  1. bro :/ record 5 minutes of bc2, then 5 minutes of MOH, see if they sound at alll the same. - since I know you won't do this; we'll just have to agree to disagree besides which: even if the animations or sounds were the same, that does not change the fact that gameplay is fundamentally different to fuel my delicious ego my friend, and to remind that console gamers play on an inferior platform and pay more money for their games! i never played the closed beta, and perhaps it was, but I can safely say that i have had a barrel of fun playing it tonight, and would definitely reccomend it to anyone
  2. You realise it hasn't changed? If you mean it wouldn't be gamebreaking if it included colonies as borders; it would. There are such vast numbers of uncolonised tiles that when you effectively could colonise for half the cost of someone else who had picked something else, your budget would be twice as big. Which is too strong.
  3. They're not; but nor are they gamebreaking. It wouldn't be fun if everyone was closeness or overstretched, which is why they are useful, but not to the point where it would be folly to pick any but those.
  4. Sure change your ability - Remember to reset your budget - No ability changes after the reset, which is on the 8th. While that does sound like a lovely idea Retech, it would be too powerful. It has to be a trade off compared to the rest of the UA's as well, remember - On that note, on closer inspection, it seems that none of Dusty's provinces qualify for the closeness benefit. How do you work that one out Icu? I was under the impression that depending on the geogoraphy of your situation, closeness is the most powerful, hence why I buffed the other UA's.. But it's your nation.
  5. gonna post in here to say that I've just spent 5 hours playing the medal of honour beta and it's pretty damn glorious anyone who dismisses it as a clone of BFBC2, (yet purchases the 3rd version of COD4 released!), is talking nonesense - if you play the game for more than 10 minutes, the differences become recognisabe, not only that but MOH is a lot more fun than BC2, and faster paced. also gonna post to say that PC gaming is best
  6. From when you first told me about it Change it now if you want, but not tomorrow.
  7. Once a colony is complaint it functions as an established province Yes, only the colony labelled 1 would receive the bonus - Islands don't count; alas I apologise for not making this clearer, it is a lot simpler to write stuff down which you understand than making sure everyone will understand it! 24 Hours Nex
  8. So you are calling all your colonies immediately; in which case, you are aware that there is a 50% chance each will die? What I mean is: There is a difference between provinces and colonies (at least, in my head). Two existing, established provinces which are NOT colonies.
  9. at first i had an idea but a lack of syllables caused some fear yet now the reason for my lack of function is because i feel its time for luncheon hnerghhh, i need to get my toast in too bad, i would've carried on postin' i apologise for being unrelated but i can't stop my context being fated
  10. I coloured yours in bro; check my map, I updated Mathers
  11. Thanks man [hide=provisional][/hide] Here we go 1) Dusty, you need to repick your colonies if you want: currently those colonies will cost you (with closeness) 4.5m (one has 0 bordering provinces, the other 1) - though I will let you choose them again and consider them colonised yesterday due to mix up 3) Retech, just to be sure you know, two of those colonies are half price, but the southernmost two both cost the 3m; so 9m in total
  12. It's not hard to guess is it? The only difficult one is France and England; France is pink and England is yellow; though Dusty has changed his mind since then edit: wait, is my link broken? I can't access it
  13. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/848837/hegemony/4thoctcolonies.png ???
  14. This is correct. Only colonies with two existing bordering provinces receive this bonus. Furthermore, Nex has already sent a colony to your most north-eastern suggested one there, Dusty Yes, budget rolls over These are the colonies I am currently aware of: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/848837/hegemony/4thoctcolonies.png
  15. Aqua Blue - Iroqois, Florida Purple, horn of Brazil (I think that's still brazil!)
  16. Of course. You're not even a day late, Grim :P
  17. Ross: 1) Admiral (Storm) 2) Admiral (Fair) 3) Hold the line! 4) Infantry commander 5) Artillery barrage! @Retech: Each of your admirals is a Storm admiral and a Fair admiral too. For the record, storms have a 10% chance of occurring. This means the storm admiral has a huge offensive bonus during the storm but is unlikely to capitalize on that. Rocco, sure
  18. That's why Archi has 5 of them :P Can you redo your lovely map with the one you have chosen for me please? Oh, Trinidad & Tobago counts as one province.
  19. Thanks for doing the borders: But why exactly have you colonised far more than you can afford? @Retech Generals: 1) Infantry Commander 2) Admiral 3) Cavalry Commander 4) Hold the line! 5) Onwards! 6) Infantry Commander 7) Hold the line! 8) Admiral (Unless you only want land generals) 9) 'March' - extra province travel time for armies 10) Nothing. Sup. Alas, I have realised it necessary to clarify this: Colonies can be invaded and destroyed. Attacker gains no benefit.
  20. I'll be adjusting some of the UA's to balance them when compared with overstretched/closeness I changed Genocide and Materialism. @Nex, it's on his profile
