  1. Question #4 - For the first 6 monthes of lifting you will get very fast\good results (if you're doing everything right). After that your body becomes used to the overload on the muscles and starts to slow down on it's progress.
  2. I want to first begin this with do not let yourself starve in anyway (but don't eat excessively) because allowing your body to start staving make your bodys metabolism lower and when that lower anything you eat increases your weight by more then if you were to only eat a little bit every once in a while. The best eating habits for losing weight is to eat every 3 hours (not late at night though!). 3 hours is how long it takes for the body to digest food you ate 3 hours previously so if you eat a small amount of food every 3 hours it doesn't allow your metabolism to slow down, but actually speed it up and help you lose weight (You can't lose weight by just doing this!). Schwarzenegger had recommended weight training but that is not needed if you are losing weight. Weight training, push ups, and sit ups are some of the most common thoughts to losing weight and targetting fat loss. You cannot target where you lose weight, your genetics determine it, but as you lose fat in other places you begin to lose it in other places too. You cannot do 100 sit ups every day for a year and pig out and thing you will get washboard abs, because this is not true. Although you might have them under fat they will not show at all. If you want to go into weight training and losing weight that will not happen. For lifting weights you need a lot of calories (depending on many things) and for losing weight you don't need even half the calories for (in most cases). I can't type anymore tonight, I will finish it tommorow. Thanks for your patience.
  3. I think they mean soul runes because there are no life runes. :? And the comment on them coming back is how Jagex uses them for spells and you can RC them soon too. (Before they had no sensible use)
  4. Cj although you can post statistics on a game that does not determine wether it is a great game or not. I can prove that by showing you the RSC to RS2 conversion. The new graphics are what got so many other players to get it. People are overwhelmed by graphics easily and could careless about gameplay. So posting statistics like that does not determine a good game. The reason RuneScape is not so highly respected like WoW is because it was not made by an all-time great game making company like Blizzard. When Jagex created RuneScape they had to take a chance with it but for Blizzard they already had such a huge audience they can just make great graphics, add in a few fancy screen shots before realease, and boom huge suscess. I guarentee if RuneScape was made by a big company like Blizzard and realeased as a CD it would get the same ratings as WoW. IT may not have as many players as WoW though because of peoples niave view on graphics making a game good. Well, I will leave it at there for now, and see if you actually care to leave more then a one sentence post before running off hiding.
  5. Off Topic: Cjlhdevil you obviously put in little thinking on comparing the two games. WoW gameplay is absolutely hidious. The way to level up on it is to do quests. Although that doesn't sound bad let me sum up EVERY quest in 2 sentences. "Kill X amount of *Insert Monster* and bring me Y amount of *Insert Item*." "Walk to *Insert Town* and talk to *Insert Character." Now sure some may argue that you can fight to level up but they is slower then getting 99 skills on RuneScape. Also you talk about just clicking on RuneScape. Well I am sorry to break this to you but thats what you do on EVERY game. Although some may have a combo of buttons there are certain buttons you press most of the time. WoW is no exception either. RuneScape not having good party support is true but that it part of the fun. You can only go with people you know and trust not to just go within 5 minutes of it. Guilds are stupid on all games in my opinion so I will not go into that. Graphics are no reason to not have fun on a game. Anyone who owns a Super Nintendo will most likely agree with me that it had the most fun games. Although the graphics weren't real good who cares. Gameplay is what makes a game fun, although if incorporated right graphics can only inprove it but they can also ruin it. On Topic: 8/10 - RuneScape 2 - Although it is thought of to be a better version of RSC that is false. Many things that were fun in RSC are taken out on this version. 10/10 - RuneScape Classic - Sure this game was addicting but thats goes to show it was fun. On summer days that all of my friends were busy doing other things I could spend all day on it before. 2/10 - World of Warcraft - This game would be great but the lack of things to do ruins it. All of the quests are the same so leveling up is boring. Many things to improve on in gameplay. If they were to fix a few things it would be a great game. Well, I am done typing for now, I will add more later.
  6. That's alot of colors...well, overall in runescape that is. Maybe if you could only see the damage done by you? How is that a lot of colors? All you would need to do is have a different color backround showing on your screen then everyone elses. On your screen it can show on specific backround but what shows on your screen isn't show on anothers. In example, you and two other people are fighting a monster. On your screen your damage has a green backround(hypothetically) but on the other two players it shows as red (default). Although this idea would be good Jagex always finds ways to ruin possibly good things. They would put a green\blue backround on it when it should just be a lighter red(pink, as someone else said).
  7. This game is very fun at first but after a while the only way to level (quickly) is by joining a party which can be hard at times. This game is fun at first when you can level quickly without a party but once you reach a certain level it takes hours to level one time and thats just around level 20-30 if I remember right. I will admit this game is fun for a week but it is not something like RuneScape which is fun for monthes or even years.
  8. I was laughing when I read that because you posted 3 things in a row and only 1 of them had to do with the disscussion. --- You also seem to think that Duke is trying to say famous art or a masterpiece of music has the same sentimental value as a phat. That is not what he is trying to say, he is sayign that the "feeling" is the same. Although the amount of the "feeling" varies it is still the same concept. Let me ask you a little question that will help prove this feeling. Seeing how you seem to think that skill leveling is much more important then having a lot of money why is it? It's not like you raise skills just for the heck of it, it gives you sentimental value and makes you feel like you accomplished something. Although it may not be as much sentimental value to you as a musical masterpiece it still gives you some sentimental value.
