  1. i think the finished piece is excelent, maybe if you look at it in real detail, you can see some faults, but overall NICE WORK
  2. way back on rs classic, i died coming back from the great demons pking, i was on about 6 hp and i lost r2h to a chaos dwarf... to this day, im still hunting that chaos dwarf wielding a 2handed sword
  3. well if you had played since the start AND loved rs classic as much as i did (along with thousands of other loyal paying customers) ... to have an entirely new game, with the exception of minor similarities, inposed apon you, you would not love jagex quite as much as you do now. look at it like this... eg: youve grafted real hard to raise your skills and your combat level, you've invested several thousands of hours on a game you love, then one day, its over because the owners say so. sure, it continued for ppl who wanted to continue to play, but the game had no point, no meaning, it was ravaged by autoers and was always going in a downward spiral until its certain death. how would you feel if they were going to get rid of rs2 and made a new game that you didnt even like... thats how many felt and thats why many are so angry even still. it shows the attitude of jagex towards their customers. Andrew Gower is the 10th richest person in britain under the age of 30... thats means he's got a hell of a lot of money... he's made this by creating a great game in the first place (RSC) and used a great advertising ploy of letting ppl play for free with the option of playing... quality spoke for itself and most people would pay for it once theyd played the game to its full on the free and want to get more out of it. i just think that he could have shown more respect to the original customers that helped catapult him to success by at least including rsc in the main game: as a mini quest of a lost city trapped in time (as one example)
  4. arch mania - we learned a lot about catchin together and had fun. afro archer - a cool guy, didnt know him very well but overall, probably the most honourable guy i knew. blick - all 3 of the blicks were kool jimmycocoboy, todgerboy and gingerpyro good english mates dan da short, spideyz, pkashmuk - my best mates from rs
  5. they wouldnt be worth much as anything rare that u cant wear, never really takes off in price: eg. pumpkins, easter eggs, half wines compared with p hats, masks and santas
  6. TKS quit a long time before rs2 was released, me and my brother used to work for her/him amd he told us he was quitting and gave us a small fortune when he was quitting once u didnt log on for a long time, your removed from high scores (well at least this is how it used to be)
  7. I didn't see alot of flaming, merely arguments against his idea. I personally think it's a load of nonsense. I've looted 2 rune meds before from lessers, within the space of 5 minutes, meaning that the theory Fook put forward is pretty much impossible. I believe that there is a calculated chance of finding an item. Lets say 1/1000 Drag Chain, 24/1000 Drag Legs, 100/1000 Rune Baxe, 875/1000 GP. So there is Always a chance of finding a Drag Chain, but a greater chance of finding Drag Legs. The Drag Legs will therefore be 24x more common a drop than the Chain. Although more likely to be found more often, there is still a chance that you'll find 10 chains to every 1 legs you loot, even if it is highly unlikely... theres nowhere other than wiz tower with only one lesser, so u obviously got from a different lesser demon. read the argument before questioning what someone else has already answered
  8. Ahem no. RS2 DID come out at 2001. Nothing personal, but people like you annoy me like hell. You people are too lazy to search the exact date before posting, and are convinced of your own statements. I had a conversation with some "newbs" at fire giants erlier, they called me a "newb" because they were convinced RS2 came out in 2001. They were 100+, so it's quite shameful they still don't know anything about RS-history. Inform yourself before you post such statements, it can be VERY annoying... It wasn't wrong info; I was thinking of the different update. 2001 had a big update in RS, it changed into something, I played then, to us it WAS New-RS. Calm down, I never called you a newb. your thinking of the wilderness update, everywhere used to be wilderness until that big update in december time 2001, after that, wilderness was a separate place to the north where people would fight (like it is today) this was my stats at the same time rs2 was released and still the same as today if u want to check high scores: oh and this was my bank towards the end of the game hawkyy rsc were good times 8) yeh, rs2 doesnt even come close to what it was like back then :D
  9. i dont think either of them do, i know a lot of old people play, whether theyre ppl who are famous or not, i dont know
  10. I think what fooks theory can be likened to is the random player on windows media player (hes not saying the monsters hold items in their pockets or they only drop theyre rarest item once per update) hes saying that if you have 10 tracks on a playlist, it will play them all through and not repeat the same one... so in rs: lesser demon would drop: 10 coins (100 times) 20 coins (50 times) mith shield(4 times) mith chain(2 times) 20 fire runes(30 times) 150 fire runes(15 times) rune med(1 time) *(this is just an example...)* so once its dropped its rune med, it will have to drop everything else before returning to drop its rune med... he is merely saying that if u get a rune med drop before the update, you will not have to wait for it to drop everything else before another rune med drop. however, you will still have a 202/1 chance(if u use my example) of getting a rune med once the server is refreshed. instead of flaming like idiots, why dont you understand his idea, which is quite possible, then give you views. i dont know if it works like that or not, as someone pointed out by explaining java programming, it could work either way. *NOTE*: FOR THOSE OF YOU TOO LAZY TO READ EVERYTHING, HE IS NOT SAYING EVERY MONSTER DROPS THEIR RAREST DROP THE FIRST TIME THEYRE KILLED AFTER SERVER UPDATE!
