  1. I vote for keeping Edgeville. Mainly for the fact that I've all but moved in while I smelt 6-7k Steel bars that I got the coal for through MTK. That why I won't get taken out. :P
  2. Very. I'm with him. OT: I've played through the first one and the only thing that annoyed me was when the two characters that I wasn't controlling would go in to their dialogue. I'd tell them to attack something in a room and they'd give me the "I'm on it!" or whatever but then they would just stand there, continuing their dialogue. Very annoying.
  3. Interface for the Sagas and information for the first Saga.
  4. Found him. I guess it's my turn to go hide? ;) EDIT: After talking to him and having him return to the surface a Bear Pealt appeared on the ground. This is what happened when I tried to pick up the pelt. EDIT #2: After talking to him on the surface just west of Thok, I unlocked my first Saga.
  5. I don't see where everyone was/is getting that loyalty was meaning you'd pay more money for items/etc. Loyalty is "the state or quality of being loyal; faithfulness to commitments or obligations". The only commitment people have with RuneScape is paying for your membership if you have one. The only way you'd be loyal to a company by buying things from them is if you buy something over and over for a long period of time; in this case it would be membership, not new items. How would you paying for new items as soon as they're released show you're loyal? It would just show that you want the best stuff. This update (when it happens) is for loyal members, so you would be being loyal the longer you've had a membership. I, for one, and very curious as to what the "Loyalty Rewards" are going to be exactly. I just hope they don't count it as consecutive months with a membership, since I've canceled mine a few times when I've taken breaks.
  6. Mining is one of the worst skills (in my opinion). Perhaps this will be a better way to train it that doesn't make me want to claw my eyes out.
  7. I think just one general topic about bots, pinned or not, would do just fine. I mean, the basic conversation about bots is generally the same; So there's no need for an entire sub-forum in my opinion.
  8. It's hard to say for me. That was way back in the RSC days. I believed the first thing I did (aside from spending hours walking around, getting a feel for the place) was quests. I've always loved quests and did any new ones the first chance I got. After that it'd probably be tried out the new Member's only skills.
  9. I agree with TrixStar, topics like this get posted a LOT. Perhaps there needs to be a sticky for "Remember when..." posts.
  10. Even if you're a total idiot the sentence "Once payment has been issued, we are not responsible for loss of accounts." should turn away anyone, haha.
  11. The Quest Guide says: E. Does This Disguise Make My Butt Look Big? Items Required: 8 free inventory spaces Items Suggested: Food 13. Once inside you'll see a bunch of supplies. Obtain 4 barrels, a barrel chest kit, a surgical mask, one roll of bandage and 3 gunpowder. Try going further in and get caught. Lock the door then head back to the ship. It should be: E. UNlock the door then head back to the ship. Also, just a suggestion. Might add something in this section telling people that in order to get the Barrel Chest Kit you have to click on where it says "Abscond-with Shelf" as it's not too clear (at least it wasn't to me) that you're supposed to do this to obtain the Kit. I just clicked on it and hoped it was right as it was the only option left, lol. Thanks!
  12. Oh, well I guess I just suck at searching then. :ugeek:
  13. Has it? Hmm, I guess I missed it then. EDIT: Ok, care to link me to where this has been posted already? I've looked and can't find it anywhere. This just happened today so you'd think it would be on the first, or at the very least, second page, but I can't find it.
  14. Close this. Apparently I'm horrible at searching. :geek:
  15. I'll probably do a bunch of Dungeoneering floors since it's my only skill that's below level 75. Once the multiplier hits 1.1x I'll probably burn up some charms to get a few Summoning levels. I suppose I should work a tree run or two in there somewhere.
  16. Looks pretty cool, I suppose. I guess I'll go give it a shot to actually know first hand how it is.
  17. Pretty cool topic. Sometimes I miss the "old days" of RuneScape. That first picture of the RuneScape Homepage was pretty neat to see/remember. Also the old pictures of the Stats menu. I have a picture somewhere on this laptop of the Stats menu from when I got 100 Combat, ages ago. Good work.
  18. I wanted a Visage, but this will work too I suppose. ;)
  19. Once you reach the mainland, Korasi will ask you to interrogate the people of Port Sarim about a missing Pest, without alarming anyone. First thing, talk to Captain Tobias. He mentions that Gerrant, the Fish Monger, has had his barrels smashed lately by something. Investigate around the side of the store and you'll notice purple slime trails. The above is a snippet from the quest guide. It should be mentioned (at least I think so) that you have to TALK to Gerrant in order for the purple slime trails to appear for you to track the escaped monster. All the quest guide says is after speaking with Captain Tobias to go look for the trails, nothing about talking to Gerrant. Nothing major, just took me a few minutes to figure it out.
  20. Anyone else having disconnection issues since this update?
  21. I might have to try these things out. Makes me glad I had 1,300ish tickets before the update. :P
  22. Sounds promising. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  23. 1.4M Reward. Not too bad I suppose. Too bad it wasn't some 3rd age. :P
  24. Your Gold CW armor will automatically change over to the equivalent type of the new armor. That's what my white set did in my POH. OT: I'm glad they finally updated the rewards for Castle Wars. I was a very avid CW player before I took my 2 year break last year, with just under 1,300 tickets. It's nice to see more useful stuff to buy with the tickets and to finally have something to show off how addicted to something you are. :P Sadly I need to play another 4,037ish games to get my 5k cape. :( EDIT: Also seems like someone messed up. All the shields are listed to be bought for 4, 40 and 400 tickets. When they actually cost 6, 60 and 600. I don't know which one is supposed to be right but I hope it's what the "shop" shows them costing (the 4, 40 and 400).
