Note to self: Pugging RS was not a good idea. People seemed to struggle with the concept that having a debuff = run away from raid along with don't stand in the line of death between the orbs.

Same situation here! I've seen people in my groups get the Scythe and the Frostling pet in their bags and nothing for me yet. I've seen the Enchanting Recipe drop a few times, but the Scorchling pet has never dropped either : / Scorchling isn't there this year. The two people I've seen get the Scythe were both DKS >_<

Wow, just had the worst group ever for Ahune on my mage. Seemed there was only 2 of us actually doing any damage, the tank wasn't picking up any of the adds and the healer was failing at healing. In the end it ended up with everyone dying, so I just dotted the boss up quick and ice blocked, dots managed to finish him off. I collected my bag and left. Speaking of which, still not had anything from the bag, done it every possible day on both characters and nothing :(

Finally did some ICC10 HC today. One shot the first 3 bosses then there was not enough CC on the beasts for the 4th so just did that normal. Then one DPS had to leave so we 9 manned Rotface HC, one shot :) Got the mace + shield so that's a huge improvement for me :D. Hoping for the 264 neck next week (never ever seen it drop on normal), chest from Deathwhisper and bracers from Saurfang and will be full 264 :D

Want to explain exactly what's bad about this? I've seen lots of people complain about this but no one has provided a reason what's wrong with it. You let Jagex dictate site decisions in return for concept art. There you go. :thumbup: What site decisions have they dictated? They asked us to remove game ads, which is no big deal at all and effects nothing.

Previously we have disallowed all discussion and images posted from the Runescape cache, although were often lenient on enforcing this rule. We have decided to allow images from the Runescape Cache on our forums, this means you're free to post them without any action being taken against you. However, you may NOT discuss how to obtain these images from the cache and any images must not contain any of the programs used to achieve this. Asking for or providing instructions on how to obtain images from the cache is strictly prohibited and will be taken seriously if you're found doing so. These new rules will be enforced immediately. I believe there's TWO rare drop tables. I could be wrong but here's how I believe it is. Gems, half keys, rune javelins, dragon spear, shield half in one drop table (one effected by ring of life). This is applied to 95% of monsters in the game. The amount of these drops varies per monster, for example Goraks and Ice Strykewyrms drop from this table fairly commonly. Then there's a "high level" drop table. Which includes Dragon Med, Silver Ore (100), rune drops (67 natures, 45 laws etc.), Steel Arrows, Rune spear. And a few more items that I can't think of right now, these are NOT effected by Ring of Wealth. This is completely separate from the above drops. Dragon Med is also a "special" drop for a few monsters, King Black Dragon and Mutated Bloodvelds for example. As far as I'm aware Dragon Sear/Shield Half are NOT a special drop from any monster in the game at this point in time. Gems are a special drop from Tzhaar. Rune Javelins are special drops from a variety of monsters. I do agree though, it would be nice if there were more global drops that are very rare. Doesn't have to be anything amazing, just more variety would be good.

What would the corp beast be wearing? :P I also highly doubt they give NPCs equipment, it's much easier and simpler to give them the stats rather than relying on armour. IIRC this is the first time we've ever controlled another NPC like that, so doesn't surprise me that armour/weapons is needed as that's how our characters work. And also explains why we need to deposit items before entering this area.

You'll need a credit/debit card to do this, a payment will be "held" against your account (to verify it basically, which is standard practice). You'll then have 7 days membership. If you cancel within those 7 days then no money will be taken from your bank account, otherwise after those 7 days you'll start with a normal members subscription.

except that there will be basically 0 demand and huge supply, rune boots are now better and cheaper. So Rune and Addy boots will be going up in price? Awesome, means I make more money doing slayer. There will be a demand for them once the prices of the other boots raise in price. Wouldn't surprise me if addy boots climb to 30-40k or so, and rune boots to >100k. With people alching them the supply goes down and over time the demand will go up.

The communities reaction to this update will have a much larger effect on the economy than the actual update, sad really. I don't see the point in alching/selling these anyway, if I had a stock of them I'd list them on the GE. The only way to obtain these now is to pay 75k, even if the GE price drops to 60k you'd still be making significantly more than alching them. For this reason not quite so much money is making it into the economy as people expect. It shouldn't have a large effect and while I agree the change and the way they went about it was wrong the overreaction people are having to this has given me a good laugh. You have the top two in the middle the wrong way around.

You're right, instead of mage just losing to range, we also have mage losing to melee wearing d'hide. So much better. This has been an issue for YEARS. And then there's the PVM aspect I actually spoke to Mod Mark many years ago now (just when it started happening) regarding melee wearing dragonhide and he agreed it was a problem. However, now it's too late to change anything, wearing mage defence armour for some PvM stuff is required and it would break a lot of things.
