I tried it out yesterday while Castle Waring (of course. :P) and it was pretty cool. It's nice to have a chat with tip it users while still being able to play RS.

Only 3 days left. :D I hope to have a good turnout for the event. :mrgreen:

That's because I like having a high skill total with no 99s. How many RSers out there have a skill total higher than 1835 without having atleast one 99? Not very many.

Noes, evil RS. Must....resist....temptation... Hopefully I'll be close enough that I'll end the event with 1300 tickets (at 1200 at the time of this post) so I'll be able to buy the gold plate and legs. Then I'll be a sexy CW addict. :mrgreen:

According to the time zone converter that should be; "01:00:00 p.m. Friday August 10, 2007 in US/Central converts to 06:00:00 p.m. Friday August 10, 2007 in GMT" At least I think CST converts to US/Central time. Met, could you use another term of time zone that I can find on that scroll-menu on the converter? CST isnt listed there. :? CST stands for Central Strandard Time. So Sunli you're right with the US/Central time. ;)

Met's Retirement Castle Wars Event Well I finally got my hard drive replaced and got a lot of stuff up and running again. So as promised here is my Castle Wars Event for my retirement from RuneScape. The event will be held on August 10th, 1:00pm CST. It will be an all day event so I can get in as much CWing as I can before I go. I just renewed my membership for one month, so after the event I'll have one week to sell off my members stuff and hang up my whip for the last time. When: August 10th. Starting at 1:00pm CST Where: Castle Wars Arena world 99 (if needed the world will be changed to a less popular world so all who wish to can attend) Why: Having one last go at the game I love before I call it a career. What to bring: Bring your best armor and weapons to whip up on some fellow Tip.Iters. Welcome to the retired club Wakka. It's a bit strange at first but you get used to it. :)

We don't get a "privilege" per say, but most Jagex Mods keep Player Mods added incase the P-Mod has a question about something. Also, the "take-from" option is an option Jagex added to Castle Wars so people from your own team couldn't be a "spy" for the other team and just stand there and hold the opposing team's flag.

If I played during the afternoon I just used my home world (99). But if it was later in the night (after 11pm) then I'd go to worlds like 6 or even 2. Just to show you how addicted I was to CW here's two pictures I took for Unbeaten 1. ;) If you'll notice I have the two white CW armor sets in my house and STILL have 808 tickets in my inventory. Those armor sets are worth 180 tickets a piece. So two of 'em is 360 tickets bringing my total number of tickets when I took those pictures to 1,168. :shock: I have more tickets now as those pictures are old. My name is Met and I'm addicted to Castle Wars..All together now "HI MET!". ;)

Thanks for all the warm comments guys. I'm not going to leave TIF. I'll still pop my head in every now and then to say hi and check in on things. I never thought that there were so many people on these forums who respected me so much or thought of me as a good RSer. It's good to know that I've "touched" sort-of-speak so many lives, even if it's just on a virtual level. Remember, whenever I get my hard drive fixed/replaced I will be buying myself one more month of membership and will be holding a huge CW event for my retirement. So stay tuned. :) P.S. To Dudeonthenet's comment on the last post on the first page. Yeah I'll see you in a bit, as in as soon as I go back in the living room. Yep, you heard me right, I'm making this post for my offical retirement from RuneScape. As most of you know many months ago my hard drive decided to take a nose dive. Well to be honest I'm glad it happened. I was spending a LOT of time on my PC. When the hard drive died it "forced" me to go out and be more social with friends/family, and I've enjoyed it. I just returned from a 5 hour 300 mile trip to Kansas City, MO. for RockFest. It was a purely awesome experience and I didn't even think of RS or anything dealing with it. I've started dating a girl I work with and have been having friends over a lot more to hang out. Had one of my best friends, Heather, over last night until 4am. RuneScape has been a part of my life for nearly 5 years and it's time for me to move on. I've made a ton of friends over these years and I'm thankful for that. I wish them, and everyone else, nothing but the very best in their future indevours both in RuneScape and real life. Just a few I can name off the top of my head are, in no particular order; Oddfaery2 - Nathan, you're one hell of a gamer and one hell of a guy. I'm glad Priscilla met you in Al Kharid all that time ago. If not I wouldn't of met you and missed out on a great friendship. Keep being the awesome guy you are and I still don't know if I'm going to move out there when my lease is up. Haha Unbrokenxero - Yet another hell of a guy. Jason has had me laughing through the year or so I've known him. Granted it hasn't been a very long friendship I consider it a good one. For the love of God man, if you read this, put a shirt on when you get your picture taken. GEEZ! Cobalt99 & Lady Jean2 - Two of the nicest people I have ever met, period. I consider them family and I hope they do the same for me. If they're ever in my neck of the woods they will always have a home with me. Queenvalerie & Leesters - Lee you are by far one of my favorite people to go DKing with. You always make the trips fun and exciting. Plus it also gives me the chance to be mentioned in one of your famous stories. ;) Perhaps Odd, you and I should make one last run for old times sake when I have my CW event. We'll see. Valerie, you are a great woman and one hell of a 'Scaper. I'm glad I got the chance to meet/talk with you over my time on RS. Lee is a lucky guy to have found a woman like you. I know that there are a ton of other names that I've missed. Believe me, it's nothing against you I just can't think of anymore off hand. I haven't been on RS but maybe twice in the past 6 months. So forgive me for not remembering a lot of names. You all know who you are and if you're on my friends list believe me, you're there for a reason. Not just because you're a member of the TIF, but because I consider you my friend and that's not something I hand out too often. I will still pop in from time to time to say hello and such, so don't go taking me off that friends list too quick. ;) My current plan of action is to buy myself one more month of membership when I get my hard drive fixed/replaced and hold a big TIF Castle Wars event to make my retirement "offical". Although right now it's pretty much done with. So just keep that in mind and keep your eyes peeled for my event post. I'm not on my own computer right now obviously so I'll have to post my stats using RuneScript. If I can get my TON of RS pics off my broken hard drive I will go through them and post some of my pictures for memorie's sake.
