Here's a few things I've learned after 9 years of exams: 1. When you study, take breaks. You can only focus effectively for so long. 2. Practice what you've learned. Knowing a formula or technique won't do you much good if you aren't familiar with using it. 3. Use prior tests/exams. Most teachers let you keep a copy of prior tests and as was stated earlier, very often you will see recycled questions. Make sure you remember what you knew, and focus on those items you got wrong. 4. I personally enjoyed studing with a group when possible. When with other people, you might pick up good techniques for remembering things you didn't already know. It's also good to quiz eachother as this gives you practice actually answering the questions themselves. 5. Know your teachers. Some teachers love true/false. Some teachers love short essays. If you know the format of the test and what the teacher will be looking for, you will be more likely to give them what they want. 6. When you get there, have confidence in yourself. Second guessing and doubting yourself is a big no-no. If you go back and change things you are more than likely going to break a right answer, than fix a wrong one.

Some of the attitudes and opinions displayed within this thread left me feeling sick. The only point I will concede is that yes, the buying and selling of JaGeX's intellectual property is against the law, and engaging in illegal activities bring's along with it the risk of punishment. The greed and hate in some of the prior statements in my opinion is just as bad, if not worse than, the actions you accuse the goldfarmers of taking. I think Fook hit the nail on the head when he said he is a human first, and a runescape player second. It seems that many have gotten this order reversed. "I don't care who's behind it, I want them to burn in hell." "I hope it's taking away their next meal, or their ability to recieve education." These quotes were obviously not verbatim, but thats what they were saying. But I have to ask one question: Are you [censored] serious? I hope for your own welfare that you some day recieve a better perspective on this life. And for those that say if you care so much go out and do something, I'll beat you to it. I do participate in charities. I've been involved in several habitat for humanity events, I donate every holiday, have participated in a big brother style program to help inner city youth, as well as other channels to assist those that need it. I'm done with this thread, I just felt obligated to try and balance some of the hate on these pages.

Well I was browsing through some old stuff I had found, and here it is. This is a stat pic which I had named 8602, so these are my stats from over 4 years ago... yea, I didn't play for a good 2 1/2+ of those 4 :-X This goes to show what a pain the trade screen used to be... I used to trade Tks 1000's of big bones for R2H's back in the day, and doing it 12 at a time was mind-numbingly boring. This was the benefit of doing those trades, and back then R2H's were nowhere near cheap. Here's a bank picture from before I started giving the bones to her, I loved that green phat by the way... I think they were around 90k at that time. Here's some of the old sigs I used on the boards way back when. And a few other people's sigs I had saved for some reason... I never thought that I would end up back here again, but sometimes RS helps me remember my youth, so I came back a few months ago and took a few months of membership. I wonder how long I'll stay this time.

Wow, I wish things could be like they were. The game may not have been as good as it is now tech and content wise, but the community was so much smaller and nicer. That is what made the game fun to play.

I used to have tons more but these were all that were left :( ... They were on a HP with a 333 Mhz Celeron that I hadn't touched since X-mas 2001. I had a bunch along with LKJ, Glove, Tiwi, TKS, Hiana, Paul, Andrew, Mod, Saradomin, Kithplana, Lightning, Ltangel, Gugge, etc. You name it, I probably had it. With only 2-3 servers and maybe 4,000 people playing as well as with how small the world was back then, running into someone like that isn't the way it is today. Remember when there were those fenced off areas in Falador and Varrock with buildings that were reserved for players houses? If you read the sign it said coming soon... in 2001! Wow those days were so fun :?

Well I was going through the hard drive of an old computer of mine and I ran across some screenshots taken circa 2001- early 2002 so I figured I would share them with the community so some of the old timers around could remember what it was like when the world was so big, and so some of the newer scapers could see just how small it started... Alchemon - The original God of Gods in RS strength Bluerose13x - The first power leveler and the one woman who changed the face of RS MODERATOR - From back when Andrew, Paul and the crew roamed RS ... Interesting memory, Moderator was just killed by a greater demon and that lady there training was Sandytrain A live picture of him this time... Bluerose is also in this one... King Sabre - Founder of "The Sabres" One of the original, Largest, and most infamous clans to find a home in RS Rab - What do I say? lol Fook-a-Ji - Couldn't find any pics of him, but I am sure any board troll from the time remembers the antics as well as this sig... My stats from a very long time ago... If you check them on the high score they haven't gotten much better in the last 5 years, I pretty much stopped playing :? The first time I had full adam, and at the time it was the best you could get... Also notice the addy battle axe pwnage :P A ss of me hitting for a 19 which at the time was a big deal. Thank God for "paralyze monster" and the two black knight next to an alter.. A pic from the cooking guild with a few people that used the ladder bug in the WK castle to get into the "void"... Which for those that dont know you were just on the second floor without being in a building and could wonder around the whole world. Never tried it though :? I have a couple portal chambers in my house and I was wondering if I upgrade from the teak portal to the mohogany portal or marble ones, do I have to focus that portal again or does the first focus still stay?

Yea, I feel like an idiot. I got members about a month ago but I haven't done much quests or ecploring, mostly just working on my skills. Anyway I would like to go to the stonemason to buy some construction supplies. I found the tunnel but once im through past the mountain trolls, I'm stuck. How do I actully get into the city? :oops: ty in advance

I am just wondering why Ultimate strength, Steel skin, or Incredible reflexes hasn't been brought up... Increasing your stats by 15% by praying. Sounds just as fair in the wild as using protection prayers. How many people in the wild would cry without those prayers?

So most of the armor listed doesn't require a quest? Good news, I appreciate the response!

I was wondering if any of the following pieces of armor/weaponry have any requirements beside minimum stats: Armor: Dragon Chainbody Dragon Medium Dragon Platelegs Dragon Gloves Barrows Gloves Crystal Shield Weapons: Dragon 2 Handed sword Dragon Halberd Dragon Scimitar I just recently joined members and haven't completed many quests but I have some money to burn on so nice new equipment and I wanted to make sure I could use it in the near future before buying. I looked through the guides but there were mixed messages about a few of them so I figured I would make sure and ask about them all. THX all!
