Well now... When my origional f2p char got banned about 15 months ago, he had 2 santas, they were worth about 400kea at the time, they would add on nicely to my collection now. Other than that my bro got hacked and lost 7 santas, I swear if that was me I would've killed myself! I remember someone cutting willows in f2p with green phat, rune axe, and1 other item(can't remember), I think he might have been an autoer, don't know, but he died from tree spirit but never dropped his phat, so annoying that I pmed him and asked if it was even possible to lose rares when die-ing(yer I was a noob back then). I wish he had dropped it!!

Look people, some idiots play the game purely for money, others play for skills, but most people try to find a balance. Just accept that everyone is different, it can't affect you that badly, however it is super annoying when low lvls call you a noob because you don't have more than Xm, why should it bother them, maybe they also need to realise everyone is different!

Hmmm, I also like buying my balls of wool from general stores, and a tip for anyone getting their firemaking level up, go to world 1 varrock store and buy 26 willows, burn, buy 26 more, burn, they cost 12ea and you may never run out, my bro went from 43 firemaking all the way to 70 doing that, and it only took about 2 weeks! Unfortunately, my luck in RS is limited and I've never had a good general store buy :(

I don't think anyone who uses prayer is a noob, in any circumstances! even 1v1 funning at dul arena, if you beat someone who's not using prayer, have you really beaten them, I usually get disappointed when people don't use prayer, because I'll never know if I could really beat them! And the same goes for CW, I remember a few months ago a lvl 120 called me a prayer noob when I was running from him with the flag, I was about 98/9cb back then, wearing mystic, almost no defences and he was using dharoks g axe, what was I meant to do? And one more thing, why do people use dharoks in CW? It just allows you to hit higher, you're better off even with a dds.

I don't think this was tip.it best article, it raised a few issues though. And before saying that rares would go up, I hope you consulted the one and only true master merchant!! If you didn't it would be nice to get some thoughts from Duke on what the disappearance of 200 santas and everything else will do to prices, I noticed most things have already gone up by about 20% in the last few weeks. Lucky me!!

I've had about 23m in cash, sold everything I had before becoming a member :) and now thanks to the master merchants ban, all 5 of my santas went up by like 2m each, so I'm about 50m total now, sometimes I wish I didn't want to spend it on prayer. :(

If you want to make even more money from buying the runes, only buy chaos and deaths, then sell them to the tzaar rune shop until you have 300k tokkul, then buy an onyx and get someone to craft(usually costs 50-100k), DO NOT TRUST TRADE!! Then sell the fury ammy, doing this gives you a massive profit, but you'll need about 3.4m cash to start with. You'll finish with 5m and you can get 1 fury about every 2 days if you stick to it. So about 800k profit a day, this worls really well after an update or early in the morning(GMT) as there are always lots of runes!!

I think when creating an account you should have to give your email address, but make it so one email can only have one account, a lot of people would imply give up making all the new emails and new accounts. Banning an IP wouldn't work, I don't know much about it, but you can be sure they would've done that already if it was going to work.

It seems like a lot of people are really worried about their first trip at barrows, maybe someone could write a guide to the first trip, I'm not going to bother for two reasons, I can't play until exams are over and I'm lazy!! Good luck with barrows everyone!!

I've been quite lucky doing barrows probably making 1m an hour whilst not getting to 30 kill count, otherwise i usually go backwards, eg. I'm going to buyin +/-2.5k d bones soon, that will set me back more than ever! I honestly don't know how people can make 15m a day, I've had 6m worth of barrows stuff in a day, but that's my best ever, for anything, especially as I am really, really bad at merchanting!!

hmmm, sounds really fun, I've never been to KBD, KQ or CE, but I'd really like to some time, so if someone gives me tips on what to bring etc. I'll come along some time, if I ever give up Barrows, which I doubt will happen in this life time! I think RCers will make a lot more money now, pure ess will go up, but runes will go up even more because of all the merchanters taking all the ess and leaving none for the crafters, those of us who still get our own ess will make a hell of a lot of money, just it will take longer.

Tried out using a canon and leaving it in ahrims tomb, DON'T DO IT!!! It is a huge waste of canon balls and you'll end up spending more on them than you would on simply using prayer against him.

Man, dunno why everyone dreams about phats, although I did once after making friends with someone who had a green(10m at the time) and I was f2p back then, dreamt that he died at the willows in draynor, can't remember what happened after that though, man this is a weird post.

Here are my stats: 81 strength 81 attack 80 defence 62 prayer(almost 63) 71 range 78 magic I would really appreciate an honest answer here :-)

Just to clear this up people, monk robes are better than zammy robes, by a long way when you look at the prayer bonuses, use monk's robes over zammy, however I still prefer using my ahrims for its defence bonus, it's also not a bad idea to mage with your melee armour all the time, saves you bringing any robes and doesn't affect the damage you do with dart, also saves a lot of food in the tunnel. And I didn't write this just to write any guide, I'm a barrows maniac and it's just about the only thing in RS I really know something about. So don't tell me to write a guide about something else, I'll do that when I stop doing barrows...NEVER!!!!

You might find the first Karil disappeared, allowing you get another twin, not a triplet, but man, that's reall unlucky, especially as it's Karil, I've done over 200 trips and never had a twin...:-)

I'm saying this more and more recently, I regret spending everything I had before the auction, looks like you had good fun, even if you didn't get much :-) Never gone 2hrs of Barrows without somehing worth more thean like 500k, so I guess you just weren't too lucky. :-(

Similar thing happened to me, Dharok in the tunnel, wasn't at chest, and when he came I took my 2 doses, switched to mystic(no ahrims back then for me)and well I was owning him, until...lag..."oh dear, you are dead," Thank God it doesn't happen every day!! I lost 1.6m that day, even without having any piece of barrows armour. Most of it was in noted prayer pots and sharks. No longer take noted stuff...but I do use ahrims and Karils, and Torags when I want to raise my KC. Good luck getting your ahrims back, and Guthans, and Dharoks, and Karils, and whatever else you fancy. :-)

It's in Leester's guide I think, have a look in the Archive of Wisdom, it says to use melee armour against as he can heal through prayer, but heals less when your defence stats are higher. Not a bug :-)
