Huge Noob

I've had Safe Mode turn itself on whenever I leave the client open and my laptop has gone to sleep. I'll shake my mouse to wake up my laptop, log in and boom - Safe Mode is turned on.

I honestly don't know what my FPS was before everyone started have problems. Frankly because I never had an issue I.E. a reason to look at what it was. Now, I'm lucky to get 10 fps. My laptop is a few years old but can/should handle RS' requirements with no problems. Wow, when I saw the update I was thinking "Sweet!" seeing as the only Achievement cape I have is a QPC. Then I actually read the details and was very disappointed. Oh well, perhaps next week's update will be better.....? :blink:

I'm more impressed with the 90 RuneCrafting. That is simply a horrible skill to train, simply horrible. Congrats on the 80 Slayer, too. That crazy on a level 3 Skiller. :D

NEXT Chaotic? That would imply that I have at least one Chaotic, which I do not. I'm not too worried though. I doubt I'll be Dungeoneering enough to be able to keep a charge on one if I did have it. I'll stick with a whip. :)

I was actually excited for this update when I read it. Reading though 4 pages of replies here however have put me a little on edge. I suppose I'll find out tonight when I do a floor or two on the road to 85....

Thanks everyone. Here's what I got just a few days ago. You can see from the picture that I was close to an HP (sorry, Constitution...) level too. I got that one yesterday.

So for a while I've been working on this and with doing Penguins this week I got the last little bit of exp needed. So now I'm finally level 80+ in all skills. :)

If they'd of done Ninjas then nobody would be able to post on the forums. When was the last time you heard a ninja carry on a conversation? Never, that's when.

My fps dropped a bit after the bot nuke but I never knew it was a wide spread problem, I assumed it was just my laptop. I even called my ISP and upped my internet connection speed thinking the problem was on my end. Interesting....

Perhaps the person doing the group of edits that had Guilded armor in it forgot about Guilded until like the day before launch so he had to throw something together real quick so the update could go live? :blink: I like all the other armors, but I'm with everyone else with the Guilded. That's just atrocious.

Spiky on top, regular on bottom for comparison purposes: I only own the Elite, so I can do that one at least: Personally I really like the Elite Black armor. I wish it had better stats and I'd wear it all the time. I like all the other armor updates I've seen so far too. Good job by Jagex in my opinion. :)

40 Accounts? Why on earth would you need/want 40 accounts? :blink: OT: I like the Goggles and the Tool Belt/Money Pouch. I filled mine up right away as I'm sure it'll help out in my day to day RS adventures. I'll be glad when they add some more customizable options to it. Just have to be patient I suppose. The Money Pouch is going to take a little getting used to but I still like it.
