Yeah, I have the same bug with making the key. It only effects gold it seems as I made a silver key just fine. Although I suspect that the gold key isn't needed.

That's awesome, well done! Have had a fairly productive weekend myself actually gaining a similar amount of levels across various skills. Keep up the good work on those quests, I'm sure you'll have no problems at all with the rest of WGS. I'm sure that'll be a few more levels for you too :D

Well, there would be no discontinued items on such a server as none of the characters would have been around for the Christmas events all those years ago. There'll be no bunny ears, yo-yos, zombie heads, etc. either I guess. You know, thinking on that, although there won't be discontinued items there should be no reason for Jagex to give your character access to holiday untradeables if your RS character on the normal server also has it. It is all the same account anyway and has minimal impact on game play. Be a way to show you have an old account even though it's on a fresh character. I'll add that to the first post. My main point was that such items have a major effect on the economy would be interesting to see what would happen if they were obtainable elsewhere and thus not "rare" or something.

Eh, having a "high" (it's not even very high) skill requirement doesn't make the quest hard. At the time I think I just had the level to do it and had no problem with it. This was while figuring out the puzzles as I went along and not following a guide too.

I don't understand why people think MEP2 is hard? Never understood that, I did it the day it came out with little difficulty. I wish there were more quests like it actually, the puzzle was somewhat challenging as it requires you to think in 3D. I really can't remember struggling on any quests, some took a while to do with parts that weren't obvious and there have been some rather difficult boss fights throughout but if you're prepared and read a guide they shouldn't be a problem.

Question with such a server, what do you do about buyable rares? Do you leave them out completely and make them unobtainable? Or make them untradable but obtainable through a shop or something. Would be really interesting to see what effect each of those would have on the economy.

Still seems strange to me to see people discussing using ranged for "normal" killing. Think I'm still stuck in the mindset of ranged is only useful for bosses and killing things in cages :P. It is good to see that there are multiple ways to train with ranged to be honest, but as others have said the testing isn't anywhere near enough to draw any conclusions

Making pyre ships (with a magic log) gives you 3x xp for 5 burried bones; with brawlers in the wild that would be 7x. Compared to 3.5x+1.5x=5x with a gilded altar. However prayer brawlers last for 1275 bones, so you would need to make 255 pyres, plus you need to burry the bones in the wild. Why you would want to kill dragons I don't know, seeing as it'd take more time and more risk, and provide far less experience than using ourg bones. It would also cost nothing. Compared to the price of ourg bones. Your response really has nothing to do with my question. I did not ask for advice on how I should use my prayer brawlers, I asked if the bonuses worked with the bonecrusher.

Hey guys, Does anyone know if the prayer brawlers and the Chewed Bones bonuses work with the bonecrusher? I've had some prayer brawlers for a while now but haven't really figured out a good way to use them. I'm imagining that using them to slayer dragons in the wilderness while having the bonecrusher on me would work fairly well. Cheers.

I suggested such a thing a few years back now myself. I would love to see a new set of brand new servers, where your character is separate from that on the normal servers. I think it would be very interesting just seeing how the economy builds up and just to see how different everything would be to "normal" RS. I don't think any changes to the game would be a good idea, at least nothing major. Maybe one or two things in regards to resources but that'd just make the game harder to update in line with the normal game. I would love it and play the heck out of it, I don't imagine it'd be too hard to implement either. Shame I don't see this ever happening though.

Can you update the codecs on things like that? That's one advantage a Media PC would have over something like that in my opinion.
