Spirit Banisher: F2p quest made by p2p player
DarkDude replied to Flame_guy3's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
There's one problem I can see is that this quest would effect the story lines of some P2P quests... -
~~New Friends list. *Pics*~~*Siggy*~~Support List~~ OF. SIG
DarkDude replied to Viktorkrum77's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Great idea, I often forget who a lot of the people on my friends list are. So maybe there could be the ability to add a comment to their name? -
Yes, they'd go on the floor, not too much hassle though. And you could take the cape or whatever is for fletching off whlie you do it if you don't want the extra bows. It would only be what? 2-3 bows per inventory? Can easily bank the bows you made, and pick them off the ground, when I make Dough I let it go on the ground, then bank my stuff and can pick up all 14 dough before they appear for other people. With the items not being F2P, to be fair most of the f2p skills are going to be much more effective for members then f2p anyway. But maybe there could be the level 90 capes only for the f2p skills, gotten from a New NPC in Varrock somewhere maybe? And nope, -10KG for both cape and gloves was NOT a typo, -20kg would be well worth it for anyone with enough effort to get 99 agility, although thinking about it -20 is A LOT, so maybe the cape can be -5? (Or Gloves at 90 which are -5, and cape at -10)

Yeah, same as RAHK, I just kill the monster that spawns every time I open the door. Always have 10+, sometimes goes as high as 20, but it's pointless going higher than 30. Edit: 1989th post, the same year as I was born in :D *doesn't make any more posts*

Updated the guide with places to buy some of the meat.

And it would be 1/111 of the time to get the 6kc, thus you can open the chest 111 times, which would be more money. Just get 10-30 KC.

I hope I'm not spamming but, I doubt you will be anle to enter that city any time soon. They already have enough problem with pickpocketing humen in Lletya, I doubt they would let humen access the city because of the problem with pickpocketers in Lletya, I hope you understand. Human* And we probably will get into the city with the next quest, It's been there for about 2 years now, probably more, and the Elves trust you now...

It's been around since Decemberish, and there's been a few topics here on it. Well, you know now anyway...

new prayer page??like marmite love it or hate it?
DarkDude replied to mrmyk's topic in General Discussion
I just tested it and it doesn't seem any faster... Smite = 1 point per however many seconds. Smite + 15% prayers + protect item + Rapids = 5 points per however many seconds. Seems right to me. -
I had three minuties to kill the whole wave i was on so I could log out? Not happening. Even if I could have logged out, the last I knew, you couldn't log out in the fight caves. My friend did a while ago and he found himself outside the caves. So the information that I could was unavailable. The transition period between waves was about 5 seconds, so even if I had finished of the wave, I wouldnt have been able to log out if a monster had spawned within range of me. Click logout and it says "Log out now to not save progress, log out after wave to save progress" As soon as you finish the wave it tries to log you out, if you're being attacked after 10 seconds you can log out as NOTHING spawns.

Anyone got a picture? *is too lazy to go onto runescape* -
Trust it to happen while I was posting about it =P

That's impossible. In the few hours before updates Jagex are working hard, double and tripple checking the changes they're about to make to try and reduce the amount of bugs, if a massive one comes up, they have to delay the update, and I'm sure the Runescape forums would be an excellent place to be when that occurs... Also, when an Update is realeased there will be a few bugs, and some of which are major and require a fix right there, usualy an hour or two after the main update took place. You can save the fight caves anyway, and I'm sure 59 is the one BEFORE the double 360s, should have logged out, and then come back in, you'd have gotten a few seconds to put mage protect on, plenty of time (Although, they should increase it now with that stupid slide bar :/)

Just incase anyone was wondering, the "prayers" the Kalphite Queen does DO NOT effect max damage you can do, just decrease accuracy.

Used to be dragon drops, but got over that *points to sig*... Although if I get any more chains or a 2h (The only Dragon drop I'm yet to get) then it'll start. Strangely enough, at abyssals it only seems to go when I get a drop that LOOKs like a whip (Black sword) and when I get a whip I'm just like "Oh, ok" Pking if I'm in dharoks or fighting someone in a barrows set =P Or If I've just come back a pking break and haven't pked in a while so I'm not used to it.

I posted this before, but must have been a year ago now, my idea is to have two "items" per skill (At 90 and 99) that effect the skill in some way. frustration
DarkDude replied to Darkduellord's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Ouch. What I do when I go down is just bring full guthans + mage stuff and I go with a friend. The other day we were doing a trip, we got there and had to switch 3 times to find an empty server. Near the end of our trip a team comes, and proceed to run around like morons, I think 2 of them died and 1 of them teled, but there was this 107 who insistsed on maging with me and my friend... After he realises his team has gone he attacks supreme and thus supreme attacks me and my friend, causing us to teleport out because some bloody moron has no manners, luckily we both amde it out alive, with our disapointing loot that trip... -
What is the Barcrawl for again? I remember doing it on RSC, but can't remember the use of it...

