Really? Thought It was only tier 7/8 Anyway, done OS25 today, rolled 95 on a dragon hide bag and got that. Then immediately rolled 95 on tier 7.5 gloves after too. Mwuhahaha, so far I have a 100% win record today =P It's annoying trying to find a pug group for Naxx, they're all saying that you need the achievement for beating it already plus the epic achievement... which is especially stupid for naxx10 which doesn't even give 213 items >_<

Downed both. Wiped 3 times on Emalon but nothing good dropped. Then one shotted the other one.

Done a bit more today, got an epic wand from AN heroc and that's it (only run 3 heroics so far today). Switched to Arcane spec which is helping me lot (2.5k+ DPS now for bosses and 2k average). Made some Black Duskweave trousers, bought a mantle of runecasting I think it's called and then got an epic sash for 40 emblems. Then I did OS10, 3rd highest DPS. Items which you can sock tend to have a gem set bonus. To get the bonus you need to place the correct coloured gems in the correct sockets. You usually get some extra +sta or +str. That make sense, I thought the sockets HAD to match up with the gems to work. :lol: Just bought myself some nice shoulders =D, need 7 more Emblems of Heroism for a decent waist item while is the last green I have (other than a trinket). Then just need a decent 1 handed weapon and another 25 emblems of heroism to get the off-hand thing and I think I should just about be ready for at least OS lol.

What? o.O I thought red gems had to go in red sockets... otherwise what's the point of the colours?!?!?!?

There was nothing else useful gem wise so I just stuck that in for something as it didn't cost too much. Given it has spirit I assume I'll get something better more tailored for mages. As for tailoring, think I'm a couple of levels short of being able to create stuff that would actually be usable, but should be able to start making things soon. I've checked the AH for things but there's pretty much nothing in terms of armour or weapons on my server atm, for example the highest level 1 handed sword is in the 50s :?

Then CoS which got me that hood which is the best item I got, and Violet Hold for a trinket and the dragon necklace from UK, which is useless as I can already upgrade it with EoH =/ All of the things I got I wasn't challenged for, and all the ones I was challenged on I lost, must be a good 6 rolls I lost today on things I needed :s including 3 in nexus alone. In other HCs just nothing good dropped :( Oh well, always tomorrow.

Dinged 80 about 1 minutes after logging in :wall: Now to run Heroics all day =P Done DTK already, got the ring from the final boss, it's an upgrade to what I had before although it has icky spirit :( Also rolled 100 greed on some rubbish Epic, but it got me an achievement so not complaining :P Hoping to run a good 10 or so heroics today.

Some people figure that if you're playing on a PvP server that you'd want to PvP. I know, I know, it's a crazy ideal. It's not PvP when there's about 5 level 80s camping you so when you spawn you die instantly. It was in the quest area where I needed to hand in quests, what the hell am I meant to do?

WEnt from 75-78 yesterday, hoping to ding 80 today. Is it me or do people seem to gank more at these higher levels? Had some alliance camping me at one of the quest points in Zul Drak, seriously, what's the point? :roll:

Yes, as Super Range potions and super magic potions are super imaginative? That's two potions that could potentially be added, however I see no need for either of them, especially a better magic potion. Smithing hasn't had any major updates in ages because it's already got something pretty much every level and it's had some high level updates (Dragon Plate and Dragonfire Shield) in recent times. I didn't say there SHOULD be a slayer update every 3 levels, I said based on the previous levels for slayer those are the ones where Jagex are likely to put it based on previous patterns. Out of those 88 in my opinion is the one Jagex are most likely to add, which is not going to add anything between the 90-99 gap which you mentioned. As for range - I think it's fine as it is at the moment, it's used more commonly then melee is for a lot of bosses and any major update would make PvM tipped even more in favour of Range. Although PvP is tipped in the balance of melee which makes updating either skill very difficult.

I never get why people make that comment, the whole point to magic, and the reason there are 7 spells dedicated to it, it because you are supposed to farcast. The whole point of a mage in combat is to stop the enemy being able to hit them, which is why rangers are supposed to overpower mage in the triangle. Now it all gets complicated when you bring hybriding into the equation, but the main combat triangle isn't broken. Meleers able to wear Dragonhide without any negative bonuses completely breaks the triangle, the act that melee is the only class that does not rely on armour for it's accuracy is what makes it broken, mages can't cast while wearing armour for example and to a lesser extent rangers can't range while wearing melee armour. It's too late to change it now however as it would break far too many PvM things, but Jagex should really have put negative melee bonuses on ranged armour.

Thunderbluff confuses the hell out of me, too many different layers. I like Undercity, the bank is right in the middle and it's a quick 10 second walk/run to the auction house with the Mail box/flight path another 10 seconds or so from the bank. It is confusing as to where the skill trainers etc. are but as a mage I don't have that problem, just teleport right there =P

Undercity is so cluttered it reminds me of the Exodar. And Ogrimmar is just... so undeveloped. Ironforge and Stormwind has a grand feeling while Darnassus is just so serene. And the transport is so annoying. When I was leveling my belf I get so annoyed by the fact that I have to go out of the city to ride the blimp for UC/Ogrimmar. SW has a train and a port right inside! I've never had a problem with transport, but that's because I'm a mage :P Being able to Teleport between the cities is really good.

Finally got the Classic Dungeonmaster Achievement earlier today :D Had Stockades and Dire Maul to do, surprised I could solo Dire Maul tbh, I'm only 75 frost mage so have no tanking ability or healing ability at all which was quite hard. Although I used my WE as an off-tank for some bosses that required it which certainly helped. Also started Dual-Boxing earlier today, have a Warrior and a Priest. The Warrior is called HealBetter and the Priest is called TankBetter :lol:, fairly easy so far, first time levelling either character and they seem to complement each other well. Both are level 9 atm and closing in on 10.

And for those doubting Jagex will ever release a better crossbow (Don't think Dragon is mentioned however) I believe one of the Dwarves in the underground passage beneath White Wolf Mountain mentions something about a new crossbow type made with a magic log stock. This was when crossbows came out so it's not something new, but I'd imagine a new crossbow would be Dragon.

piety/chivalry for Mage/Range aren't needed as there's only one stat to boost (range/mage) which effects accuracy AND damage already. If you then release a single 20% boost for Range/Mage instead of 15% Eagle Eye (I think it's 15%) gives, then melee will demand single boosting prayers that use less prayer individually then piety does so they can better select what they want to boost. I don't really see a super ranged potion as needed but could be added, although the normal ranged potion is already higher than the melee super potions are and it would seem out of place to have a super ranged potion which would have to be quite a high level for something that to be fair would only add another 6 levels of range than the normal range potion.
