Great Demons? Wha? This is for new, new, NEW players, level 3s who can't tell a password from an elbow. The moment they see a level 80-whatever demon smiling down at them they'll run away, only to miss that crucial bit of info about how to deter hackers or something. Jagex wants this to be "educational fun", so it can't be too hard or most of the people won't bother and it'll be a waste of an update.

I think there may be more rewards after giving out 10 eggs, the "I've collected X eggs" must be there for some reason other than just getting the ring. Maybe 20, 50, etc? I'll try...

Yeah, just saw it. According to the Knowledge Base there's 8 subquests to do in all.... interesting :D

Realistic catagory sounds... interesting :) Gonna try out as a miner, it'll be fun I hope. Pity it's on Sunday at 5 am. :(

What really confuses me about the world of Runescape is the fact that none of the characters have any of the fine details we would expect on a normal human. Knees, for example. How can you run without knees? Why do the armours have knee pads when there's nothing to fill them? Ears, because although the characters have little flaps that appear whenever they're talking to somebody, they're totally flat and don't even look like ears. Elbows, for without them you can't bend your arm and would break it every time you tried to swing a pickaxe. So why don't our characters have these fine details? Or a face, for that matter? Is it because Jagex lacks the code to describe these appendages? Could it be that an influx of several million knees could cause the servers to crash?

Macroing is that bad because it undermines the work done by real people who spend their time actively playing the game, not just using a program to do it for them. And also because it destabilises the economy and basically causes problems for Jagex when making new skills, items, etc.

I thought bronze was the most ungodly awesome thing to ever grace the Runescape world. I still go :D

Bah. Probably being obsessed with uncut rubies way back in RSC... I tried to buy one for about 5k more than they were worth, and me being a noob I didn't know you could hold down the mouse button to put more coins up (no "all coins" or "x" in those days). He asked me to give him the money first So anyway I paid this guy all my money and he sped off :P

That actually sounds awesome. Kinda like a Runescape-wide (or city-wide) random event where all the players need to work together to survive, not just a team of ten or so but everyone in the vicinity. And then there'd be NPCs running around saying "FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY TAKE COVER IN THE BANK" or something. Whatever the above post said. It'd be great for the community...

Do Runescape characters even have ears? Or knees? ELBOWS? Cutting ears of victims sounds like a little too violent for Jagex :D. They'd probably go with some kind of record of every player you've killed sorta thing, and what level they were when you did it.