  9. Well, yes the scammer is getting rich unfairly but he has to use wits to get his stuff so he is putting some effort into it. He isn't like the afk trainers(nothing against them) that have hours to just sit at monsters all day. So the people who can afk train most of the day then come along and kill the person get rich more unfairly then the scammer because he has to use wits. Yes if the inventory was brought back that would be good but lets say a scammer has 26 sharks 10mil and a free spot. They then scam a mask and have a full inventory so they go and bank but only get 1 report for that. Then when they have more room they go and scam another thing and get another report or 2 and so on. Then what happens with all of the items, it's not like they would increase your inventory space just for the time. (You had a good point and mad me think on this one but I think I came up with something good enough to argue it, but maybe not :))
  10. Well, there are some flaws in this. The first flaw is Jagex doesn't like people getting rich "unfairly" so what happens when a high level with no money kills a scammer that scammed a phat? Thats right they become rich unfairly. The second (not realy flaw, just something I don't like) thing is keeping that scammers in the game is stupid no matter what. You said Jagex should have to look over the reports before the "black skull" is put over them, but by that time people can easily bank their newly found wealth and it doesn't effect them. So instead of Jagex punishing scammers they just let them be able to be killed anywhere for what isn't a very long time compared to the forever it is now. ;) Although I think it is good that you are trying to figure out ways to prevent scammers I had to point this out because you wanted people too. So don't think I am just trying to sit here all day proving people wrong :P. Also if anything I said is some what inaccurate tell me because I only read over the post once so I most likely did type something inaccurate.
  11. Off Topic: But you don't realise that it is not the detail in the picture it is what the picture is expressing that makes a person like it. On Topic: Why do people bother posting hear saying that phats and all rare items are pointless because they do nothing for skills or armor defense\attack. I mean really if they are as pointless as you guys try to say why should you complain about your competition on buying rares instead of the raw materials you need for your awesome skill leveling. As Duke said earlier without the rares many prices would greatly increase. Also some of you guys have to realise not everyone is exactly like you. People like different things, my favorite color may be green but does that mean because your favorite color is blue I can't still like green more? That is almost exactly what you guys are saying because some people do not care about skills and go for rare items and collecting while other think skills are more important, but just because people like different things doesn't mean one or the other has to stop. Taking out all rare items and selling them in the stores will be no reason either. One reason is because when more newbies join the game after that you will just hear a lot of stuff on the forums of them complaining about some "noobs" saying phats used to not be sold in stores. As Duke said though, if people get the money for the "value" of their party hat prices of raw materials will sky rocket and (my add-on) then we will just hear all of the people complaining about phat prices being high complaining about the high raw material prices. If you take out party hats and sell them in the store also there would be no point to them. I mean really, how many people do you see walking around with a rubber chicken or yo-yo compared to party hats and masks. The reason people don't wear the rubber chickens or yo-yo's are because they are nothing to show off because they are cheap. There will be no rares if the partys hats and other rares were taken out. When taking out rare items dragon items will become much more common and cheaper. With people not merchanting there will be more fighters which will increase the amount of dragon items making them common. Having a party hat has nothing to do with how long you played anymore. Out of every that has a party hat right now I can guarentee you much less then 3% of them have saved them since the drop seeing how at that time they were worthless. Party hats and rare are essential to the Runescape economy and will not be taken out because some people cannot afford them (unless Jagex makes another stupid update like the brown cows  ) and so they say skill raising is much better. So I leave you with these words: "If you like to use money for skill leveling do it, and if you like to use your money for merchanting do it." - Me :P
  12. Katsuro thats not what I was saying. When you have a party hat you have more respect. I never said it is the most respect you will ever get. So next time read my post instead of the first two sentences. :P
  13. Also why is it the rare masks and phats that come up for the removal from the game? I mean there are plenty of other rare items Easter Eggs, Disks of Return, Pumpkins, Christmas Crackers, Half Wines, and so on. Why is it that the ones that cannot be easily shown off by wearing them need to be taken out of the game. The simple fact for that is people want them but cannot afford them, so therefore they complain just like everyone else who cannot afford one. Also you say that it's okay to merchant raw materials because people get something out of it. When people have a party hat they earn peoples respect and have a sense of being wanted in the RuneScape world. Just like in real life people want a sense of "wantedness". So would you prefer pointless higher numbers or a sense of want by other people. Also everyone wants to be wanted no matter who the person is, although some might not show it. You can try to argue this all you want but wouldn't you say it is ironic you only pick out masks and phats the only ones you can show off by wearing them and all the other rares aren't even argued about? Oh well, I am interested and hope you prove me wrong because I know there are always things I don't think about (as a friend from runescape always proves to me).
  14. Little do you realise though is you wouldn't be complaining about insane prices if you didn't want one. No one complains just for the sake of complaining. You are only complaining about these because they are cool items to have to show off to people. I mean I am sure cracker prices raised too with the drastic party hat price increase but you aren't complaining about them. Why some people may be thinking? Because they cannot be easily shown off by wearing them so people don't want them and don't recognise when their price increases. Also how is it unfair to get rich by merchanting, unlike everything else you need no high level skills to get rich off of it. So the option of merchanting is open to everyone, weither you guys take the oportunity is your choice and your choice alone. So really getting rich off items is the unfair way (from your standpoint.).
