It's storytime! Righto, so I'm selling my loot from killing fire giants in Seers bank, world 2. A load of people come through all following a player "Dropparty. I'm quitting rs!!!!" She was saying. I followed her. There was about 30-40 people following along with me. "Everyone put Accept Aid on, and we'll group tele to the fishing guild" she said. She did a lunar magic group tele to the fishing guild. Outside the fishing guid she dropped a few items..Noted unids, a few runes etc. Then she said "After the next tele, the first person to trade me gets my Red phat, the 2nd gets my whip" OMG I thought, this could be my chance :) The next teleport was a lunar magic group tele to Ice plateau (lvl 50ish wild). About half of the people there teled along with her. Thankfully I didn't :D I recieved frantic PMs from the people who teled, one person lost his cannon and 11k c balls, another a big pile of cash.. etc The sad thing was how believable it all was. The "fake" drop party was so convincing, and everyone was so hyped up about the chance of getting a red phat. I was pretty darn close to teleing myself, but I managed to see through it intime :) Here is what I would have lost: About 5M in items :( Would you or would you not have fallen for this scam? Talking to someone after it, they showed my 50M of items and cash that they would have lost. EDIT: She did it a second time, I banked everything and got some screenies. NOTE: Hardly anyone was teleported, thanks to Hell King619's efforts, so the pics are nowhere near as bad as what the first time would have been like. EDIT: New pic, taken 2 mins ago :P :

I got double scammed way back.. My net worth was prolly about 400k at the time, I was buyin 1k coal for 100k.. Scammer switched to 100 coal and I payed 1kea for my coal -.- The VERY next trade I was selling my full rune to "help merch my money back" and the scammer switched his 224k to 22k A total 300k loss out of my 400k net worth. 75% of my net is a massive loss :XD:

If you dont want to lose money at all, and you need some leveling speed, knives would be better. However if you are willing to pay a bit for feathers, i'd go for darts, you make more so they last longer Fletching darts is a pain. :x Plates will be the fastest, but darts the most *profitable*

I'm surprised you havn't found anything.. there have been loads of similar posts to this. My advice: Do what you can to get to 90 combat. Then you can join Affliction and have access to the best PC worlds.

Yes you can, but watch out if you want to change to a bow/2-handed weapon if the shield space is off. :x

I used mith arrows with a mage shortbow at Fire giants. The drops pay for the arrows. :)

Righto, so I just recieved this e-mail from "[email protected]": I have scanned my computer for keyloggers, etc. The only place that I can think of that they could have found my e-mail address and RS username is on these forums, do you think that is the answer? Or am I keylogged :o

I would use pest control, except for the fact that it is incredibly boring - no excitement from great drops, not much opportunity for talking etc. I also do not have access to the "good" worlds, as my combat is only 83.

I've never been to the Brimhaven ones, but I can certainly say that the drops from the waterfall ones are great! Dragonstones, heaps of rune scims, r2hs, herbs, battlestaves, etc :D

Why don't you just get the HP..? A few lucky hits by a pure will .k.o ya with only 59 hp :(

lol... So we could wait around for maybe 15-20 mins to get onto world 2 or wait 30 seconds and be fair to other players. I'm pretty sure which one I would and do choose every time :o
