I've only played around with the update for a few minutes today so far. What I've seen/done so far it seems epic! I've always loved CW (1,067 games played before the update) and this just makes it even better. I'm going to log in right now and play a few games. :D Best update in a long time in my opinion. :mrgreen:

Just finished the quest, without a guide. It's 4:09am (I started when I got home from work.....at midnight), I'm tired. The Jagex employee who thought up that puzzle needs to be shot, lol. Once I understood what to do with the puzzle, since the quest journal was NO HELP WHATSOEVER, it wasn't too bad and I actually enjoyed doing the puzzle. Usually when I'm stuck in a quest I can look at the Quest Journal and get at least some what of an idea of what I need to do. Not in this quest. Fun puzzle, poorly thought out in terms of helpful-if-you're-stuck stuff. I'm too tired to go on, I'm going to bed.

Interesting responses so far I must say. I suppose I just like getting whatever gp I can. Thanks for the replies so far and I look forward to seeing more reasons.

...leave the coin piles of monsters that they've killed on the floor? I was killing Gargoyles today in Kuradal's dungeon for a Slayer task and two level 138s wearing full Bandos/Fury with DFS and whips kept leaving their coin piles from Gargoyles that they killed on the floor. Now I can understand that the piles aren't that big, but after 100+ kills (which is what the average task consists of) that can add up to a good amount of cash. I mean is that one extra inventory space worth the few k that would be there instead of a random object? Maybe I'm just greedy but I just don't get why it seems that some higher levels just leave basically free gp lying on the ground. Your thoughts? Are you one of the people who doesn't bother picking up coin drops? Or....?

That pretty much says that private servers are against the Terms of Service (rules).

There's no instant way to gain a butt load of cash, which is what it seems like you're expecting. The only way to really do that is to go to a boss monster and hope for a good drop, although you've said you won't do that. Just do the methods above and work on your skills. That's what I've done and I've gathered a decent bank value, nothing too spectacular, but not too bad. Personally I'd say Slayer is a good way to make some cash, but that's just me.

If that is the case I hope everyone, including myself, has a good memory. If that icon goes away can you still hover your mouse over their name to see what it used to be? If not then it'll be hard to keep tract of who's whom.

Yes, you reset and do floors 1-9 again. Only do each floor once though or you're wasting your time. Since you've completed floor 9 already when you reset your Prestige will be saved at level 9. So when you do floor one after the reset you'll get a Prestige bonus equal to level 9 Prestige vs. level 1 prestige (which is what you have when you very first start out, before completing any floors). Additionally you only get the, in this case, level 9 Prestige bonus on each floor ONCE per reset, so doing the same floor more than once after resetting is a waste, as you'll only get the Prestige bonus once. EXAMPLE: You are JUST starting, you have no progress on any floors or Complexity. Your Prestige level bonus is 0. You complete floor one, so your Prestige now raises to level 1 bonus. You complete level 2, so your Prestige raised to level 2 bonus, etc. Let's say you complete floors 1-10. So once you complete floor 10 your Prestige level bonus will now be level 10 (since you completed 10 floors). So if you hit the RESET button (located at the bottom of the Party Interface of the Dungeoneering Ring given to you by the Dungeoneering Tutor) your Prestige will be saved at, in this case, level 10 bonus. So if you are to do floor 1 again your Prestige bonus will now be at level 10 bonus for floor one (vs level 1 bonus for floor one like it was on your first trip), since you completed floors 1-10 earlier and reset. However if you were to get your Prestige to level 10 bonus then try and do any floor more than once per reset you would only receive the Prestige bonus ONCE. As it will only work for your FIRST run through each floor, for each time you reset. Repeating a floor more than once per reset will NOT give you the Prestige bonus, of any kind. NOTE: If you complete, for example, floors 1-10, then reset your Prestige will be level 10. If you were to complete more floors and reset BEFORE complete AT LEAST floor 10 your level 10 Prestige bonus will be overrode by whatever level floor you reset on the 2nd run. EXAMPLE: You complete floors 1-10; your Prestige is now level 10. You then decide on the next run to only do floors 1-5 and reset; your Prestige is now ONLY level 5. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion about Prestige and how it works. I believe this to be an accurate perception of how Prestige works.

I'm only level 5 in the skill so far but from what I've seen I've liked. I did a duo run with my RL best friend for the first 3 levels, and tried going solo for the last two, although Java kept crashing on me. It's a cool change of pace to leveling skills. I'll be doing it some more tonight after work, that's for sure.

Personally I'd go with TDs. Although my opinion is rather biased as I've never been to GodWars except for 2 times. However TDs (at least last time I was there, which was about 3 months ago) were never as crowded as GodWars seems to be, so I'd think you'd have an easier time finding an empty world for TDs vs. one for GodWars.

Doesn't RuneScape already have a demo version? It's called f2p. I mean, it's basically a demo version. It's not updated and has limited content, just like a demo.

I don't feel like taking/posting a pic but if I can I use my 52" LCD HD TV to play on while sitting on my sofa using a USB keyboard/mouse. If not then I just use my laptop. Here's the specs, if you're curious: Intel Core i3 - 330M, 4GB,DDR3,1066MHZ,2 DIMM 17.3" HD+ WLED, 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 320G 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive. Screen Resolution is 1600x900 So it's not too fancy but gets the job done.

300 QP Helmet, New sword, new bow and new staff stats. Examine for new helmet reads "A helmet of epic accomplishment for a hero with 300 Quest Points".

I kinda 2nd this, but I am terrified of how religiously you follow it and how quick you seem to be...... I think you may need to take a lie down Toad. Anyways, The Blood Pact sounds good. I wonder what the reward is for those 300 QPers. I'll tell you once I do the quest. :) Shouldn't take too long as the update is aimed at lower level players. At least that's what it seems.

Nothing special for me. Got 71-74 Summoning, 82-84 Farming, 70-71 Hunter and 73-75 Smithing. That's without preparing at all for this weekend. :P My Modifier is still at 1.7x too, so I might try to get a few more levels when I get home from work tonight.
