New spell suggestion: Super High Alchemy.
Unfortunately it does, higher alchemy prices could mean the GE prices would increase as well. It's already hard enough to buy a lot of sharks, I wouldn't want it to be even harder.

How are "elite clue scrolls" supposed to be a higher diffuculity than "hard clue scrolls"?
I don't mind doing them, in fact I do find it fun. But my point is they aren't more difficult than hard clues in my opinion. Also I'm referring to the common rewards, not the rare exclusive ones. Most bosses are pretty shit gp/hr if you don't include the rare exclusive drops too. I never said the common rewards are "bad" (but then again I don't consider bronze dagger a bad drop from a monster, so you can't take my word for it) I just said that they're worth less than the common hard ones.

I don't really blame you for that. Most of the times I made posts without even knowing what I was talking about. But that wasn't the case with this thread though since unlike previously I actually thought if it was a good idea to make it or not. And I'm glad. I'm also taking into consideration if I'd use what I get or not. I don't sell nature runes or law runes since I plan on using them. Same goes for the royal dragonhides, rune bars and the antifire potions. If I don't sell the items I'd use, they really are worth less than regular hard clues. Jagex won't incorporate your own personal values into the game though. Well, there is a reason this is in the rants forum and not the suggestions forum. I'm not expecting Jagex to change anything I'm just stating my viewpoint.

But don't you have to look stuff up too when it comes to easy and medium clues? Even easy ones have some riddles that require some thinking progress.

May I suggest this page? It's helped me a lot.

You know what you're absolutely right. I overreacted because I thought breaking a promise makes one a despicable person. But as long as I think a thread in the rants through, there won't be a problem, and I did just that with this thread. And so far nobody's complaining about how I "broke a promise", I'm the only person who's bringing that up.

They are fun to do, I'm not denying that. I find these puzzles very interesting. Don't be selfish and flood H&A with rant topics when people use that place to genuinely seek help, please Alright, I get your point. But here is the problem. By posting in the rants forum I am breaking a promise I made. Next time I have some issue I will just keep it to myself, it's bad enough I broke this promise once I'm not doing it again. So yeah, when I have something to complain about next time I'll just keep it to myself, won't post it here or the help & advice forum either.

I know they won't drop five at a time, that would make smithing far too easy. I'm just wondering if I can kill at least 5 rune dragons a trip with mostly just sharks in my inventory. I doubt they will be boss monsters though, but I'm sure they'll be harder to kill than mithril dragons. You need to beat Ritual of the Mahjarrat and actually have access to dragonbane ammunition to kill them. So no, you won't be able to kill them with your standard metal dragon setup. That's disappointing. It might be a bit odd that I prefer fighting monsters that I can kill easily, but I really like to get my monster log up quickly. you might be surprised how easy the higher monsters are to kill once you get used to them. Once you know a way that you find comfortable to kill them the kills will fly by and could end up enjoying more, always worth trying other things and giving them a chance. Well, I am certainly thinking about it. Challenge is after all a good thing.

Thanks for moving, but I still feel horrible for breaking a promise. I technically have now since this is in the rants forum. I guess I should have just kept silent about this and kept it to myself, not because my arguments are bad, but because I made a promise not to post in the rants forum again.

Yes, I am complaining. But believe it or not, I did actually think before making this thread, I didn't just make it because it just came to mind, I have been wondering about how elite scrolls work for quite a bit actually. As for more steps? Hardly, thanks to the lodestones, you can go to the required spot the arrow leads to in a matter of seconds. And I already explained how easy it is to scan. And yeah, I am looking at the RS wiki article now, but to be honest, all it's stating is stuff I already know as I have done these scrolls on many occasions. I know this is possibly more fit for "rants", but I promised I'd never make a thread there again, and I don't break promises. Also, the unique rewards might be more valuable, but that's not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about the common rewards. The common drops in hard clues are more valuable.

That might be true, but most of these that require scanning lead to a city which takes five minutes at most to travel around in. Or any location at all for that matter that take five minutes at most to explore fully.

How are "elite clue scrolls" supposed to be a higher diffuculity than "hard clue scrolls"?
I have been thinking about it and came to the realization that not only are majority of rewards from elite scrolls worth less than the ones in hard clues, what you're supposed to do is also easier. The only things you could argue are harder are the guthix wizard and the celectic knot puzzles. Everything else is almost as easy to do as easy scrolls. Following an arrow is so simple you don't even have to look up what you're supposed to do. Not to mention some of the clues flat out tell you the location of next destination. All you have to do is scan until you find the right place, it takes just a few minutes. And I have yet to get a riddle from elite scrolls, or something that requires me to wear something. Literally every other difficulty of clues have both. Despite everything I said, elite scrolls are usually rarer than hard clues. And many boss monsters drop elite scrolls instead of hard clues. Can someone please tell me how elite scrolls are supposed to be a higher difficulty? Because I really don't see it.

Yeah, they will. But they better not make dragon swords require so hard quest, that'd be wrong as no one cares about shortswords. Maybe rune dragons won't be as easy to kill as I think. I have a feeling I won't be able to kill more than five in one trip. But it'd be great if I could though since nothing beats getting rune bars every time I kill a monster. Nothing.

But I'm referring to items that high alch for that much, but ones that are worth that much. But I totally 100% understand why items like that are not dropped by regular non-boss monsters, and for the record I don't want them to do it either since it'd make money making far too easy. Come to think of it, maybe rune dragons shouldn't drop dragon platebodies, but should instead have an unique drop, that should work even better.

Of course they are, it's pretty obvious, I never said they're valuable. But dragon platebody is still worth quite a lot as a drop from non-boss monsters since very few non-boss monsters drop items that high alch for over million. I'm not saying worth over million because even dragon platelegs and abyssal whip were worth over million at one point, and it's not worth ignoring. And before anyone points out, yes, I'm fully aware that a drop worth over million could damage the economy. I'm not making a suggestion, I'm just saying what I personally would like to see. Until you use Dragonkin smithing techniques to upgrade them to T90 armour. :P And I'm less then impressed with your structural balls. I'm not at all talking about how useful the item is. Don't worry, I have no intention of defending dragon equipment anymore, that's all in the past. When you get a drop worth over million it's usually from a boss monster. How many non-boss monsters can you actually think of that drop something that high alchs for over million? I can't think of any personally, I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm just saying there is none I can think of.

Is the quest that unlocks dragon warhammer worth doing?
I know what some of you might be thinking, "Oh god he's making another thread about dragon items?", well I'm not. At least it's not the main subject of the thread. But I need to do a quest to unlock the ability to hold a dragon warhammer. But the problem is I don't have the required smithing level for it yet, not a problem I know I will when I have made 15,000 steel platebodies from the steel dragons I kill. My question has nothing to do with the weapon itself, it's solely about the quest. Is it worth doing? Also, keep in mind that I don't care what rewards I get. If a quest gave me four bronze daggers as a reward but has a fantastic story and memorable dialog, I would still consider it a good quest, and I'd do that for sure. You see I care about if the story is good or not. If the story is awful, the quest is not worth doing in my opinion. If the story is good, I will remember it forever. So yeah, tell me, is the quest worth doing for the story?

I know it's unlikely since dragon platebody is supposed to be an item you can only get one way in the game, but I think it'd be cool if rune dragons dropped it. Keep in mind that dragon longswords were at one point only available in that one store. But now monsters drop it, rarely, but still do. So you can't say it won't happen.
