the reduction of damage, is not 50% its close to it. or so say some people. people think it totally hits their max when protecting from melee. and nothing else. unfortunately theirs no proof for any of this, their might not even be a "special" for verac. but it hits soo well on dharok armor their HAS to be something.

What's wrong with rc'en 40k ess to get guthan? if they are rc'ers they make there money that way.. I did it like that. For almost all my stuff. I never said there was anything wrong with that, infact rc'n nats is how I get my cash as well, I've just saying 40k ess takes a while to rc thats true, but I bet it took muchh more effort to get 12m than it did to get the spell (its really not that hard, not to mention all the magic lvls I gained [70-73]) i dont think any1 is here to debate rc'ing nats is good $ or whatever, the point is 12mil to hand over is a big deal, but people do it constantly. and 12mil honestly, isnt as hard as some people make it out to seem. woodcutting 12k magic logs while you do your homework isnt that hard. fishin 15k sharks isnt that bad(god i hate fishing) autoers made MILLIONS by sleeping. alot of people make millions of duels, literally EASY duels merchanting, standing in 1 spot typing all day SUPER easy, yet gets super $ if you have the time and initial investments of course. and "investing" as i call it, buying 2 santas for 2mil each, wait a while til they grow to 5mil each BAM thats not 12mil, but still easy $ where as this spell actually requires time and thought, i find the telegrab mazes to be a challenge. im not good with mazes and puzzles, also telegrab maze is ALOT more challenging then the enchant 1, hell i got 1k enchant pizzaz with less the 200 cosmics.

i just had a deul with a guy who was praying literally all of the duel, and eating all of the duel, and i hit a 21 on him with verac. now as 123yourgone said, it does "cut it in half" it reduces it like 3-40% not 50. and my max with verac would be 31. and i hit a 21, i took 31 times it by .35 i got 10.5 as a result so 31-10.5 = 19.5 realitively close to what i hit. so it still leaves a doubt it my mind, but true cabbage is gonna verify this with.

ive never seen verac hit its max thru prayer. some1 come find me and prove it. or let me prove it. and jagex gives me this lame answer...thats nota a REAL answer, its some shrugged off generic answer.

No it doesn't. Back on topic: There has to be some level of quality (both good and bad) for everything in the game. Or perhaps we're missing something about Torag's and there is some great way to use it to get PKs. Who knows? i dunno where this skewed misconception came from, but i have a feeling it maybe derived from, verac's skirt vs. torags legs theirs about 8 point diff in ranged def.

your both rite, i really like the looks of the puffed out long sleeve chainmail i WISH i could get that as my defaul shirt. with matching PANTS not some lame skirt oh well. if your REALLLY want to look good(matter of opinion) ghostly boots, gloves & cloak. + full ahrims with dharoks great axe. it just reminds me of literally "death" or how "death" should look. actually use the scythe looks better but as most rsers dont have scythe... meh you know what i mean i havent even play a full year yet, so i do not have a [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]

does the wand even do anything? like a special animation? id Really like to see the wand shoot fire wave from the wand and not just kind of from the middle of your 2 hands joined together.

craven, your VERY rite. but i believe theirs potential in ahrims set effect if it was more podent, recently i figured shadow spells + full set wouldnt be too bad, and ive yet to see some1 use this to their advantage, unfortunately the str lowering ability is random and not really noticable. If Ahrim spec hits as often as Karil, the effect is very noticeable. ive never had full ahrims special used on me other then the NPC but its like everything else its fairly lame. The effect from a player happens a lot higher than from the actual NPCs ;) If you don't believe me, just tell me, I'll duel you :) sure im up for a fun duel most of the time. (rsn-jessy61071) but whatever, i got no problems with that seriously if you get the time show me with some lame spell so i can see how good it actally works id be rather curious :)

dharok hardly EVER pulls of the big hits in my experiences, 9/10 times ill kill a guy in dharok at duel arena without me being in real danger ive beat 50 duels id say with people in dharok and probably 15 of those duels i hadnt lost more then 20 hp, which is much lower the axe its selfs default damage will do(at 80 str it does like at 25's i THINK) of course it can pull of the lucky hits, if the guy is smart prays pots and whatever, or just lucky. theirs times where ive been killed by dharok when i barely did any damage, next duel with the same guy, i kill him without takin any damage ;) i got VERY off topic about the verac issue. ill comeback to edit this with a response from jagex about hitting thru prayer. this was taken from the runescape manual my question about verac for proof that that wasnt made up

not always, with a mud staff its 26 peaches, 1 spot to replace the staff and 1 spot for nats = 208 hp. yes thats good and retaxis your rite its not just random their are times tho that you only have a few spots for bones, like 10 or less. i believe the only realy way would be to utilize it and not ever pick up drops do the spell get 25 peaches, eat as you go and pick up bones as u eat peaches, the draw back to that? no monster drops
