Huge Noob

It seems I'm one of the few who actually likes the new website/in-game interface. I like the new layout of the Adventurer's log too. I am the 1%....

I've done ZMI before and it was ok. The only thing I don't like is (obviously) you don't control which runes you make, so the profit is minimal to non existent. I suppose if I just want the exp (which quite frankly I do at this point) then ZMI is apparently my only option. That stinks 'cause I was really hoping to make at least some cash from the levels. Oh well I guess. Thanks for the replies everyone so far. :)

Ok, so as you can see from my signature I'm working on 80+ in all skills. I have everything to 80 save 5 skills, and those are at least 75. My main concern is with RuneCrafting. Currently I've just been doing the Abyss/Edgville thing crafting bloods for cash however, it's quite slow and tedious (what isn't in RS? AMIRITE?). Is there a more efficient way to RC that perhaps I don't know about? Is The Great Orb Project worth doing? Personally I've never done it but I've read the guide for it here on Tip.It and I don't know if it is worth the time or if I'd even understand what to do exactly. Is there an unofficial world for crafting bloods? Do I need to stop whining and just suck it up? Help me. :blink: If you need to know my stats are in my signature (if that matters) and I've done all quests.

You sound like me. I've gained the majority of my exp from Tears, Troll Invasion, etc. I've NEVER done a team save the few times my IRL friend and I have done a few. I hate the fact that in order to get any decent exp from that "skill" you're forced to play with other people; which in turn is mostly people who log half way through or sit in the start room or even better yell at you if you don't go at their pace. No thanks.

I've vote for just splitting off f2p and p2p and having two different highscores or implement having "filters" that you can switch on/off to view Highscores by Members, Non-Members, Active Accounts, etc. [/2cents]

Having the same issues here. I figured it was because my internet speed is near the slowest my provider offers. Now there's hope that when (if?) Jagex fixes their lag issue it will perhaps fix mine too. :D

Ok, am I the only one who's completed the quest (including the extra 3k Prayer exp for freeing Arrav) but still has the light blue colored quest name? Am I missing something?

So I tried my hand at the Glacors. They are intimidating but once you get the hang of it, they're not all that bad.

Just so everyone knows, you CANNOT pot to the required Agility level. I just tried. Now to go get one dang level so I can complete this quest.

Did anyone else notice the quest length given in the Knowledge is "Very, very long". Hmmm :blink: Also, this is the first quest (possibly ever) that I don't have the requirements for. I'm one (1!) Agility level off.

Since RuneCrafting takes the longest of the last few stats I have to get to 80 I suppose I'm RCing all that weekend. Now I just have to get 55k more exp BEFORE the weekend so I'll be able to make Bloods.

You can switch from normals to curses there?! I think he meant switching FROM Curses TO regular prayers. :blink:

Is anyone else able to keep their "Vyrelord" title after the quest? I kept it on mine but have yet to run in to anyone else with any variation of the titles given within the quest... EDIT: Never mind, it puts the title there when you're wearing the disguise from Darkmeyer.

So the 150k exp can be used on any stat with at least level 69. I used it on my lowest skill (Dungeoneering) and got 2 levels (69-71). Obviously I don't know what the minimum level cut-off is to use the books on, if there is one. I personally really enjoyed the quest. For anyone who hasn't beaten him I suggest turning on the sound. The voice over work for the final boss is pretty awesome in my opinion. Great quest all and all. Nice work Jagex.

One requirement is to be a level 332 enemy. I wonder if it will actually be a challenge....

Seems to be working fine for me. This is the first time in a while I've actually been online for a System Update. I'm kind of excited, I'm not going to lie.

Let's just stop this right now before it gets out of hand again and this thread turns into a flame fest. 1. The flagstaff/whatever the new item is, is not rwt because it is free. The money is for the ticket, the item is to signify that you went to RuneFest in game 2. Even if it was rwt, which it clearly isn't, we had this discussion to death last year, jagex have made it clear they aren't removing the items nor giving them to everyone who wants it. Get over it [/end] You tell 'em! I still want to go to RuneFest. Anyone want to pay for my RuneFest/Plane ticket? I'll pay for the passport! :mrgreen:
