coif only gives 3 on range lol even a acher helm is better then that :D a leather coif gives +2 ranged attack lol that set is just funny any way. i find all sets have a use, but i own full guthan verac and karil no bow(works good on abbernats ;)) id have to say, ahrims. simply because of the look. and if properly used it has great potential when combined with a team. like the ahrim special of lowering str, with shaddow barrage + claws of guthix charged(from a friend, i hope) can lower all melee stats and hit REALLY good. skulled, just stay to piss every1 off, then ull have my respect :)

herblore, if the exp wasnt so low like if exp for identifying herbs was doubled maybe trippled, and the exp for potions was bumped up 25% itd be GREAT

you have to remember about verac is the special, and the brassard is about as equal as a dragon chain, and thats not even considering its magic penalty of -6, and d chains is -15, making verac brass +ahrim skirt and KILLER combination as i see it, all the barrows sets have a use, except for torag. verac-good for pvp, and kq. good magic def(as far as armor is considered) and a lower magic penalty then most armors which makes it marvelous for fight pits with ancients guthan- slayers dream, thats about all i have to really say on that. dharok-risky, yet if you DO go down, ull be makin some big swings til the end. ahrim- i find this set to be useful i guess, the full set effect(low str) combined wtih shadow barrage could be devistating. not to mention i like the looks of the top, it looks like a long sleeved chain karil- good magic def, and seriously thats about it. of course you can range with it, but why not d hide? torag-good defense, after that i dont see any appeal to it at all especially since its god awful ugly. dharok and guthan armor are close to the same def so i guess if your gonna shell out 3mil you may as well get dharok and do the big hit thing.

the set effect is a joke, thats why its so cheap.

well the tree WAS there, maybe they subltly changed it when they put it back but i dont really seem to notice a big difference i mean i cant say 100% for sure that theirs a change because ive never studdied it really

Exactly. Printing money (high alching) leads to inflation though. The point is that only rares seem to be effected by that inflation the way it is now. that is because the rares market is the only market that can really skyrocket. theirs few things that rival the rares market when it comes to the exchange of currency, mainly id say barrows items dragon chains dragon weapons and newer items like the mudstaff and such. of course you cant forget treasure trail items, robin hood hats(are these the "psuedo rareS" every1 refers to?) have not doubled in price YET, but are nearing it, when they were really stable they were like 1.8 mil now their going for 2.5's and up.

by no means is the x-bow anything id consider "fast"

runescape history is very interesting. and dramatic not to mention mysterious jagex always is a let down on things like history and such. like for example, the thazzar people i thought omg this is insane when it first came out, now as i was meleeing them i found theirs thazaar people that are beyond the walls and gates and stuff deeper in the volcano and im disappointed the gates have not been opened to use, even if a HARD quest was required it looks like its worth it hopefully they add a lava book to the thazaar place describing their history which requires ice gloves to read it.

I believe I remember them saying that they will use programs to find which accout is mainly used and gets all the stuff the autoer drops to it, so they can ban the main's. If the main is rich from the autoer then they could have phats and then the main gets banned as well meaning less phats. id really like to see a phat count on Rs2. id really be ammusing. i doubt the autoers mains will get banned.

i believe the cross bows are mainly a gimic because you cant smith bolts. and gettin barbed tipped bolts are pretty lame and they seem a little slower the dragon thing, well their are safe spots and protect from magic reduces their hits when ur walkin around the enclave. so yeah i mean they could be great but then again a hassle dont foget zammy book ;) +8 ranged

i sense sarcasm... Karil's armor does really suck, but killing him is such a pain. he's the only brother to ever kill me... i don't attempt him w/o prayer anymore their was no real sarcasm, that set is REALLY lame. i found it funny frogmite complained about it or somewhat did. karils is a literal joke, torag being the next thing to a joke. i have full karils my self, just not the x-bow because, x-bow hits hard but slow, yet cant pickup bolt racks and addy arrows are cheaper. and then the armor is cool because i use it for magic slayer monsters. thats all nothing else.

oh you mean because karils best thing is its magic def? the x-bow is OKAY, melee def of karils BLOWS and the ranged attack boost is same as black d hide, and karils coif is +3 where a leather coif is +2. and lowering agility is the best thing EVER.

I believe that you are thinking of the Abyss. I just double-checked and I am getting 4 Def XP per damage dealt which I believe is standard fare. Feel free to post any other Barrows myths that I can prove or disprove while I am down here. :twisted: lol id be funny if you got like 3 of each set, couldnt carry all of it. id be like, that sucks. Firstly, I HIGHLY doubt that I will get anything good but I can't continue to Barrow without knowing for sure the effect of KC. :oops: Secondly, I am going to return to the chest room for the final 25 with nothing but some salmon just in case I DO get a full load :twisted: bring a friend just in case ;) and bring rune armor not the crystal shield and drag skirt that way IF you do get TO much, you can drop the rune armor and put on the other armor

Actually, I do. Much quicker for me just to melee them with Barrows, DDS and Whip than to spend ages trying to kill them with a Dragon Halberd. I use verac + whip and d square, hallies should be removed, if you melee, fight like a man :roll: You make a very valid point, and I'm sure that the really rich, lazy, afkers will still buy guthan, but I know people who will rc like 40k ess just to get guthan, so they are not considered rich or poor, but in the middle. This spell is very helpful for these people in particular. You save tons of time by just guthaning. I trained with guthans at skeletons with whip and I was able to not waste any time banking or eating. I love it. dude seriously, i do not understand your runescape financial situation at all. especially when we talk on runescape lol. i dunno how you could fail stuns from 97 to 99 magic. and how you got guthans really, cuz last time i saw you, you struggled to get ahold of dharok. but honestly your the most entusiastic melee trainer ive ever really talked to congrats on your 99 magic tho, thats cool.

This spell is very helpful for these people in particular. id still like to know your RSN, but yeah. im very content with my financial situation on runescape, i dont hold a large amount of money by any means. and guthans and its repairs are nominal to me. honestly, if you crafting a very LARGE amount of nats, guthans probably isnt the best at this time seeing how all the other armors are dropping guthans will SOON follow. just dont expect some to beable to trade verac for guthan next month
