merchanting... 2nd best way to make money using skill at studying the market. 1st best way to make money is to gamble... or go to duel areana and fight people for money.

- i doubt there going to crash... basically people that will be able to buy and sell them then are people that already have them or people that stake. - Jagex will never make them untrabale seeing as if they did they would lose thousands of players... therefore losing thousands of dollars - but it really is unpredicable but price can go on forever pretty much... say selling blue party hat for 2bill and 5 santas, or some other item.

- i think ur alittle confuzed. Rares are gaurnteedprofit because they will always rise. It may take it a while to rise above a prise u payed for but it will rise above that. - If you really want to try something out thats gambling try staking. People bet 1-500mill on a single fight.

So you're saying that I have to isolate myself from the entire world, not be able to talk with anyone that's not already my friend, and not be able to make any new firends just because of one person? Well, actually a lot of people mine the Essence, craft the Natures, make their own bows. That bring pure GP in. So calm down. I don't even know why I bother posting on this forum anymore...I don't think I'll ever make a thread again. i just dont like saying or hearing the word noob, n00b, newb, newbie.. or anything that sounds like it. Really it sounds like the person who says it is a five year old. Most people use this word as an insult such as your a noob becuase ur hogging all the coal, you wont sell me what ur wearing, or i am mad cuz ur better than me. They replace calling people "stupid", "greedy", "selfish" with that stupid word. People that use this word are people that cant debate or ague to someone about what they dont like. But yes most people use this dumb word because it DOES offend fragile people that have no backbone. - Next time if i were u just keep ur public off or switch worlds that takes 2 secs and problems solved.

- blue party hat is the most selling for around 210mill... cracker is second most expensive then it goes down the lost of party hats.

rare prices are going up alot faster but they have been about the same for a week or two now with maybe alittle change here and there but nothing major... - as for the prices changing... people that sell for like 10mill higher are price maniuplaters and just trying to get profit. If you look at the buying prices you will see maybe a couple 100k change during times of days but nothing like 10mill difference.

- 1st it is very smart to invest in a rare... how do u think people become rich?... people invest in rares. skills can make money but nothing compared to holding a rare a month or 2. - If jagex got rid of rares there would be tons of people to quite the game... basically cuz they would lose millions and people wanting to get them or close to getting them cant so they quite as well - That brings me to another point.. someone right above my post said now that he got a mask make them untradable.. i dont c how fair that is just because u got one. As i see it rares give people something to work hard for. I think people are just upset because some people got them free, and some people had to work not as hard as they do now to get one. - I dont see y though everyone that doesnt have a rare should complain... if they dont like them go back to lvling ur skills or whatever... and leave the people alone that like them such as merchants. Before u say anything im lvl 85mining too so i play this game too... and also not all merchants scam but repectfully buy and sell items to gain prfoit (As they just made a article about this) - So ya people hate rares cuz they cant get them, are jelous, or have to work harder than the people before them did to get the item.

2-4.5mill a day. 2mill being the minimum and 4.5 being on real good days.

ya i agree with everyone that i wish i had a friend on the game like you. I cant trust anyone with money (lost over 3mill) or a party hat (which i have also lost)... So after losing money and rares to friends that i though ti could trust... i gave up on trusting anyone in the game... maybe there are a few good people left in the game like u =) Hopefully one day someone can regain my trust with them...

ya i believe that have gone down slightly but you can still sell for 300 each.. just takes alittle longer. But i dont believe this has to do with autoers... i believe it has to do with the update this week. I was selling yews fine till the 2hander dragon weapon came out. Then that day and the next there were no buyers to be found because they were all of killing that moster for the dragon weapon. So i believe a bunch of people got impatient and started selling them lower so they could get rid of them. Now that buyers see them lower the price some they wont it to stay there and not go back up to 300. Atleast thats my thought on the whole matter

umm thats not really scamming.. i think ur talking about beggers.. but really i dont see this really that much of begging. He could just be boerd and just want to dance and actually see if people give him money. Lol i know i have and still do sometimes when i get bored just do stupid things like dance... and hey y not see if u can get alittle money while just having fun and doing nothing? :wink:

only advice is when u get people from ur school addicted to the game dont trust them. I hear more and more everday that their best friends, or friend in real life stole money, or a rare item from them, or their account. - so if u get someone addicted dont trust him with ur account or items

i would like to know how much money you make on average a day staking with mage?

Many people feel like party hats cant get much higher and that there crazy at this price and that there will be a crash soon. lol i remember people saying this when blues were 80, then 100, and now. People will always complain about these pirces everytime it goes up. I also feel they will be around for quite a while.. crackers came out before them and there still around. Watch though.. when party hats reach 220-250 another post about them and their prices will come up.

blues arent 210 if ur real lucky u might get 200... but there between 150-180 right now. But most people that play runescape now wont be able to afford them. Only people are merchants, stakers, or people that have already had them... or if u play 24/7 other than that i doubt ull get one

I find there are much better things to do to noobs then kill them. I myself usually ask them to mine me iron or coal and i pay dirt cheap for them like 40 for iron and 100 for coal... so noobs can really help you make some good money =). But if some guy comes up and starts begging the fastest way to make them leave is go about ur buisness like their not there... For me they stay a minute at most. Some people say give them alittle something... but what ive found is once u give them one thing, they want it again and more then next time and time afters.

ya true people hoard them then sell them all back making tons of money and putting more rares back into the market. Saw a person today with 3 or 4 party hat sets and was selling them all.

Well i have to agree with alot of people here that i am tired of everyone complaing about the rares... - if you dont have one and dont care for one... Then dont worry about it and keep using ur money on ur skills or whatever u do - if you dont have one and want one... Work hard to earn ur money and be proud of when u finally get one, dont complain that its too hard.. any person thats played runescape for a while should know by now that nothing comes easy. But i guess no matter what happens there will alway be people complaing about rares. 1) If they keep rares in people will complain about rare prices 2) If they take rares out merchanters and investors will complain. I just wish that everytime that a rare price goes up, that a million people wouldnt come on foums and stuff and start complaing that rare prices went up again (WOW HUGE SURPRISE)... you would think these people are expecting rares to decline or something after they have been gradually rising since they came into existance :roll: Anways people who complain about rares.. just stop... work hard to get one or keep using ur money on wahtever u do, all ur complaing and whining will not change that rares will always be expensive, end of story!

you can make great profit on smithing and smelting.... 5 iron ores= 500gp 10coal = 1500 5 steel bars= 3000gp (600each) 3,000-2,000= 1,000 profit just with 5 steel bars!!! and seeing how iron is easy to get u could be making alot more money than that... so in my opion smithing is great for making money!!
