Logical day for hunting to be released???
DarkDude replied to Kenshinjapan's topic in General Discussion
What are you talking about? They said construction would come out in that month's BTS. -
The camo gear which you can store is most likely different "outfits" depending on what you're hunting. From the Chaos Elemental letter last month: Basicly, we have to dress up as a bird to try and "fit in" and get their guard down before we catch them. This will be one of the many different methods invovled in hunting. 95% sure anyway, and the Camo stuff that was mentioned to be stored was a set of this, so in this case it'd be a bird outfit (Most probably south the Feldip hills)

Let me guess, you were ingame saying "Selling lobs" over and over?

Can't really remember anyone elses name I've liked so I'll just post some of mine =P 0wn Age (PKer) 0wm age (Mage Pker) Raw Meat PK Koed with 0s Nod Modlor (Mod Noldor) Mad Mork (Mod Mark) -
I saw this topic earlier when the picture was posted and knew I'd seen it somewhere before. It is indeed the weapon from Soul's Bane.

At Abyssal Demons clues now come with coin drops. (Or a coin drop comes with clues) No idea why Jagex are doing this but I'm not complaining.
-
One thing I thought about the other day was how "user-friendly" it is. There's no items I can think of that I had no idea what they did when I first heard of them like so many other fantasy games. There's no "Goster of Conter" or crazy things like that which are completely and utterly unobvious what they are. This makes it so someone who's never played a game like this before can get into the game without first having to know hundreds of new words.

Except for the fact that Fally is a multi zone.

The Path to the Phat... COMPLETE
DarkDude replied to Leesters's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Red party hats are the best, I really miss mine =( Stupid "friends" I don't have the patience to get the 200M or what to get one doubt I even have 10M atm, Stocked up on Barrows supplies at the moment and see where that gets me. Anyway, good luck on the party hat and if you need some company at barrows then just ask me, I'll be there for a while. -
I believe Jagex has only done a small number of rollbacks and I can't remember why, I know there wasn't a roll back for the big dupe in RSC. And thinking about the 200M cap, it most likely is just a visible cap and the real cap is 2.1B. Would be very easy to code. sub lobstercook player.skill(7).addexperience (120) if player.skill(7) > 200,000,000 then player.skilllist(7) = 200,000,000 end sub end if player.skilllist(7) = player.skill(7) Basicly that (It's VB.net though =P) When you cook a lobster you do procedure "lobstercook". It then adds 120 experience to player.skill(7) which could be the cooking skill. It then checks if the experience in this skill is >200M, if it is then it changes the displayed (player.skilllist) value to 200M, if it's not >200M then it displays the real value.

Lol, you can't be banned for glitches such as that, they're harmless.
-
Yeah, it is a pretty weird thing to limit. I guess you could say the same for the skills, why stop at 200M exp? I guess the only way to find out is to ask Jagex. I remember it being something like.... the integer limit in Java is 2^31-1= 2147483647 Both correct and wrong. That's the LongInt max value, 32 bits. Java can infact go up to an integer with 64 bits although using this owuld take up a lot more space. As I already stated in this topic the 200M limit makes no logical sense.
-
The 200M cap doesn't even make any sense, it's not like it's a max amount a variable can store so it's not as if Jagex would be wasting space by letting it get to the max amount that could be stored in the variable they use.
-
Just stand there laughing at the fact that the person is going to be banned while I'll lose nothing. You just stated you have your party hat on you, nothing else. So if you die you lose nothing, Simple.
-
Completely forgot about that and that's probably the best reason for it. But to the other part of this topic, what other things on RSC randomly died out in RS2? I'm sure there's plenty of stuff I just can't think of it.
-
Actualy you can. Just that when you try and pick it up it says "you already have a clue scroll"
-
I never hurry people up, although I swear one of my friends has the getting ready genes of a woman. When going to Dagannoth Kings I get my outfit and inventory ready in a matter of seconds. I then have to wait for half an hour before he gets his stuff ready...

If I took pictures of every time I saw a "famous" person/mod/tiper then I'd need to buy a lot of hard drives. I can understand funny screenshots and old screenshots but just don't understand what's so good about "famous" people

Whatever happened to the "Press 989 to buy raw lobby certs!" That everyone did on Runescape classic? Why has everyone stopped using it? Now it's just a boring "Buying raw lobs" I don't even remember why/how the "press xxx" thing came about, I'm pretty sure that the person who was trading with you appeared in the chat box like it does on RS2. Any other things that you can remember being the "must do" things in RSC but died out for no reason with the launch of Runescape 2?
-
Only time I've done anything like that was when Dragon Scimitars came out. I rushed over to Ape atol and bought 3, 1 for me. I then sold for the other 2 for roughly 1M. I also sold my death talisman from MEP2 for 500k the day it came out as I'd never use it (I opened it up so I could abyss it, I don't even have 65 crafting or whatever you need anyway =P). Not my fault people were willing to buy for that.
-
I just want it to be a skill where there's no other "player interaction" Such as Fight caves and some things from the newer quests where you can't see other players. Otherwise the skill is going to be impossible to train on day 1, ala Slayer. Farming was done really well (In the way you can only see your own patches) and hopefully Hunting will be the same otherwise It'll be hell. Also if there's buyable things you need for the skill (like slayer) Jagex need to make the stock infinite otherwise you'll wait for an hour just to get the item needed to start it.

Draynor had Fish (Lobs, Swordfish, Maybe tuna?) Ore (Iron, Coal) Bars (Iron, Steel) There was a hut just north of Ardounge which had log notes although I can't remember which ones. Towards the end of RSC there were some added in Yanille, Super Attack, Strength, Defence and limps were the main ones I can remember but I'm sure there's more.
-
The main trading area on RSC was Varrock, west of the castle. With 2 other spots in Fally east and draynor. I like it in Falador Park at the moment, there's a lot of space and everything has it's own area. I can't really think of any "landmarks" in Draynor that'd be used for trading so it'd be hard to tell someone "Yeah, whips go for sale near the willow tree" "Which willow tree?" "The willow tree that's not there at the moment because it's been cut down" "They're all cut down..."

.::Post Pictures Here Of All The Jagex Mods You've Seen!::.
DarkDude replied to Iv_Green_vI's topic in General Discussion
As I've probably said before in this topic I don't understand what's so exciting about Jagex Mods. I bet you don't go up to police officers and follow them while asking where they got their hats from and if you can have free stuff...
