No, they haven't, it's still there. Your brower is probably loading the page from its cache. Just refresh it or clear your cache and the new map will be there. As for Jagex expanding the map though, hopefully it will be soon. But they kinda walked themselves into a corner when they did the Kharidian Desert. I can't imagine a desert suddenly ending and there being a striving city south of it or something. They will probably have to keep adding more and more desert related updates to complete that area, which will get kinda repetitive :\. The place is already packed with quests and such. Or maybe a sea and eastern lands? A "Sea" area would be nice I mean this area would be an ocean whith lots and lots of islands, central islands town, and such
