There's one for high levels and one for low levels, so I'll do one for average people. For those of you are complaining, I would call average someone who: -has slayer dart, a few deaths and minds -has mystic robes -can afford prayer pots and sharks -has 50+ range and has a few rune arrows -has done fremmy trials, most people have these days Straigh to it... What to bring (sorry but no pics) -SPADE!!! So many people forget this!!! -ahrims(or mystic) top and bottom -farseer(or ahrims hood, same bonus, just costs more) -zammy book or dragon square(or your best shield) -slayer staff -dark(or mystic)gloves -wiz boots(or lightness if you're running far, mystic not really worth it) -deaths and minds, about 100 deaths and 400 minds for every trip you want to do -rune arrows or bolt racks(100 will do) -mage short bow, karils xbow or crystal(crystal isn't that good for under 75-80 range) -karils(or dragonhide)top and bottom, bring melee armour instead if you're getting your kill count up, but I don't suggest this. -whip if you plan to get your kill count up(not advised if you have noted items or can do lots of trips) -ectophial(not needed if you're banking in Burgh de Rotte) -ring of life(wealth has no effect-confirmed) -God cape, fire cape, obby cape or legends cape) -prayer pots(or super restores, which are better, just harder to get) -sharks, amount depends on whether or not getting your kill count up) -about 5k gp if you've got noted items(along with the noted stuff of course) Note: I'm level 100 combat, this works for much lower levels as well though, and I don't suggest getting your kill count up unless you're dangerousely low on deaths or minds, but I still suggest buying them. Also, until about 2 weeks ago, I used to get my kill count to 30 every trip, but on my 3rd trip of not getting it up, I got my first double item(verac helm and flail :D ) This my personal favourite way of doing barrows: Order of killing: 1) Kill ahrim first using your best range armour and prayer(higher levels may not need prayer) 2)Karil next, wear ahrims or mystic and use slayer dart on him, with your shield if you have it. Remember your prayer! 3)Guthans is 3rd, wear ahrims and your shield(good mellee defence highly suggested), use slayer dart and prayer(use super restores after ahrim and karil if you have them) 4)Dharok...PRAYER with mage dart, no need for your shield here, so take it off if you have space 5)Verac, use slayer dart and prayer, again no shield needed 6)Torag, you the prayer you have left from Verac, if none, take 1 dose, if you're running out of prayer, switch to your best melee defence, he won't do much damage, lower levels(less than 85ish)use more prayer instead. A lot depends who you have in the tunnel now, so I'll explain what I do for all 6 brothers. If it's Ahrim, wear your best mage defence, but only if it has a reasonable melee defence too, and your whip if you have it on you(don't want to waste range ammo), as soon as he spawns, switch to your bow, drink a prayer pot if you need(higher levels don't) and use your special attack if you have mage short bow. If it's Karil, where your best range defence, melee armour if you have, and have your spell on auto cast before entering the tunnel, as soon as he spawns, drink a prayer pot and prayer!!!! Switch to ahrims or mystic and murder him. For Guthan, wear your best melee defence and have your spell on autocast, when he spawns, run a few spaces away from him and qickly pot before he reaches you, turn prayer on take another pot if you need. Dharok is the one everyone dreads, but just go in with your best melee defence and spell on auto cast, when he spawns, do the same as you did for Guthan, but this time you can switch to your ahrims or mystic robes and remove your shield. Make sure you have plenty of prayer for him!!!! Verac, again melee defence, autocast spell, run a few spaces and pot up, and change to mystic or ahrims and remove shield, don't worry too much if you're slightly low on prayer. Torag, melee defence, autocast, lower levels take 2 doses of prayer pot and higher levels just one, lower levels can change to ahrims or mystic and remove shield, whilst higher levels stay on melee defence(you will still hit well and he can barely touch you) Note, I always make sure I have at least 50% energy before going into the tunnel, so walk whilst you're above ground unless you have a high agility level (I'm guessing 70+ and are using super restores) If you are getting your kill count up, don't get it above 30 as after that it no longer increases your chances of getting anything!! If you're not sure about the puzzles leading to the centre, have a look at tip.it's guide. *edit* If you get your puzzle wrong, your 6th brother won't appear when you open the chest as he normally does, you WILL have to go searching for him! Make sure you get the puzzle correct, the best way to do this is simply to be able to recognise one of the answers stright away and just keep going until that question comes up, unfortunately you can take a lot of damage from skeletons doing this, so try and be able to recognise at least 2 answers instantly. Once you've opened the chest, switch to melee defence, search the chest and if you have enough supplies for another trip, run like nothing back to your ladder(try to wait for any lag to disappear first if you can). If you don't or if you want to bank anything you got, teleport out and run to port phasmytys bank(not canafis), bank everything but boots of lightness(if you have), take a few energy pots and run to canafis bank, restock everything and get back to barrows ASAP. If you have noted stuff, use up the prayer pots you have left in the same order as above and then run back to mort'ton and un-note some more sharks and prayer pots. Or if you're using the bank in Burgh de Rotte(advised) run there and restock everyhing you need, take a dose or 2 of energy potion and get back and kill whoever you still need to kill(note: if you're going straight into the tunnel, take an energy pot with you and use it when you get there, drop the vial for space(make sure you space for a few rewards!) Doing this using Burgh de Rotte bank, no melee armour and not getting my kill count up, I can do 5 trips without banking, 4 with melee armour and a teleport. But I'm 77 magic and 100 combot, lower levels may only be able to do 1 trip each time. If you're not sure of the best way for you to get to barrows, check the tip.it guide or just use the world map. I think that covers everything, tell me if there's something missing. Ciao.