Intro This is a guide for people who don't have 85 slayer quite, but still want to slay abyssal demons using Wild Pies. First off, you need Level 80 slayer to kill these, but I wouldn't recommend doing this method until ATLEAST 81 slayer. THE PIE To kill Abyssal Demons with only 80 slayer you need to make wild pies, for those who don't know Wild Pies add +5 slayer per bite and have 2 bites per pie. These pies are made from Raw Chompies, Raw Bear and Raw Rabbit aswell as the usual Pie ingrediants they require 86 cooking to make, and even at 99 cooking you can burn them (Unless you use the Cook Pie spell) To get Rabbits the best place is just East of the Elf village (The one you teleport to) Go though the trees, and south at the wolves, and on your east there should be a little gap with about 5 rabbits in. To get bear meat It's best to do it in the mine outside of the legends guild then either using the Legends Guild bank, or Ardounge South bank. For Chompies, it's the only place you can really kill chompies, Feldip Hills. Of course, if you're lazy you can buy Pies for 10k each, although sellers are hard to find. You can also buy Raw Bear meat from Canifis, and can buy Raw Rabbit from the new ship boat people. The best way to get flour is from your POH from the larder, for jugs and pie dishes use the chest in Lumbridge Castle Dungeon. THE EQUIPMENT Once you have your pies (I'd recommend getting atleast 100 at a time) it's time to head out for Abyssal Demons. You have a few choices on how to kill them: 1) Using Rune (Or torag/dragon etc.) With a normal weapon (Whip, Dragon Scimmy) Inventory: With this inventory, you have 10 pies and basicly the rest sharks, Why? Because abyssal demons go on hax hitting sprees and I found that I could always manage 10, sometimes 12 but never much more than that. Equipment: Replace the Bunny ears with a Warrior or Berserker helm for more defence and accuracy/strength. You need a shield rather than a defender for the extra defence for when they go on their hax hitting sprees. The dueling ring is there because you can tele out with it, and I don't have any charged glories. It saves an Inventory space for a teletab or crystal etc. And as far as I know, Ring of Wealth makes little difference. 2) Guthans + Whip This method, in my opinion is the best method to use, instead of 10 pies per trip, you use 20 pies which means less running back to bank to restock. Inventory: Inventory is basicly the same, but with 20 pies instead of 10. Equipment: Equipment is what you would expect, has a rune defender instead of a Rune kite because with guthans you can heal more anyway, although an Obsidian shield would be best. 3) Dharoks The inventory is the same as normal, but the equipment is just dharoks. What you do with this method is attack demons, and when you get to <15 hp you heal with a shark and repeat :) THE METHOD From there on it's pretty simple, you make your way to abyssal demons (Located in the Slayer Tower), when you get there eat half a wild pie, and kill demons until you're 84 slayer, as soon as you hit 84, eat another pie and repeat. Do this until your last pie, When you're down to your last pie, save your dagger special, when you eat your last slice of pie, switch the 15% prayers on. And kill until you get to 85 slayer, once you're at 85 Special the demon you're on, and it should poison it, this means that if you fail to kill it the poison will finish it off for you. Notes: 1) I have no super sets as I feel they are a waste of space for this, I'd rather have 3 more pies then 3 spaces wasted for a super set (Or 6 in guthans case) but that's for you decide. 2) You NEED 85 slayer (Base) To get an abyssal demon head, you CAN NOT get it without it. EDIT: NO YOU DON'T! I JUST GOT ONE AT 83![/b] 3) With 82 slayer I can kill ~8 demons per pie (4 per slice) at 115 combat. 4) Change the ammount of pies/sharks ammount depending on your combat level, the higher your combat level, the more pies you take and the less sharks. 5) Each trip you should be getting about 100k from drops (More if you get whip) These drop a lot of rune essence, rune chains and rune meds aswell as clues. The ammount of demons you can kill per pie varies on your slayer level and your combat. But it's roughly: 80: 2 81: 4 82: 8 83: 10 84: 12 That's based on 115 combat, + or - 1/2 depending on combat. End part I think that basicly sums everything up, Doing this method I've had 11 whips and a dragon med (Off my 3rd ever demon) My longest time without a whip was about 150 pies so A bit more than 1000 demons, and my best run was 2 in 5 kills :)

DarkDude replied to 2handeddagger's topic in General Discussion
Hmmm, it was either Druidic Ritual or Fishing Contest, I remember trying witches house, getting the monster and trying click on my food. "Hey! Why isn't it healing!" *Examine Raw Pike* "Oh dear you are dead" According to that picture I have herblore, so definatly that. That picture was around the time the KBD came out I think, can't remember...
