How was it failed? Added a whole new tier of clues and a bunch of awesome looking rewards, the god sets help out lots with GWD too.

Yes, well, the Knowledge Base has a knack for getting things wrong, which is why TIF does original research like this. I'm not saying don't research, I'm just saying where most of the rewards are. Also, these are probably all accurate because why would they say you can get something when you can't? They don't give "normal" rewards from the clues so this helps with that and just generally is nice information to have.

By what the clue parts are. I'd prefer to be able to tell immediately whether or not a scroll is worthy to pick up :P Level 3s are worth doing. :blink: If you can make 3M an hour and a scroll takes 30 minutes, that means you'd have to expect at least 1.5M per TT. If clues are taking 30 minutes, you're doing it wrong.

They can still drop level 3 clues, so make 100% sure it's elite. And record all the parts in the information topic!

I've got a Level 3 in the bank at the last step - search crates in Lumby windmill. How do you know if a clue is on its last step? Clues have a maximum of 7 steps, I kept mine at 6 to be safe level 3 for me usually end at 5-7 ;) I've done around 300 clues slaying which doesn't sound like much but it is concidering 85-99 I did a clue every task I had one and now I'm approaching 20M slay xp :P 300 isn't all that much :P. I hope with this update the number of steps in a clue actually means something unlike at the moment. It was nice when each part of the clue gave you a reward. So you'd get 4-6 items from a level 3 clue when it was 4-6 parts long. Then I believe it was the emote clue update that completely broke that.

I'd rather they split the updates up then waiting until they're all ready and releasing them at once.

I've been accused of botting several times for not responding to people. There's no rule that says I have to respond to you so don't assume because I'm not speaking that I'm botting. Also had someone at Dark Beasts the other week basically say "You suck because I have a higher combat level and slayer level". At which point I pointed out that I have 99 slayer and of course he then said I must have done soul wars for it. I just tend to ignore people like that, they have no basis for saying it and are most likely just jealous and/or trolling. Just add them to your ignore list and carry on.

There's no confirmation that it's delayed further, they changed the wording from sounding like there'll be two updates in one week to what it is now which could mean anything. The reason for the delay is that they've had to separate it from the engine update which will mean they'll have to test to make sure the changes will work on the current engine without any issues.

If a boss hates you and someone applies to your position, chances are you'll probably get fired and replaced. This actually happened in the lab I worked in this summer. You kind of missed the main point I was bringing up - Jobs are a similar commodity as monster spawns. I'm fairly sure companies are not allowed to interview people for your position without informing you that they're doing so first. But that is getting hugely off topic. Jobs are not at all similar to monster spawns at all and it really was a useless analogy. A better one would be that some children are playing football using the only goal on the field, you're older than them and better so you just come along and take the goal from them. That would be a more accurate analogy although still far far from perfect. It's impossible to have a perfect analogy and it's silly trying to come up with one.

This is wrong, with a job interview no one HAS the job, you're all on an equal starting point and in the end one person gets the job. This would be like mining in Runescape, several people all mining the same rock but only one person gets it, usually that of the higher level. When you're crashing someone, they're already there, in your analogy that'd mean they'd already have their job and you'd come and take it from them because you're better at that job. If someone already has a position you want then you either apply for the position elsewhere or wait for it to open, you don't go barging in and just take the job off someone. I'm fairly sure if you did that then you'd feel somewhat bad about it. If you're going to use analogies, at least think them through first.

Can you guys quit trying to correlate RS morality to RL morality? :roll: I will do when this stops being an MMO where there are OTHER people playing at the same time. At the end of the day, you're disrupting another person's playing for your own benefit, that's a real life effect you're having. Of course it's never going to be 100% the same and no one is claiming it is, however you have to least consider the effect you're having on another person. Because you play more than someone it doesn't mean you get the right to disrupt them.
