That doesn't mean anything, that just means that your wireless isn't connected, and neither is your wired. Have you restarted the computer yet? Can you see your network in the wireless networks around you? In the options, delete the profile you have of the network.

The following should still work, but it's geared towards XP. Here's what you do bro: Find the following for the network: SSID Encryption Type Encryption Key Is the network broadcasting? Or is it hidden? Odds are it's broadcasting, seeing how you're using WEP rather than WPA I'm guessing you didn't bother hiding your network. Go to your wireless configuration, you're using the Windows Zero service right? Not some third party software? Anyway, go to advanced settings, and the Wireless Networks tab at the top. Press "Add..." Enter the SSID, the name of your network. Check the box, connect even if it's not broadcasting. (If your network is hidden) Data encryption: WEP Network Authentication: Open or shared, depending on what you set it as. Uncheck the box "The key is provided for me..." Type in your network key (password) in the boxes. Hit "Ok". Are you connected now?

As part of my IT job is to put requisitions out for laptops and equipment, I come in contact with all sorts of laptops, and need to fix them as problems arise. Toshiba- Main complaint I'm hearing about these is that they're really hot. The newer laptops have this fancy keyboard that is really susceptible to fingerprints. Apparently some older models have a BIOS problem that will cause the pc to crash, but I think Pheonix v 2.0 fixed that. Asus- Those small pcs are nice, but the keyboards are really annoying. If you're used to using a full sized keyboard, the smaller one will need some time 'til you get used to it. Otherwise, pretty solid, except for some performance issues. But really, what can you demand out of one of those small things? Dell- We're big fans of this company. Sure, problems arise, once we got a shipment of pcs and one of them had a faulty psu. Well, I put in a request for a new one, and got it delivered a day later. They're new super laptop line, forgot the exact name, looks awesome, but it's really heavy. Alienware- Owned by Dell, they're newest one comes off the standard line at 700 bucks I believe? Mac- lolmacs Sony- Watch out for paying for the name, the Vaio line has the same specs as some others on the market, but can fetch a couple extra dollars off Sony's name. Lenovo- They're releasing their products quickly, but a little too quickly. The initial specs seem nice but we haven't seen it's competitors yet because they came out first Gateway- I like them. Are they still in business? Back when they were, I liked their pcs! Acer- Same as Asus. Only difference is that Acer USA headquarters is down the street, so if I have an issue, there we go. HP- You know, I don't think I've ever used an HP book before, I've seen them being used, and the outer case looks sexy.

Well, I brought rune c bow and broads + enchanted diamond, but I forgot I had the diamonds with me until after Jad was dead... So I'd go with broads. For healing, I brought super restores, sara brews, ranging pots, and 4 rocktails. But I brought the rocktails in place of super restores, because I found out I had plenty of prayer left over. I'd stick with prayer restores if you find you are running out of prayer.

In all honesty, the topic title is a misnomer, Guthans doesn't fail, since so many others, myself included, used it to get the fire cape. Redirecting the blame to Guthans rather than yourself just hampers your own ability to take responsibility as to why you can't beat the caves. Anyway, have you tried using Guthans coupled with SGS? The first 2 times I used those two I failed, first time I tried to save prayer and didn't protect from the 360 quick enough. The second time I panic'd at Jad when the healers spawned. But finally the third time, I didn't need to use any healing until Jad, and even at Jad I only used 3 doses of sara brew, which was more for security than anything, didn't need them to stay alive. And my ranging level was (and still is) lower than yours.

You're right about the lens flare, that was sarcasm, which doesn't go well on the internet. The rest is all true though. We must keep in mind that this is all new to him. There's nothing wrong with gradients. Sometimes a gradient makes things better. Sometimes a gradient gives it that extra touch. Anime renders, what's wrong with them? If you like a certain anime, what's wrong with using anime renders? And smudging the renders? Insanity just put up a tutorial. One of the steps... Here we go, wait for it... Smudge the render! Incidentally, you mentioned that you are using a USB headset. USB headsets have their own sound card built into the USB, it doesn't use the onboard one. It will use the onboard one if you use the jacks rather than the USB.

My suggestion, add a border. 95% of the time, a border makes it look much better. All this hate against the shield... I've had my dfs since level 93 combat, and I've used it since. I bring it to every slayer task. The special, used it when I just got it, but not since then. I'd go for the shield.
