Farming. I'd have about 100 of tree seed ready with plant pots for each. Then spend the 10 minutes putting as many as possible in plant pots. You ONLY need the level to put in the pot, you can plant the pot in the patch without the required level. So If I have a lot of spirit seeds and mage seeds i'd get a lot of experience for lower levels.

Things from other games that would and wouldn't work in RS?
DarkDude replied to DarkDude's topic in General Discussion
Well I really meant similar games to Runescape. RPGs, other online games and such. Surprised it's gone this long without "Being able to steal cars like GTA @@@@@@@@" -

"Oh dear you are dead" screen from RSC, that owned, it needs to come back. For those of you who don't know when you died the screen went black with red writing saying "Oh Dear, you are dead" in the middle, stayed for a second or too =P -

Apparently there's one or two minor things that don't work with it. I might go back to using it (Did over a year ago, then it didn't work on here, but I fixed the problem ;)) once it's made legal. -

To all people who complained about SS being banned: You can now not complain if Jagex doesn't release updates "on time" as things such as this is what causes the Updates to be delayed, the amount of mayhem caused will probably see an update pushed back a day if not more. Mods had to deal with all your whining both in game and on forums taking away time from making the game better. -

Surley you just said something about it and thus your previous comment is a lie and you do have something to say about it? =P I don't understand why people are so angry, there's lots of things you can do solve the "problems". Use mIRC, use tabs etc. -

Hence why I mentioned it in my original post ;) I just hope they haven't abandoned the idea :( -
Other games similar to Runescape do things different to Runescape, what ideas from these games do you think would work and which ones wouldn't? From Diablo 2: Drop System (Appears for EVERYONE): Wouldn't work at all in Runescape, only works in D2 due to the fact you can have private games. Coloured Item System: I could see this working in Runescape actualy and it would cut down on scamming, have Discontinued items one colour, "Rare" Items another colour, Quest items another etc. For example. Rune Chainbody - Rune Items Dragon Chainbody - Dragon Items Black Candlestick - Quest Items Half of a Key - "Rare" Items Enchanted Top - Treasure Trail Items Blue Mask - Discontinued Items Random Dungeons: It's needed in Runescape to make it more exciting, add a chest at the end with some rewards that would be a mixture of TT and Barrows (Not the rewards, but the kind of rewards if you get what I mean). This is what I think Jagex was going to do with Randomly Generated Scenario's and it would be fun going there with a few friends. That's all I can think of at the moment (/ bothered to type =P). Post what you think of how the things would work in Runescape and discuss other features in other games and how they would or wouldn't work in Runescape.

I beg to differ. I still think Strider should file a law suit. A law suit? For what? Making a program that is now against the rules? It all the time in other games. -

It doesn't offer any advantages but it's still against the rules. Jagex has to stop people downloading programs such as SS incase they contain keyloggers, the easiest way to do this is to ban programs that people would consider downloading such as SS. People will see the fact that it's illegal and realise that if the attempt to download programs that their account will be banned. They want to keep their accounts so they don't download them. Simple as. -

It's nicer to have it all in one nice package along with a ton of other convenient features. Use Firefox or IE7 and use tabs then. SS was useless. I use Firefox and have Chatzilla open like I showed to talk to people and if I need to look someone up in the highscores or look up other information I open a new tab. -

Now what can you complain about? There's IRC chat, High-scores and the RS client all in the same window screen. Would be a lot easier to do with a larger resolution (My Monitor only goes up to 1024x768) Now quit complaining. -
The beatles did a song like that called I am the Walrus, which there is a line stating "I am the eggman, they are the eggmen" ~Mininglaser That's an easteregg in an easter egg. Sort of like those russian dolls =P Quite a lot of them are like that and have multiple sources due to it.

Those were my thoughts when I saw that too. Hopefully it's the most difficult quest yet, none of the others were too difficult at all =/ Perhaps you should try doing quests without using the guide, quests like MEP2 or DT really are much more challenging when you don't know exactly what your supposed to do and knowing exactly how to they fight and kill them. I NEVER use guides for any quests and I do them the day they come out, including DT, RFD, MEP2 and Monkey Madness and yet they're still easy. MEP2 is the hardest quest but the puzzles are still nothing too hard. lol trying to show off? and he didnt say it would make them hard.. he said it would make them harder! storp tryin to show off :shame: He assumed (Wrongly) that I used quest guides, I told him I didn't use them and they were still easy, what was I meant to say? Lie and say that it made them uber duber hard?

Pest Control experience SHOULD be lowered. Why do people who risk nothing and spend nothing gain the most experience? Pest Control also is really boring (in my opinion), each game is basicly indentical and there's no "suspence" in the game such as wonder what drop you'll get. I've got all my 99s by training on monsters and will continue to train using monsters as IMO it's the superior method. I'll make A LOT more money by training on monsters to 99 then I would be using pest control.
