Jagex are making a new game AFAIK, so some new subscribers will go there aswell as some RSers will play both. So if they need it they'll have more coming in from the other game(s).

What more do you want? We've told you why it doesn't work, given you an example it doesn't work yet you refuse to back down. It won't work, it's been tried and it failed.

Lets see, it gives the best combat experience in the game. There is no risk and you don't even need to bring anything with you? You get about 1k a game + a lot of experience. Yep, that makes a whole load of sense. It's ruining the game, it's as simple as that. Before you had to work for everything but Jagex is slowly killing the game off. Cook-x, Fletch-x, Smith-x, pest control. Might aswell have "Alch-X" next...

The reason you have to change is lower levels find out the world and it becomes populated with them and thus you start losing more games so you have to switch to lose them. A PC world defeats the point. PC is crap anyway.

Saw some guy with the plate and legs at abyssals the other day, cost him about 120M for both or something :o Said the helm was ugly so he wasn't getting that and the kite isn't worth it.

It's quicker to have one of the items above the other rather than next to each other. Note sure why, but it is :P

Does anybody else notice the irony in that statement? Yep. I also think that statement is stupid. There's NOTHING wrong with being a "nerd". So what If I'm smart? I see a pattern here... Out of the 3 of us that have posted so far our lowest ones have been fishing and mining... Mining, while I didn't like it as much It was alright to train. Fishing was my favourite skill and that's all I ever used to do =P Now it's just boring. I prefered having to click on the spot every time to fish, was much more "fun" imo. Same with pretty much all Non-combat skills. Hence why I went from a non-combat person to a combat person with RS2.

1702/23 = 74 Higher than I expected actualy =P Although the best way to do this is to get your total experience than divide that by 23 to get your average experience per skill then see what level this would give you. 80,243,878/23 = 3488864 xp per skill. Which is 85.

Attack, strength, defence, hits and maybe mage = pest control Prayer = have bones in advance and use gilded altar with runners. Ranged = Pest control OR cannon + arrows/knives at dagannoths Runecrafting = Death crafting with constant runners Mining = Iron? Smithing = make best plates Herblore = make best potions (Just adding 2nds) Thieving = Pyramid Plunder Crafting = Craft best bodies possible? Fletching = Attach rune arrow heads Construction = Making the most "expensive" item possible. Mahogany table I believe is best for this other than uber expensive stuff. Farming = Plant trees, do all patches. Hunter = No idea Woodcutting = Willows? Firemaking = burn Magics Fishing = Monks or Fly fishing Cooking = Sharks or cooking summer pies (Already put together, just need cooking)

So you were f2p fishing in a p2p area, you died for no reason, didn't lose your items, and asked some jmods that you had on your friends list... #-o ya i was gonna ask the same thing... how were you north of seers on a free world? Answer: Log out there in a p2p world, log back in on f2p. It used to work. Actualy, if you logged out in (MOST) p2p areas you'd log back in on water. The only places this wasn't true for were areas right next to f2p (Taverly, edgeville dungeon). So I doubt the murder mystery area would appear in f2p although I never tested. What was good was that you could get to the mine west of falador on f2p servers without any crowds. Was good back then as you didn't have to bank and if you continued mining the items appeared under you.

If the Barrows thing you're talking about was about a place called "Barrow" then that's not what it's based on, wiki barrows and you'll see. Saying barrows is based on something irl is like saying bows are based on something irl...

Yep. Who knows what factors Jagex throws in into their "random" drop formula. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_seed It's likely that time is a factor in drops and it wouldn't surprise me if the things about the server are used in calculating it too :)

I think I've found mine in the past week. Did a DK trip, got 2 axes and a zerker ring, pretty good for a 2 man trip. My best trip ever. Did another dk trip the other day and got an axe plus some other decent drops. Yesterday had 170 gargs for slayer, got 4 larges, 2 mauls, a clue and 3 pairs of addy boots. Got Zammy bracers from the clue :) Just done a 137 Nech task, got 4 pairs of boots and 2 larges my best nech trip ever, and it wasn't even that big of a task. So, do you have a server that you find luckier than others and if so what makes that server lucky? Just for those interested, It's world 31 :)

As said above it's 1/1000000. Also, why wouldn't jagex allow it? It's possible to get 6 third age items from a clue just like any other item. AFAIK each clue part gets you a "reward", a "random" number is generated then compared to a list of items, if the number matches to that of an item you get that item. Simple as. Unless of course Jagex has a different method of getting clue reward rares like they do with monster drops but I doubt that.

I don't Jagex thought people would abuse it by just killing the Portals which is why the experience is so "high". Jagex have just failed to nerf it since people did start abusing it.

I think that firecape should get destroyed, but instead of having to earn it again you could buy it back from the guy for about 50k tokkul? Rune defender should also get destroyed and gotten back the same way. For Fighter Torso it'd cost you 125 points of each to get it back after getting it for the first tme. For the Rune kites and larges you can trim in your house, when you dropped them they'd return to normal items and thus can be traded. This would greatly reduce the people using these items to pk and get the good loot back again.

Barrows Gloves are the most annoying thing to lose when you die. can't get them back again like Defenders and they're not tradeable so the other person can't get them. Have to pay 130k each time you die as you can't run back to get them =/

My Lucky addy square. Took it at DKs and got an axe and a zerker ring in a short space of time. Then took it to abbies and got my first whip in 1000 demons. Although I stupidly took it pking and lost it :(
