  1. A house of my own on RS! Wow, just like the Sims and I made some beautiful houses. :) I really need to organize my bank. It's so sad. I spend alot of time there looking over things.........Who knows what they are? So a closet, or private organized bank would be nice. A stove to cook gnome food, especially chocolate bombs because they look good and heal so much health. Flowers in the front, with herbs.... if I ever learn how to do that. Trees in the back, with a hammock big enough for two strung through the yews A pathway out the back door leading to some water (that doesn't have mogres in it), to be able to watch the sun set with all it's glory.
  2. Thank you, ty for helping. Since I wasn't sure what to do with this I had to wait for help. My guru friend returned from holiday and took this info and ran with it. No more winfixer, no more than normal lags and it's great! Thanks for helping. This is a great site! :D
  3. Whew, so far so good. Thanks for helping.
  4. I hope I've done this the right way. Thanks for instructions. I've removed Xoftspy. Got HFT, made it's own folder. Went to get CCleaner but chickened out. Winfixer is popping up whenever I log into Yahoo under Add and Remove programs, then gives its name. Then it gives me a blank screen and bumps me out. It also pops up and bumps me out of here. And now I'm really running slooow. If anyone can help, that would be great. Let me know what else you may need. If it's really bad news, could you tell me gently?? 5. WHAT??? You're joking, right? ARGHHH......someone just shoot me now, quick!!
  6. Thanks for trying to help me, techs. Sir - not to worry, I didn't try to copy what Colt told you to do because I know my limitations here. I'm clueless. :? Colt - I'd send you my HJT log, but don't know what it is or how to do it. I just wandered into this forum to see if winfixer was a problem for others and to maybe get a quick fix. Thanks for the offer though. :) I downloaded Xoftspy last night and that seems to have fixed it, as well as other stuff that snuck in. It cost, but at least it's fixed. I hope. :D
  7. OMG! It's in my computer too but I don't understand a thing you said.........I'm sure it's great, but my brain is not equipped to deal with it. My next best move is to call my handy computer guru and have him fix it. Glad to see I'm not the only one with winfixer problems. Mine happened AFTER I installed Foxfire (read it on a post someplace that it was better than IE). I've removed that, I think, and am using IE now but winfixer keeps butting in. Also, Adaware never picked it up and Spybot does only sometimes. I'm also running Norton which did zip. :(
  8. Great writing and imagination! I loved it. In the real world, there are so many things that can pull us down. Sometimes it's nice to have that fantasy world to bring you up. You are a good writer. Hope you use your skills to make that happen. ps. I love sci fi novels :D
  9. I'm 62 and love the game! I play with my grandsons who are in different states. I feel like I'm visiting them at the same time. Met lots of nice people, whatever their age may be. Doesn't really matter, does it? :D
