square seems to be dropping quite quickly, because people are diving headlong into the obby shield. And then chain is still as expensive as it is despite all of the people getting them from KQs and now DustDevils is because people really, really like them and they're a status symbol. They look infinatly cooler than any barrows armour piece, and are the best non-degradable armour piece. So, therefore, people pay those higher prices for them, even though they fail to realize that they are supposed to be lower than legs, even skirt. ...okay I guess I kind of strayed off topic a bit there like I always do. I guess I did that because I have always known what protects over what; mystic top over whip, D long, scim, bxe over whip, all melee brother barrows over whip, D legs and Sq over chain, ect and the list goes on.
