Nope, the way the mod said it he clearly meant that you needed a BASE level of 85 to get it and not the boosted level. The mod did seem very confident of what he was saying. The point of this topic was to not say that Jagex were wrong, everyone makes mistakes. But it was here to inform people that you do not need 85 slayer to get the Abyssal demon head (Which wouldn't be hard to program in...)

Jagex hardly owned themselves. You discovered the gap in knowledge between customer support responses and the people who actually code and create the game. Either way congrats on the head. Where did I say Jagex owned themselves? I didn't. I asked Jagex if I could get an abyssal head without 85 slayer, they said no. And as far as I'm aware I was the first person with under 85 slayer to get a head and to make sure that people knew that you can get one without 85 slayer I made this topic...

Yeah, that was fun. Got 3 meds doing that, and have had none since >_< I remember when they "fixed" him once, I went there to see, and I just stood there for ~30 minutes without being attacked, told Mod Mark about it and he came to check it out. He took a bow with him and some arrows, When he started ranging it, it simply ignored him and went for me, needless to say I died. He then teleported me back, and it was his turn to die. He also mentioned that he got the person that made the KBD to come watch and they were laughing at me getting killed :(

Quick Badly written guide. Items needed: Chisel, 3 swamp past (Maybe), about 10 rune essence. Start by talking to Sir Tiffy in fally park, then head to ardounge and go south east. Once you're in witchhaven go Northeast to the platform and speak to the guy there, ask him about stuff and ask him the important people. Speak to The Mayor, the Priest and the guy to the north, then speak to the guy in the rocking chair again. He tells you go investigate the saradomin Shrine. So go to where the dungeon is that has hobgoblins and Ogres. Once inside there's a wall to push, enter it and walk to the end. Then your commorb will speak to you, on the way out pick up three dead slugs. Go North West of Ardounge to the Making history place and speak to the guy, now head back to Witchaven. Speak to the priest and you'll need to find 3 pages. 1) In the mayors house, search his desk. 2) Speak to the fisherman guy 3) Speak to the guy in the rocking chair. the 3rd page is in pieces, use some swamp paste on the pieces and your commorb will shout, go to the fishing platform and speak to the guy. He'll make your dead slugs into glue, then stick the page together. Next go get about 10 rune essence and a chisel, and make ATLEAST 2 of each rune. Then take them to their alter and use them on it (NOTE SOMETIMES THEY CAN FAIL AND THUS WHY YOU MADE MULTIPLE) Then go take them to the door and put them in. Pwn teh Prince slug and you're done. Reward: 3.5k Runecrafting, Crafting and Thieving + 1QP Ability to buy new armour, Same as Iniatite but +3 prayer and about +50 to the defences, can come with skirt.

Quest complete. The new armour gives about +50 more defence than the old one, and gives +3 more prayer. Skirt is avalible. Pics in a sec.

How'd you get there? I'm stuck where it says I need to search the alter... I have no idea what to do.

99% of the time the people who get black marks deserve them. If you feel the need to break the censor to say offensive words then you're asking for trouble. I have no sympothy for people who censor bypass just to swear. I've been playing for 5 years and never been in trouble, I don't possibly see how you can get a black mark unless you run around swearing at people.

How am I meant to train if I can't get online? =P

One of the eight login servers goes down, trust me to be on that one :/ I only logged off because my mum phoned me about something pointless. Ohwell, Abyssal demons were really starting to annoy me anyway (1500+ demons without a whip now) Who else are the unlucky ones who can't get on? Maybe we can find something to do in the 2/3 hours It's going to take...

Despite my sig, I'm actualy VERY unlucky. I go a few hundred DKs without a drop in site, then I get one. Currently on a 1000 demon dry streak... And I've killed a few hundred KQs since my last chain. Have terrible barrows luck too, not had a drop worth over 1M for about 300 trips...

Hardly... If you don't use Guthans to kill abbies then It's the same as without pies. I've only spent 2M on pies, and gotten the rest for free, or exchanged whips for them. I've made over 20M from killing abyssal demons

Just get 82-83 and use pies.

I wrote a guide, it's in the Archive of Wisdom board you should check it out. It's Definatly worth it though. 200 pies = 2M, with 200 pies you SHOULD get atleast 1 whip, which will mean you break even with a little bit extra. Plus all the rune drop and stuff makes some ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâãÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâãÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã My longest time without a drop was about 130 pies, of 1000 demons, that was slighly annoying. But I generally got 5 whips per 200 pies at 82 slayer.
